###Chapter 505 Try To Fall In Love In Another Way – Part 3
After he let out this sentence, I felt nervous by his intent.
As he tried to pull me in, I had no choice but to retreat. I looked at him for a moment and swallowed hard. "Don't be so close to me, it's getting late. I should go back."
His posture was too ambiguous, not seeming to advance or retreat. He was unintentionally forcing me to breathe a little harder.
He seemed to enjoy threatening me, yet he didn't do anything. He just looked at me and said, "Where are you going back?"
As he spoke, he leaned his lips closer to my face.
I was so nervous for a moment that I dared not breathe and closed my eyes almost subconsciously.
When I sensed him moving closer, I moved over and tried to avoid it. He spoke in a low voice. "Don't refuse me!"
For a moment, I didn't know what to do so I just let him fool around.
He seemed to have pleasure as he taunted me. He just gently kissed my cheek and softly touched my face.
As he became even gentler and softer with his touches, I got weaker.
"Ivelle," he spoke in a low, introverted voice that was particularly beautiful.
"Please, Jordan," I said, my vision a little blurred, vaguely looking forward to his next action. Suddenly, he stopped.
I opened my eyes and saw him smiling at me, his lips bright red, "Do you want it?"
My whole face blushed and his voice softened. "Jordan, you bastard!"
His low laughter was ticklish in my ears.
This night was inevitable.
There was a bit of heat and glare in the sun during August. When I woke up to see the man next to me, I was almost shocked for a moment.
"Why are you still here?"
Jordan was still lying down. Seeing that I was awake, he stretched out his arm and pulled me into his arms.
He smiled and asked, "Why can't I be here?"
I was a little surprised for a moment, looked at him, and said, "I..."
"Hungry?"
I curled my lips and avoided him. "I should go! I have to go to work right now."
My body was held down by him gently, "Tell me, where are you going?"
I was stunned silent for a moment and said, "Jordan, last night I thought we had drunken sex, and so..."
"You thought that you will be free from now on?" He opened his mouth, the gentleness in his voice disappeared, a little more cold and fierce, "Ivelle, do you want me to let you escape?"
I shook my head. "No, of course not!" But for a moment, I could not say why. I paused and said, "I do not want to escape. I just want to live my own life, Jordan. You are fine, but you should mind your own life."
"Bullshit!" He was obviously angry. "What do you mean by your own life? Doesn't my existence affect your life?"
I nodded, my face a little stiff, "Yes, you have affected me. But I want to find my own life. I do not want to continue to struggle with you like this. Why can you not understand that?"
He was silent and did not open his mouth for a short while He just looked at me, with his cold and distraught eyes.
At once, he looked very angry!
I got up, pulled the clothes on the floor, wore it on, looked at him indifferently, and said, "I'm sorry to bother you last night."
With that, I left the hotel without waiting for him to make any reaction.
I took a taxi directly to Preston. Because of the alcohol, I drank last night, I still lacked some of my energy. On top of that, I was also uncomfortable with what happened last night.
As soon as I entered William's office, I saw William in a black suit, looking at me with heavy and precocious eyes.
I was stupefied and remembered that Grace said he drank too much last night. Still, I didn't know what happened to him.
After sensing my danger, I just laughed and looked at him and said, "Good morning, Boss Preston!"
Linda put a pile of papers on my desk and said, "Miss Ivelle, you have a lot to do today. Thank you for your hard work."
I nodded, smiled, and said hello to her. After Linda left, William continued to stare at me.
It felt strange being intensely looked at by him, so I said, "Boss Preston, are you okay?
"You didn't come home at night with me. Where did you go last night?" He spoke in a deep voice.
I was slightly stupefied, smiled, and covered up my embarrassment. "Yesterday I met my former friend at Zero, so I had a few more drinks with him, and then I stayed up all night because we got too happy."
It's too far-fetched to say this excuse, but I couldn't find a suitable way out for a while.
He looked at me but did not open his mouth. His pair of dark eyes stared straight at me, which made me feel numb.
In order to ease my embarrassment, I couldn't help asking, "Boss Preston, have you had breakfast?"
I almost forgot that my current job was to be responsible for this man's three meals a day.
He didn't open his mouth for he seemed too lazy to talk to me. He turned straight into his own office.
After thinking about it, I went downstairs to buy him breakfast, and when I came back, I saw that William was not in the office anymore
I didn't see Linda either. I remembered that I was going to have a morning meeting and hurried into the conference room.
As soon as I entered, the speaker stopped his speech. I was a little embarrassed for a moment. I looked up and saw that everyone in the conference room was looking at me.
This was embarrassing!
I couldn't help looking up at everyone's faces. I said with an embarrassed tone, "Excuse me, everyone! I'm sorry I'm late."
William sat at the front, looked at me with deep eyes, and then signaled the person on the stage to continue.
After tossing about all morning, I finally got through to the end of the meeting. But before I left the conference room, I was stopped by William.
"Ivelle!"
I stopped and looked back at him. I laughed and said unnaturally, "Boss Preston!"
Didn't you know there was going to be a meeting today?" He told me with a bit serious tone.
I nodded and shook my head again, feeling nervous, and said, "Boss Preston, I'm sorry, it's my fault. I promise it won't happen next time."
He curled his lips and said in a heavy tone, "You have worked in Astley and Badger Groups, which shows that your ability is good, so I directly let you into the company without being selected by the personnel department. But this does not mean that Preston's rules and regulations are just a child's play. Ivelle, any job, now that you have taken over, you have to take it seriously."
I nodded again and again, and replied obediently, "Yes, boss!"
He curled his lips and seemed to be in a bad mood, so he passed by me and went straight out of the conference room.
I sighed, but my heart was still perturbed.
Linda stood waiting for me at the door. Seeing that I was a little depressed, she could not help saying, "Mr. William is very strict with his work. You just got here so you need to get used to it for a few more days."
I looked up at her and saw her gently pacify me. I was surprised and looked at her and said, "Thank you!"
She smiled. "Everyone comes to the company like this. Since a woman doesn't want to be a housewife who depends on men, she has to crawl and put herself at the top of the workplace."
