###Chapter 576 Witnessing That Love Is Mostly Happiness – Part 5
He didn't respond to her, but while she was talking, he bowed his head and bit Ivelle's lip.
It hurts a little, but it doesn't matter. She was drunk from their intense kiss anyway. She frowned at him and complained. "Jordan, you said you belong to me, right?"
He chuckled like a giddy kid. "That's so sweet, I can't help it."
She stared at him and rolled her eyes afterward. "You!"
He picked up Ivelle like a princess and pressed her on the big bed as soon as she turned around.
"Jordan, turn off the lights!" In a panic, she suddenly said.
He gave a hum, reached out and touched the remote control on the nightstand, pressed it shallowly, and the room was plunged into darkness.
In the dark space, the only thing left is the sound of each other's breathing.
After their passionate tryst, Ivelle laid in his arms. His long legs shallowly pressed a pressure on her and did not mean to move.
Pillowed on his arm, laid face to face with him, she blushed and was too embarrassed.
Jordan's palm rubbed gently on her back like he was coaxing her to sleep. She knew that it was getting late, and this posture and the physical act made it particularly easy for her to fall asleep.
Ivelle couldn't help closing her eyes and getting sleepier. Minutes have passed, she completely dozed off.
She slept very well that night. The moment that she woke up the next day, it was already eight o'clock, and Jordan was still lying next to her.
She reached out to hold him and move closer towards him. He stretched out his hand and held her in his arms. Like a magnet, they are spooned closer. His voice was low and hoarse. "Are you awake?"
She nodded and hummed in response.
He smiled and then continued to embrace Ivelle.
Sensing that something was wrong, her sleepiness suddenly vanished and she couldn't help looking up at him. He smiled. "Be good, I'll do it myself."
Ivelle was going to say something, but all of a sudden, she was overwhelmed by him.
An hour later, on the dinner table.
She felt better after taking a bath and headed downstairs. From there, she saw a picturesque scene of Jordan while he was frying bacon in the kitchen like a dutiful husband.
She doesn't want to move very much, so she chose to sit on the table with her head on her chin as she waited to eat.
He came out of the kitchen with breakfast and saw her staring at him. He couldn't help but raise his eyebrows. "What do you think?"
"I can't help but think again. How could I meet such a perfect man like you?"
He sat down at the table, looked at his wife with his black eyes that shone brightly at her compliment. Jordan teasingly smiled. "Looks like you're satisfied today!" He said with innuendo.
There's always a pun on that.
Ivelle deliberately ignored what he said as she blushed profusely and pursed her lips. She bowed her head to conceal her embarrassment and started to eat her breakfast.
Jordan, always elegant, put a piece of bacon into his mouth. He chewed it slowly and swallowed it. "What's the plan for today?"
She answered casually. "I'll just go to work. You know, my usual monotonous schedule."
With the benefit of hindsight, today is Saturday, so she doesn't have to go to the office.
Stupefied, Ivelle can't help but suggest. "Can't you just stay and rest here at home?" She pouted.
He smiled and said. "Well, that's a good idea. After all, the weather is not very good. Today is suitable for rest."
She can't help looking at him warily. She suddenly felt that this remark seemed to mean something else.
But she didn't say anything, so he had to change the subject and asked. "What about you? Do you have any plans for today?"
He looked at her gently and inquired in low voice. "I'll stay with you while you're on a rest!"
"Ahem!" Ivelle coughed for a moment, and the man spoke more and more.
Seeing this, he looked calm as humor danced in his eyes. "What's the matter?"
As soon as he asked that, it was as if her face was hot. She simply put down the knife and fork and got up. "No, take your time!"
He frowned. "Don't leave yet, finish eating!"
Ivelle was shocked for a moment. "Then can someone stop teasing so I can eat two bites more then this will be over?"
"Do you feel ashamed of your husband? I'm hurt."
She pursed her lips and looked at him. "Then stop teasing me so that I can finish them."
This time he frowned slightly. "What if I don't want to stop and continue talking?"
Ivelle facepalmed and looked at him seriously.
For a moment, he gave in. Jordan nodded in defeat and motioned to Ivelle to finish the rest of her food.
She sat back at the table, bowed her head, and continued to eat. After a few minutes, she couldn't sit still because Jordan stared at her all the time which made her feel a little uncomfortable.
After taking the last bite, Ivelle looked at him and said. "I'm done!"
He put down his knife and fork, looked at her more seriously, and said. "Ivelle, did I affect your breakfast?"
She was slightly ashamed and angrily responded to her. "Jordan, don't always flirt with me!"
He burst out laughing, got up, and walked towards her as he appeared somewhat doting, "Am I flirting with you?"
'This guy.' She shook her head.
Ivelle stopped talking when his cell phone suddenly rang.
"Answer the phone first!" With that, she went straight upstairs.
Ivelle found that Jordan was so unrestrained recently that he didn't control himself at all.
She was going to have a good rest at home this weekend but didn't expect Grace to call.
"Ivelle, we will go to Cape Oaks Village to see my grandfather. Last time, I invited him and he said that he'll go, but did not go."
She forgot about it and nodded. "Okay, what time shall we go so I can start preparing? Shall we go now or wait until one o'clock in the afternoon?"
"We'll wait until the afternoon. We'll stay there at night, is that okay? I haven't got up yet. I guess it'll take a while to get it ready. I'll pick you up when I'm done!"
She nodded. "Alright, you can just call me then." Thinking about last night, Ivelle couldn't help asking in concern. "How were you last night? Why are you up so early today?" She drank a lot yesterday that is why Ivelle expected her to get up late.
She sighed. "Stop it. I almost got beat up. If it hadn't been for Linda's words, I wouldn't have drunk so much. Really, it still hurts!"
"Is William at home?"
"He seems to have something to do. He went out early in the morning. I was woken up by a phone call from my grandfather just now, so I gave you a call. By the way, I'm going to sleep a little longer and smash the door and go there later." Her voice was a little lazy which seemed to be caused by being too sleepy.
Ivelle nodded. "Grace, go to bed and sleep some more. It's all right. I'm just here at home. William is not here. Why don't you come and have lunch with us at noon?"
"No!" She refused. "I don't think I can get up at noon, and your iceberg's husband's face is at home. I'm more afraid to see him, so I won't go."
Ivelle smiled at her remark and stopped demanding.
As soon as she hung up the phone, she went directly to the study room. Probably because of the newly decorated house, there were not many books in the study but were embellished with some documents and magazines instead.
Seeing that there was a book on the shelf that was not very conspicuous, Ivelle couldn't help but reach out and take a look at its content.
She didn't expect that Jordan would put such a happy book on the shelf. She was in a good mood, so she decided to just sit and read it.
When Jordan came in, he saw her looking at the book and smiling. He came up to Ivelle and sat down. "What are you looking at? Why do you have a happy look on your face?"
She unconsciously raised her hand and touched her face. She pressed him and asked. "Do I look happy?"
This was supposed to be a rhetorical question, but what ivelle didn't expect is to hear another meaning. She saw the corners of his mouth rose and smiled. "You are always happy by my side!"
I was stupefied, probably because of the book. She cannot help but feel very sweet and said. "Good love will make onlookers feel very happy. Mr. Theodore Markey and his family are really good!"
He smiled and said. "Well, when you come back to the capital with me, we will also become a family of three."
