###Chapter 584 Sudden Disaster - Part 3
She shook her head, touched her stomach, and said, "I can't eat anymore. I just finished Italian with William Preston. I ate the whole bowl of Bolognese pasta. Although the cheese was too high in calories, and I'm afraid of being fat, I appreciated how delicious it was!"
I smiled and looked at her and said, "At 5 feet 5 inches and only 132 pounds! Why do you call them so fat?"
She slipped her lips and said, "You only weigh more than 120 pounds yourself, of course, you don't feel fat!"
I laughed and did not answer.
She looked around and saw that Jordan Astley was not there. She frowned and asked, "Hasn't Jordan come home yet?"
I nodded. "He had a dinner party in this evening, and he probably had to entertain until very late."
Grace said, "It seems that the wife of the president has to be able to stand loneliness tonight"
When I ate a piece of cheese, I was so satisfied that I got up and poured her some water.
I smiled and said, "Did you just go to An Italian restaurant?"
She nodded, and her eyes fell on me. She squinted slightly and frowned, "What happened to your arm?"
I could not help following her eyes. I didn't know when I had a red rash on my arm.
She grabbed me and said nervously, "Why is it on your face?"
I did not show her my surprise and looked at my leg and other parts. There were a lot of red rashes!
Grace looked at me and I looked at her, and we both said at the same time, "Allergy?"
I was stunned for a moment. Grace looked at me and said, "Are you allergic to cheese or spices?"
I shook my head. I can't be allergic to the things I used to eat.
Seeing this, she could not help saying, "Did you eat anything else before?"
Then I said, "I ate the hairy crabs."
"Are you allergic to seafood?" Grace inquired.
I shook my head And said, "No. I ate seafood also yesterday. How could I be allergic?"
Without thinking for a moment, Grace ran out and stood in the yard and shouted loudly, "William, Ivelle seems to be allergic! Get ready and we'll bring her to the hospital."
I look at the red rash on my body. I do not understand how I got it. What food did I eat that I suddenly got this allergic reaction?
After a while, Grace ran in and pulled me out. William Preston's car was parked outside the villa.
When he got on the car, William drove directly to the hospital. Grace looked a little worried. She looked at me and said, "Why don't you call Jordan?"
I shook my head and said, "He should still be busy at this time. It's all right, it's just a slight allergy. It shouldn't be a big deal. Don't worry. Let's just go to the hospital and have the doctor take a look."
I just feel the itch on my face. I can't help but feel sorry for my face.
I smiled and thought, "Although this face was not as beautiful as a flower, at least it is pure and lovely, and I am also a beautiful woman." Then I realized, "I don't know if it will leave a scar because there are so many rashes all of a sudden."
In the hospital.
As soon as William stopped his car, Grace ran with me towards the hospital. When we entered the hospital building, she shouted, "Doctor, we have an emergency!"
Her cry did bring people over, and several nurses looked over. After asking about the situation of the allergies, Grace went to register.
I was taken into an office by a nurse and checked by a surgeon.
The doctor on duty looked at my condition and confirmed that it was an allergy. It was not very serious though. He just gave me a few bottles of liquid.
I was a little unsure about my allergies, so I could not help saying, "Doctor, can you find out what my allergies are?"
Whether it be the hairy crab or cheese, I used to eat them all and I do not get these rashes. Why did I suddenly have this allergy?
The doctor wrote the prescription and said, "It is possible that one of these two things caused your allergies or it could be the combination of the two. If neither hairy crab nor cheese gave you this allergy then I can check the allergen for you if need to know."
I nodded, "Well, thank you! I think I need that in order to avoid fear." If I don't pay attention to it now, it might happen again. The loss will outweigh the gain, I think.
Because it was an urban hospital, there was a large flow of people. The wards were all full, so I can only stay in the corridor with a hanging IV bottle. In order to check for allergens, the little nurse took some blood and put a tag on me. She left and brought the samples to the laboratory.
There were many wards in the corridor. The night was dark, and many patients were asleep.
I could not sleep. I slept with my eyes open. Grace was busy paying medical expenses. William should have gone to find a parking space.
Whether it was a first-tier city or a second-tier city, parking spaces were always so crowded and troublesome.
I slept for a while and heard a sound in the hallway. I opened my eyes and looked. It was a male doctor in a white coat.
When he saw me awake, he said, "Did I wake you up?"
I shook my head. "No, I didn't fall asleep in the first place." Subconsciously, I looked at the liquid on the bottle, it was almost finished. I saw the injection in his hand and I froze. I asked, "Is it time to change the IV bottle?"
He shook his head, raised his hand, pinched the tag, and said, "Not for a while."
I saw him insert the needle in his hand into the bottle and pushed out the liquid from the syringe.
I wondered, "Didn't I just needed the dextrose alone?" Under normal circumstances, when one bottle was done, they will just replace it with another one. Why did this doctor suddenly add another solution with a syringe?
He adjusted and accelerated the speed of the infusion tube. He then looked at me and said, "It is just normal saline. The concentration of the solution now was just higher, so it doesn't affect what's added."
I did not know much about medicine, but I always felt that this explanation was a little too far-fetched. I thought that nothing was wrong.
I simply kept silent and just went along with it without a protest.
Then he went to change the dressing of other patients. To see that his movements were skillful and natural, I could not help but dispel my doubts. I closed my eyes and took a nap.
But gradually I noticed that something was wrong. I couldn't keep my eyes open. My eyelids were very heavy!
With doubts in my heart, I attempted to bite my lips and tried to open my eyes after trying to for a few minutes.
Suddenly I saw the doctor in a white coat standing in front of me. I suddenly had a bad feeling in my head.
I raised my hand and tried to push him away, but he suddenly picked me up. He just carried me into the hallway.
Without thinking about it, there was only one thought in my mind, and that is I must not fall asleep.
I pressed the tip of my tongue against my teeth and bit hard, the pain stimulated my nerves, and I woke up a little bit. I saw that the man was taking me to the door of the elevator.
Realizing that he might be kidnapping me, I couldn't help struggling. But maybe because of the drug, I did not have any strength. I wanted to cry for help, but I couldn't spit a word out of my lips.
I heard the sound of the elevator door opening. I was being taken by this man into the elevator! I could see him pressing the button on the elevator, but I could not see which floor he was pressing.
It was so blurry and I can only see the red lights on the panel. He was pressing the button on the lower part and I presumed that it could be the basement garage.
