###Chapter 608 Someone Who Wants It - Part 2
"Boss Jordan, can I join you?" Although it was an inquiry, Aaron had already sat down and waived at the waiter to give his order.
Jordan agreed but didn't say much.
Unwittingly, Ivelle saw something on the corner of Jordan's mouth. She immediately pulled a tissue and naturally reached out to wipe it for him. She didn't mean to wipe it for him. But because she thought that this would be too inconvenient for him because of the hand injury, she did it for him.
Jordan was a little stunned at her action and said, "I'm too old to eat so carelessly that I've got messy with my mouth."
Maybe Ivelle's sudden action was unexpected that it made him slightly stupefied for a moment. But when Jordan regained his composure, there was a smile in his black eyes and he seemed to be in a good mood.
In hindsight, Ivelle found that Aaron frowned and bowed his head to avoid his embarrassment upon seeing Ivelle's affectionate move towards Jordan. It made Ivelle uncomfortable as she thought it was too much for him to see. It was as if she was deliberately showing his love for Jordan in front of him although that was not her intention.
But if she opened her mouth to explain, it would also seem awkward. So, she just ate breakfast quietly without saying anything at all.
After they had breakfast, Jordan followed her to the base under the pretext that Ivelle would have to take care of him. Because most of his papers and meetings were changed into videos, Jordan's work was left in the office.
That morning, Ivelle was busy at the base as Jordan called her from time to time to assist him whenever he needed her to pour water for him or send documents for him.
As a result, Ivelle felt a little tired herself from all the physical work.
Just after sending him an email from Jordan's office, Timothy Coleman handed Ivelle a bottle of water and said with a smile, "It seems that Boss Jordan came to look at his wife today!"
Ivelle was stupefied for a moment. She blushed a little and replied, "No, Uncle Timothy. I think you misunderstand. He came to the base with me because he hurt his hand yesterday and he couldn't do many things on his own."
But he smiled and said, "I don't think so. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been picky about calling you away whenever Aaron was talking to you."
Ivelle was stupefied when she heard this, but she smiled.
Indeed, as Timothy said, every time Aaron talked to her, Jordan would call her. As a result, Ivelle could only get only half of Aaron's words every time.
When Timothy saw her laugh, he jokingly said, "It seems that your work today could get more tiring than it should."
Indeed, what he said was true.
While talking, Aaron came in with a bag of fruit. After giving some to the staff, he also came up to Ivelle and said, "Ivelle, the assistant brought some fruit. If you are tired, you can have some rest and eat some fruit."
But before she could open her mouth to reply, her cell phone rang.
Timothy laughed, then took the fruit and said with a smile, "Miss Ivelle, you need to be busy again."
Ivelle couldn't help but sigh because what Aaron said was true.
Without fail, she saw that it was really Jordan who called just now.
When she got on the phone, Jordan said in a low voice, "I want to drink water."
Ivelle replied to him, "Didn't I put it on the table for you?"
He opened his mouth and replied, "I drank it all a while ago."
Ivelle nodded and replied, "Okay."
Then, after hanging up the phone, Ivelle looked at Aaron and said, "Sorry, I have something to do. I have to go."
Then she turned straight into the office.
Meanwhile, inside the office...
She saw Jordan leaned lazily on his chair with a Bluetooth headset on his ear. He seemed to be in a meeting. But she also saw the untouched water cup on the table.
Ivelle was speechless for a moment before saying, "Isn't there still water on the cup? Why did you call me here?"
She was a bit irritated at him for acting like a child.
He looked up at me and said, "Felix Stewart just poured it for me. By the way, he brought some cakes. Why don't you cut a slice for me?"
Ivelle frowned and replied, "Well, since he's here, can't he get it all ready for you?"
"He's busy!" And with that, he faced the computer and went on with the meeting.
Ivelle was speechless.
But she still cut a piece of the cake that Felix brought and put it in front of Jordan. Then she said, "Eat!"
Jordan raised his eyebrows at her and asked, "You don't want to eat?"
"I want to lose weight!" Ivelle felt irritated as she said this. She felt even more irritated when she remembered that Jordan had told her that morning that she was fat and yet, he was now telling her to eat these desserts.
Suddenly, Jordan said to the video, "Okay, the meeting is over."
Then he took off his headphones and put them down. He looked at Ivelle and said, "What do you want to eat?"
Ivelle was in disbelief.
She irritably said, "Jordan, I'm at work now!"
Jordan just nodded and said, "Well, I'll just have Felix deliver it."
Ivelle curtly replied, "Not hungry!" She knew the guy was deliberately making all this trouble.
When Jordan saw her like that, he raised his eyebrows and stopped talking. He just put the cake in front of Ivelle, and then his slender fingers tapped slowly on the keyboard. Because his hand was hurt, he typed very slowly and it looked a little awkward.
Ivelle looked at it and opened her mouth. But she resorted to not say anything to help him yet.
All of a sudden, someone knocked on the office door and Jordan said indifferently, "Come in!"
Ivelle saw that the person who came in was Nicole. She was holding an insulated lunch box in her hand. When Nicole saw that Ivelle was there too, she was shocked, but it only took a few seconds. Then she looked at Jordan, looked at his hand with concern, and said, "Brother Jordan, how is your hand? I cooked spareribs soup and brought it for you."
As she said that, she came towards his desk. She put down the lunch box from her hand and opened it. Her movements were gentle and virtuous.
When Jordan saw that it was Nicole, he raised his eyebrow and said, "It's all right, thank you." He said this with calmness but his voice hinted indifference towards Nicole.
When Nicole saw him like this, there was a trace of guilt and remorse on her face when she said, "It's all my fault. I shouldn't have acted childish when you were driving and that got you out of focus. I was wrong. I promise I won't do it again."
Jordan flared his lips and said faintly, "It's all right!"
Nicole looked at him and stood beside him with her hands intertwined. As she watched Jordan tapping the keyboard slowly, she immediately told him, "Brother Jordan, are you sending an email? Why don't you have the soup first? I'll send the email for you."
As Nicole said that, she approached Jordan and was about to take the keyboard from him. Suddenly, Jordan stopped her in her tracks before she could touch the keyboard.
Jordan frowned slightly and he said in a low voice, "This is a company document and it is not suitable for any outsiders to interfere. Everything in here is confidential so you are not allowed to see this!"
Nicole's hands were stiff and it took her a long time before she withdraws her hands. There was a smile on her stiff face that looked somewhat out of place. Then she told Jordan, "It's also right. Most of that is confidential and I shouldn't have touched it. I'm sorry, Brother Jordan. My thoughtlessness got the best of me."
Jordan said faintly, "It's all right."
The moment Nicole came, Ivelle had wanted to do something for him, but she happened to have nothing to do. Now, she saw that she could already go out and do her work. But before she could open her mouth, she saw that Jordan looked up and then looked at her. Suddenly, Jordan told her, "Ivelle, come and send these documents for me."
Ivelle froze and asked in disbelief, "Am I not inappropriate for that? Besides, I can't type very fast."
But Jordan just said, "It's all right. Just type what I say." And with that, he got up from his position and gave up his seat for Ivelle.
Ivelle frowned. But as soon as she was about to say something, Jordan pulled her into a chair and began to say, "Astley's subsidiary, Samson's Electronics..."
After typing some words, Ivelle couldn't help but looking up at him and ask, "These are all your working documents involving the company's trade secrets, isn't it?"
