###Chapter 611 Someone Who Wants It - Part 5
Ivelle Astley paused and warned Grace Cross, "Grace, you have to be careful when you go out these days. I met Michael Broom yesterday. He told me that Kenneth Parks came to Spain. We may not be safe!"
Grace was surprised to hear this and replied, "Why would Kenneth come to Spain? My grandfather said that the A City Police Department and the Venezuelan police joined hands to arrest him. I thought he was hiding in some mountain on the border, but I didn't expect he was in A City!"
Ivelle herself was stupefied for a moment. She was a little confused when she asked, "Do you mean that Kenneth can no longer live in Venezuela?"
Grace replied to her, "I didn't tell you about this. But after we came back from Europe, I told my grandfather about it. Later, my grandfather contacted the A city police and Venezuela to arrest Kenneth. Over the years, he had done a lot of terrible things. There were a lot of people who wanted to mess with him. It was even estimated that his good days have come to an end."
Ivelle could probably imagine why she felt a little embarrassed when she met Michael. She thought that although they came to the country, life on the run was not that hard for them.
She soon hung up with Grace and then she went straight to Preston's Real Estate.
Inside William's office...
Ivelle raised her hand and knocked on the door. Soon, a voice inside said, "Please come in!"
When she pushed open the door and went in, she saw that William was looking down at a file. But it seemed that de did not know what he was looking at. William frowned. When he heard Ivelle's noise, when she came in, he looked up to see who it was. When he saw that it was indeed Ivelle, he paused slightly and said, "Didn't you say you want to rest for a few days? What are you doing here?"
Ivelle found a seat and said, "The project in Cape Oaks is almost done at present. As long as it is checked and accepted, nothing could go wrong with it. Meanwhile, it will be Mid-Autumn Festival soon. I am going to go back to the capital and want to ask for leave for a few days."
William stopped in his tracks and nodded. He then said to Ivelle, "Well, it just so happened that I plan to go back, too. However, with regard to the acceptance, you have to check it with a third party in advance. And if it is necessary, call a representative from the Astley Group to take a look at the security situation everywhere. At this point, I am worried that the people from the high ranks will make a surprise inspection. If that happens and if they're also exist any problem, then it will be too late for us to change it. If all three of us are sure that there is no problem, then we can defend with confidence if something unusual came up."
Ivelle nodded and agreed. With this kind of project, what they must worry about and fear the most was the hidden security danger. Because a holiday was coming soon, they must make sure that nothing will accidentally happen. It was only natural that they would check in advance.
"Okay, I'll inform the Astley Group and a third party to go to Cape Oaks tomorrow to check on the project again." After a pause, Ivelle also asked, "By the way, are you going back to the capital during the Mid-Autumn Festival?"
He leaned back, nodded, and said, "Of course I'm going back. By the way, about that sandalwood box. When you get back to the capital, you should keep your promise and give it to me."
Ivelle nodded. When she was in Denmark, she promised him that she would repay William for saving her life with the sandalwood box. As long as he could bring all of them back home, the sandalwood box would be his. But recently, because of her work and the other events in her personal life, she didn't have the chance to give the box to him.
When she remembered her encounter with Michael, Ivelle paused and warned William, "Be extra careful when you go out these days. Kenneth could be in City A. He is desperate. I'm afraid he'll retaliate!"
William turned his pen's hand slightly, and his black eyes fell on Ivelle. He raised his eyebrows and asked her, "How did you know that Kenneth came to A City?"
Ivelle frowned for a moment and replied, "You already know?"
William sat up straight, looked at Ivelle, smiled, and told her, "I've been through it more or less. I don't know if it makes sense."
Ivelle nodded and said nothing more. After all, William was a man. Moreover, Ivelle's bodyguards followed her at any time. Even if Kenneth wanted to take revenge, it would not be that easy.
With that, Ivelle didn't stay any longer. She went back to her office and cleaned up. She was scheduled to have a rest today. She came here, especially because she wanted to go back to the capital.
When the matter was over, she naturally had nothing else to do. So, she just prepared to go back to the villa.
She was planning on taking a walk. But because of what happened with Michael yesterday, she was more or less worried. After all, the other party was in the dark, and no one knew what would happen all of a sudden.
She didn't drive when she came out, and it was difficult for her to take a taxi downstairs. That was why she had to walk a few hundred meters to get a taxi.
City An was an extreme city with a wide gap between the rich and the poor. It was probably because of the sky-high house prices and extremely low wages. The average house price was 30,000 dollars while the per capita wage was only about 3,000 to 5,000 dollars. There was no doubt that the price was extremely high. Because of this, many people who lived in this city could neither afford to buy a house nor save money. This dragged themselves down day after day.
But despite that fact, people were still crowded into the city because the city had four distinct seasons and the air was still fresh.
Ivelle was a person who was extremely easy to get distracted. She originally planned to walk hundreds of meters before taking a taxi, but she unexpectedly walked a long way than she should have. When she saw that the road was a little strange, she went back the same way she had walked earlier.
Suddenly she heard a voice in the alley that said, "Ugly, I think you were smuggled here. You're smelly and ugly rubbish!" Ivelle immediately looked sideways subconsciously.
She saw a group of gangsters that seemed to be bullying someone. Ivelle couldn't help but take a look at this group of children. They all looked like they were 15 or 16 years old, probably teenagers who dropped out of school early.
Ivelle also saw a teenager that was carrying a bucket of something. This teenager shouted excitedly to the other teenagers around the group, "Get out of the way, here comes the main course!"
Then Ivelle saw that several children scattered back. Meanwhile, the boy with the bucket poured out all the water in the bucket towards the man who was squatting on the ground. Soon, all the water in the bucket was spilled on the person sitting on the ground and he was drenched.
After that, the group of gangsters around the man all laughed loudly.
Ivelle frowned and her eyes fell on the man sitting on the ground. The man's head was buried on his knees. He looked like a strong man, but his skin was dark, his clothes were messy and shattered, and he looked a little embarrassed.
The man looked like a tramp, and when Ivelle saw that the children seemed to be going to splash him with water again, she couldn't stop herself from shouting, "Here comes the police!"
After all, they were all just teenagers. When they heard what she said, they all left immediately.
The man probably heard the sound around him had dissipated. Slowly, he raised his head and stared straight ahead. His eyes were cold and indifferent and did not appear that he was being bullied a while ago.
Seeing the man's appearance clearly, Ivelle couldn't help being stunned. Her heart thumped for a while. She couldn't believe it was actually Michael. She couldn't also believe how could he be so embarrassed.
After a moment of hesitation, she walked towards the alley.
Probably when he heard Ivelle's footsteps, he looked back in her direction vigilantly and seemed to be stunned when he saw that it was actually Ivelle.
Ivelle opened her mouth and asked, "You. Are you all right?"
