###Chapter 612 Someone Who Wants It - Part 6
Michael Broom looked back, looked down, and wrung the moisture off of his shabby clothes. Then he faintly told Ivelle, "I'm good!"
Ivelle curled her lips and took a long breath as she felt her heart was blocked.
When she touched the bag in her hand, she took her wallet out. She realized that she didn't have much cash. But she took out all of it. Then she put her phone number, together with the money in front of Michael. Then she told him, "Take these first. I am also giving you my number. If you want my help, you can call me at any time."
But instead of reaching for the money, Michael just looked up at Ivelle. So, Ivelle just put the money and her phone number next to him and left without leaving.
It was not that Ivelle didn't have any kindness for Michael. During those days in Denmark, although Michael did not help her openly, he gave Ivelle some water in private. Without Michael, Ivelle might not have been able to return home safely.
When she took a taxi back to the villa, Jordan was reading in the gazebo in the courtyard. She saw him when she entered the door. But she saw that he just looked down at the book in his hand and didn't look up at her.
It was already noon. She paused and went back to the living room. She saw that there was a lot of food in the fridge.
When she was able to choose from these, she simply fried a few dishes and ate some by herself. Then, she went straight back to the bedroom afterward. She originally wanted to read a book, but after a while, she was too sleepy and fell asleep immediately.
Ivelle didn't wake up until the late afternoon. When she finally woke up, she went downstairs and saw that the food on the table had been collected. It seemed that it had been taken care of.
Because she had just woken up, she was still not that aware of her surroundings. Soon, she realized that no one was in the villa with her. She sat in the living room for a while and then went straight back to her bedroom. After sleeping for a day, she couldn't go back to sleep.
It was dark and thunderous, and it didn't take long for it to rain. As soon as it rained, she knew that it was late autumn. The rain at night was a little cold which made the temperature in the room lower.
Blossom called her and she still talking to Ivelle about what happened at school during the day. Everything was all trivial and there was nothing much. The child's biological clock was very accurate, and soon, she became sleepy.
After hanging up the phone, Ivelle slept all night. But naturally, she couldn't continue to sleep. As she thought of going to Cape Oaks to check the project tomorrow, she edited a text message she would send to Director Linda Kent and Aaron Badger. She would inform them to check the safety of the project tomorrow.
In the middle of the night, she heard the sound of the engine downstairs. And she didn't have to think too much about it to know that Jordan was back. She laid on the bed with her eyes closed. She was unhappy with Jordan these days that was why she knew that they just would inevitably quarrel with each other if they talked. So, Ivelle just fell asleep to save the trouble.
Then she heard the room door opened. It was followed by the bedside lamp that was turned on. Soon, there was the sound of water coming from the bathroom. Then she felt the force of the bed being pressed down next to her.
Suddenly, Jordan hugged her around her waist and her attention was caught by his breathing. She didn't expect that he would suddenly hug her. She couldn't help but collapse and Jordan was probably aware that she was still awake.
She heard his low voice in her ear, "Still up?"
Ivelle sighed to herself because she couldn't hold it any longer. She just mumbled, "Yes."
The lamp on the bedside table was not turned off, and she suddenly found herself face to face with him. Jordan looked at her intently and asked, "You want us to talk?"
And Ivelle immediately knew he was referring to last night.
Ivelle pursed her lips and said faintly, "What do you want to talk about?"
"Why didn't you answer my call yesterday? Who is the man you saw in the alley?" And with that, he looked at Ivelle with a calm face.
"As I said, my cell phone is off and the man in the alley is an old friend!" Ivelle thought that it wouldn't make much sense for Jordan to know or not to know about Michael. So, he might as well not know about him.
Jordan squinted slightly and he was vaguely unhappy. He then told her, "Ivelle, I said, don't lie to me. I don't like it!"
Ivelle looked at him and she suddenly sneered before saying, "Am I lying to you? Who lied to whom? Jordan, I'd like to ask, where were you the night I was in the morgue? Who are you with?"
He curled his lips and was a little unhappy. He replied to her, "Why did you bring it up all of a sudden? Why are we suddenly talking about that night?"
Ivelle laughed and said, "Why can't you talk about it today? Why are you still talking about what happened yesterday? You can avoid the topic but I can't?" Ivelle didn't know why she was angry, but whenever she thought that he was with Nicole that night, her heart ached. She thought that he was busy at work, so he specially sent her some hairy crabs. Now that she thought about it, she finds it ridiculous. Jordan and Nicole were happily talking and laughing, while she was unwittingly waiting for him at home.
Jordan took a deep breath and he looked obviously unhappy. Then he told her, "Ivelle, do we have to communicate with guns and sticks like this?"
Ivelle angrily replied, "We don't have to communicate!" She thought that since no one was willing to talk, it was better to be silent. After all, the silence was not a big deal.
When Ivelle turned her back on him, she was no longer in the mood. She was full of gas in her stomach and she couldn't vent it. She felt really uncomfortable as she tried to contain it, and she couldn't sleep.
When Ivelle noticed that his hand was moving on her, she became even angrier. She lifted the quilt, sat up from the bed, and glared at him. Then she said, "If you are wanted a woman to satisfy your desire now, you can just call Miss Nicole. I am sure she would be very willing to serve you. If you won't tell me the truth, then I don't want to give in to you!"
And with that, she picked up his cell phone and dialed Nicole's number directly. Then Jordan looked at Ivelle, his black eyes were hostile and cold when he said, "Ivelle, what are you talking about?"
Ivelle replied, "Find someone who can satisfy you!" After saying that, she could hear Nicole's phone rang a few times. Finally, her call connected and Nicole asked from the other end of the line, "What's the matter?"
"As you wish Miss Nicole, your dear brother Jordan needs you very much at this time. Please come to our house. If you need money, I will transfer it to you!" Ivelle was so angry that she felt as if there was no limitation to what she could do.
But Nicole who was on the other end of the line was confused for a moment. Then she got a little angry and said, "Ivelle, what are you doing? You should know that there is a limitation for insulting people, okay?"
Ivelle sneered and replied, "Is the money not enough? Are you actually saying that after all these years of giving you the living expenses of the rich, it is not enough for you to stay with him for one night? Didn't you say you love him? Why can't you come when he needs you now?"
Nicole tried to reply, "Ivelle, you---" But she didn't hear the rest of what she said because Jordan had snatched the phone, threw it away, and smashed it to the ground. The phone broke into several pieces.
Then they looked at each other. Jordan's eyes sparkled with anger. Although he was so good at concealing his emotions, he could not control the expression on his face.
Jordan suddenly sneered and coldly told Ivelle, "Why are you insulting her? If you are angry at me, then vent your anger on me. If you don't want me to touch you, then you can just tell me directly. What did she do to you for you to hurt her so recklessly?"
But Ivelle looked at him without the slightest hint of fear and said, "Distressed? Jordan, are you still distressed because I did something wrong? Isn't her presence the one that you need now? Do you dislike me for piercing the unwillingness that you have hidden from her for many years? What am I to you Jordan? A substitute where you don't have the mental burden to rub your face and pretend to love? Or am I just a tool you use to express hypocrisy?"
