###Chapter 75 You Wipe My Hair
###Chapter 75 You Wipe My Hair
In the wardrobe, Ivelle Astley only put the clothes she usually wore. She didn't know when Jordan Astley moved in.
That was all. Their relationship was nothing more than a quarrel, and it didn't make any sense.
After drying her hair, she went to bed.
It had been half an hour since Jordan finished taking a bath. He came out with a cold vapor, scrubbed himself hastily with a bath towel, lifted the quilt, and laid down.
She didn't like this kind of wet feeling. She moved to the side wrapped in the quilt and was swept over by Jordan with the quilt. "Don't always avoid me. It's still a long life. Do we have to treat each other so coldly?"
His tone was less cold than usual and a little more helpless.
"I'm not avoiding you. You're wet!" She opened her mouth, feeling a little sleepy.
Jordan loosened up with her and reached over the bath towel he had just thrown aside. "You wipe it."
"Dry up!" She turned over and pulled the quilt to rest.
He laid down again, his arm around her waist. "Come and wipe it for me later!"
She was silent and felt a little uncomfortable. "Jordan, you feel guilty about me, don't you? It's because of guilt so you want to get close to me and make it up to me!"
There was some scattered stillness in the air. She closed her eyes and felt something unspeakable in her heart. Could people go on just by feeling guilty?
"Not anymore!" His low voice was heard in her ear, and he kissed her gently on the shoulder. "I'll do it!"
She didn't speak. She didn't know what to say.
Time went by and she was hugged by him. She couldn't sleep. She heard the sound of his breathing. Listening to the rhythm, she should have fallen asleep.
She turned over and raised her hand to take away his hand on her lower abdomen. She didn't want to be held by him. She twisted her eyebrow and said, "Jordan, I can't sleep like this."
"Hmm!" He answered.
When she was pressed by him, she couldn't help but open her eyes and look at the man close at hand, in a very low voice, "Jordan, I can't sleep like this."
"When you get used to it, you will fall asleep." He opened his mouth and opened his black eyes, looking a little tired. "Good boy. You'll fall asleep in a minute."
God knew how excruciating this was.
Closing her eyes slightly, it was a good thing that it wasn't long before she fell asleep.
That night, she slept a little tired. She was awakened by Jordan early. She opened her eyes vaguely and saw that he was breathing a little short of breath.
In hindsight, she found that he was holding her hand.
Waking up, she called out. "Jordan!"
After a long while, he picked her up across the way into the bathroom, put her by the sink, hugged her from behind and washed her by the hand, in a low, soft voice, "Go to sleep later."
She nodded. It was only six o'clock in the morning. Normally, she won't wake up. After washing, Jordan put her back to bed.
Then he dropped a kiss on her forehead and said, "Get some sleep!" With that, he changed his clothes and left the room.
It wasn't long before the car started downstairs.
She didn't say she had enough sleep. Not long after Jordan left, she fell asleep again.
When she woke up again, it was already nine o'clock. As soon as she opened her eyes, Jordan called.
She laid down, picked up the phone, and said, "Hello!"
"Are you awake?" The man on the other end of the phone seemed to be in a good mood.
"Hmm!"
"Get up and have breakfast. I'll wait for you at the office."
She was stunned so she instinctively said, "I'll eat at home."
"Felix Stewart is waiting for you downstairs." He opened his mouth, and there was a faint knock on the door. He was supposed to be doing something else. Sure enough, after a while he said, "I'll wait for you!"
Then he hung up the phone.
She laid down and relaxed for a while. After washing, she went downstairs and saw Marcela making tea. Felix sat grimly in a suit in the living room.
When she saw her, Marcela smiled and said, "Ivelle, Mr. Astley asked Assistant Silverman to pick you up for breakfast."
After a glance, Marcela seemed unprepared. Jordan should have explained it in advance.
Ivelle nodded and left the villa.
She arrived at the office.
Felix took her directly to Jordan's office, then poured her a glass of water. Felix left. Jordan was still holding a video conference.
When he saw her coming in, he got up and walked up to her. Out of nowhere, he put a plate of cranberries in front of her, kissed her on the forehead, and went on with the meeting.
Not long after she got up, she had no appetite. She sat on the sofa and looked at her mobile phone for a while. It didn't last long before Jordan ended the meeting.
He sat next to her and said, "Are you hungry?"
She shook her head and put her phone away. He called Felix, then took her hand, rubbed her fingertips, and raised the corners of her mouth. "Are your hands still sore?"
She had some hindsight, and it was only then that she understood what he meant. Her face was a little hot, and she withdrew her hand. "What are we going to eat?"
"You'll see in a minute!" He stretched out his hand, wrapped her in his arms, and pressed her head against his heart.
She didn't get used to it. She wanted to pull back from being wrapped around her waist by him. "Let me hold you for a while."
Felix came in with a bag that had many small boxes in it. He put the bag on the table and left.
Jordan called in. She knew he was busy so she took out all the boxes, which were pastries and porridge from Wellspring.
She had a few small bites and saw that Jordan was very busy. She didn't disturb him either. She was ready to go back to her office to work.
It was normal to meet Nicole Blakely, and she was not surprised. She was carrying a food box in her hand, which seemed to be a food delivery for Jordan.
When Nicole saw Ivelle coming out of Jordan's office, she stretched out her arm and stood in her way. "What are you doing here?"
That was what she asked.
Looking at her, Ivelle raised her eyebrows. "Miss Blakely, you just put on a famous brand and a famous watch, and you already appear as if you were the only one in the world."
Sure enough, she had become a young lady, and her momentum was different.
"Yes, I am. I am nobler than you, as only I can speak carefully." There was an air of arrogance on her face.
Ivelle was not in the mood to be messed with so she said lightly, "Well, you guys are perfect for each other!"
With that, she staggered her and got ready to go back to the office.
Unfortunately, when she went out in the morning, she wore three centimeters of high heels, and there were two welcome pines at the door of Jordan's office. In order to distance herself from Nicole, she forgot to step under her feet.
So, she stumbled, and she walked in a hurry. She didn't have time to stand still, so she jumped forward.
Instinctively, she reached out to pull what she could. Nicole was close to her, so she pulled her out, but she stepped on seven centimeters of high heels and fell with her.
