###Chapter 97 Something Happened To Jordan
###Chapter 97 Something Happened To Jordan
She was woken up by the phone call in the middle of the night. Even if she was so tired, Ivelle I picked up the phone and got through without seeing the caller ID clearly.
"Hello?"
"Excuse me, are you Ivelle Astley, Jordan's wife?" The voice on the other end of the phone inquired.
She answered and subconsciously looked at the time on her mobile phone. It was already two o'clock in the morning. How could anyone call her at this point?
"Who are you?"
"Hello, Miss Ivelle. Mr. Astley encountered an accident on Madrid Airlines flight H898 from Greenville to Madrid yesterday. He is now being rescued in the Capital People's Hospital. Please come here. We need his family to sign some documents."
Ivelle suddenly sat up straight from the bed and there was buzz in her head.
'Plane accident? How could he be in it?'
For a moment, there were no other thoughts in her mind. She didn't know what to say on the other end of the phone, so she answered that she'll immediately go there.
But for a long time, Ivelle did not know what to do. Her hands trembled when she browsed through her phone book to find Jordan's number. She dialed for a long time, but his phone was still off.
She called Felix Stewart. I didn't know if it was too late and there was no answer. It was the same with Kian Hastings.
Care is chaotic, out of line.
Ivelle called Nicole directly. Fortunately, the phone line was soon connected and the person at the other end of the phone burst into tears. "Ivelle, where are you? Brother Jordan had an accident. Come quickly! "
"What's the matter? Where is he?" She calmed down, tightly held the phone by the palm of her hand and asked in a low voice.
"He was supposed to send me here, but when the plane made an emergency landing he was trying to protect me, so..." She cried a little loudly. "My parents also went into the emergency room. The hospital asked you to sign. I was wrong. I will never argue with you about him again. As long as he is alive, I can do anything."
Ivelle didn't listen to the latter's words for she thought that it wasn't necessary.
When she hung up the phone, she couldn't help feeling like there was something stuck in her heart.
At this time, she completely lost her sleepiness. She got out of bed and walked around a few times, but her mood calmed down. Ivelle called Maisie.
She didn't answer and then decided to call Parker directly.
Although very surprised, the man unexpectedly answered. "It's three o'clock in the morning, Ivelle. Don't tell me that you miss me so call me at this time."
"I'd like to ask, where is Miss Erin Wesley now?" She doesn't trust Nicole, that is why she made sure.
"In the evening, Andrew Biden sent Nicole to the capital. By the way, your man seems to have been there, too." Ivelle guessed he hasn't slept all the time. He still has a bit of drowsiness in his voice and she heard the sound of the keyboard on the phone.
She frowned and suppressed the depression in her heart. "Did someone from the capital call you to be safe?"
"What do you want to tell me about and disturb my peace in the middle of the night?" He raised his voice jokingly. "It's nothing. What's the reward?"
"I mean, your mother Erin. Didn't she give you a message? Have they arrived safely?" Ivelle knew a limited number of people in their group, so she can only ask Parker.
He snapped it on the computer and said. "For more than 20 years, she will never take the initiative to talk to me about anything, let alone talk to me about such trivial things. What are you going to ask me especially when you call in the middle of the night?"
"I got a message that there was something wrong with their plane. Could you check it for me?" At a time like this, only he can check.
The man on the other end of the phone was silent for a moment and then said. "Well, I'll check it!"
He hung up the phone and Ivelle had to wait quietly.
When she got out of the bedroom and went downstairs, Jordan was not there. She felt a little free and turned on all the lights in the villa.
Ivelle watched the news in the capital with her mobile phone. She rummaged through it for a long time, but she couldn't find anything.
About 15 minutes later, Parker called and just got through to him. "I've booked a flight at seven o'clock in the morning. Will you go there with me?"
Her heart thumped and I said. "I'll go!" For a moment, it was as if her body lost its strength and it was difficult to breathe.
Ivelle's brain buzzed. She couldn't spit out what she wanted to ask and her words was in her throat.
For a long time, Parker, who was at the other end of the phone said. "It should be all right, but when the plane drops rapidly at the airport, it would bump and collide, so don't worry too much."
She nodded and composed her voice. "Well, I see. I'll see you in the morning!"
After hanging up the phone, she couldn't fall asleep. Ivelle sat around in the hall, felt empty and observed that the house was a little bigger now that Jordan wasn't with her.
In such a big house, there was an echo every time she said a word. The loneliness was uncomfortable.
Four hours, she just thought that fro long and pondered hard.
As the time was about to ticked on dawn, Ivelle packed up some things. She took her ID card and some personal belongings, and hurriedly went out the door.
Parker came earlier than her. When she got to the airport, he already picked up his ticket.
There are not many people at the airport in the morning, and most of them are in a hurry.
When he saw her, Parker looked up at his watch and said. "There is still half an hour left. Let's go through the security check first."
When she saw that he looked so haggard, Ivelle couldn't help but say. "Did you stay up all night?"
He glanced at her and raised his eyebrows. "Aren't you, too?"
She was stupefied but I didn't say much. She acquiesced at that time.
There were not many people from the security check and it was not long before we arrived. Parker and Ivelle handed the ID card and ticket to the security personnel. The security officer looked at her a few times and compared the ID card with her several times. His expression was a little strange. "Ivelle Astley?"
She nodded and saw that Parker had passed the security check and looked at the staff and urged him to say. "Can you hurry up? We are in a hurry."
For a long time, the security officer looked at her and said. "Sorry, Miss Ivelle. You have to cooperate with us."
Before she knew it, two young men in police uniforms came up to her then grabbed Ivelle left and right and brought her out.
Parker followed them out as he blocked the two. Somewhat, he was confused and said. "Comrade policeman, what's going on?"
"We are from the Bureau of Industry and Commerce. At present, we have received a report that Astley is suspected of manipulating the black market. That is why Miss Astley, you need to come with us."
With that, the two took her away.
She have no idea what's going on.
Parker grabbed one of them and said. "There's nothing wrong with the Astley Group. What are you doing with her? She is only a small staff member, you should find Astley's legal representative!"
"Sir, please do not interfere with the performance of our official duties. Miss Ivelle is an employee of the Astley's company and the wife of Jordan. At the same time, most of Astley's documents are signed by her. This matter is directly related to her. Sir, if you have any questions, you can hire a lawyer. Don't interfere with our official duties here."
She didn't feel it clearly for a moment, but her mind was clear. He looked at Parker and said. "Don't worry, I'll go to the capital to see the specific situation before I make a plan."
If Astley has an accident and Jordan is not here, Ivelle won't be gone at this time. Then, something big happened.
She doesn't know if Kian and Felix can hold it down.
As she went with the police and came to the inquiry room, the interrogator was a middle-aged woman who sat opposite her. Her face was serious and calm. "Miss Ivelle, I'm sorry to bring you here, thinking that you are related with some legal issues and you are directly involved. So, next I need to have a recorded conversation with you. I hope you can cooperate with my work."
