Chapter 49
The day after tomorrow will finally be Quinn and Tyler’s wedding. I didn’t even leave the estate just so nothing bad happens again.
I used to love walking but now I didn’t want to go out. I let myself busy with working out. Apparently, this huge mansion has a gym so I made use of it- which made Nile happier and more sexually active.
He said I became more attractive, especially my body. Sometimes I wonder if he really loves me or just my body. I mean the man was obviously insatiable. I think the maids here knew what we were always doing when Nile was so obvious about it. He can’t seem to keep his hands off me and always seduced me.
Just what the hell is going on with this guy? He’s taking advantage of the fact that his parents aren’t here. He's obviously become addicted to the said activity. I’m spent but I love it either way. I’m not going to give him the privilege of knowing that.
I went down for brunch since I woke up pretty late. Nile left to get something from his office and then come back right away.
Ever since I told him to stay, he’s been working at home since then. Although I told him that I don’t mind anymore if he goes to his company to work. He still insisted on staying with me. I appreciate his thoughtfulness but it makes me feel guiltier by the day. And besides, the nightmare didn’t come back which is good. Hopefully, it won’t ever return.
I heard people talking from the living room so I went there to check who’s the guest before proceeding to the dining room.
My blood boiled when I saw the said guest, sitting on the couch. It was the same woman who came here not long ago. Her legs were crossed gracefully while drinking probably a cup of tea.
Does she always visit Nile here?
She was startled when she saw me. I raised a brow while watching her. She placed the cup on the center table and obviously wore a fake smile when she looked at me. I crossed my arms in return.
“Hello. I am waiting for Nile. He wasn’t in his office when I went there.” She spoke with all her fakeness.
So if Nile isn’t in the office, she comes here? How often does she come here?
“Who are you?” There was arrogance in the tone of my voice but that was unintentional, I promise.
“I am Christina Lowell. My father, James Lowell, if you knew him, works with Nile.” She spoke with pride with head held high. She stood and reached out her hand, offering me to shake it as an introduction.
I ignored it.
“What are you doing here instead of your father then?” My question took her off guard. “Do you have business with him?”
Her mask finally fell off. She glared at me before speaking. “Who are you to question me anyway?”
“Good question.” I pointed out. “I’m the one who’s going to kick you out of this property.”
She scowled. “Really? Who really are you, huh? I haven’t seen you before. You don’t look like one of the Veselovs. Look at your poor self. Just because you find yourself comfortable here, you act like some hostess. I tell you, you bitch.” She steps towards me threateningly. “I am the future hostess here. I will be the one to kick you out.”
“Nice. I'll make sure to tell Nile that someone wants to marry him. After we've had our fill of course.” I winked which obviously irritated her.
She suddenly grabbed my arm tightly. Her fingers dug my skin and it fucking hurt. I clenched my fist and gritted my teeth in restraint. “You’re just some whore. Once he’s done with you, he’ll be running after me. Not some lowlife like you.”
Oh, Nile Veselov, you’re fucking screwed.
“Remove your fucking hand, sweetie. Don’t make me do it.” I said through gritted teeth.
She smirked arrogantly and held her hand even tighter against my arm. Bitch.
I grabbed her wrist, whirled her around and twisted it behind her. She screamed like a fucking stray cat. “Let go of me, you bitch!” She whined and yelled in pain which made me tighten my grip even more.
“Say sorry. I might even try to loosen the grip.” I muttered against her ear, taunting her.
She was trying to brush me off but she couldn’t. She was shaking and whining. Tears started to pool in her eyes. “Bitch! Let go! You will answer to my father. I swear I’m going to ruin your life, you scum!” She screamed when I readjusted my hand so she could feel even more pain.
After all the workout these past few days, I knew I was strong, especially I was practicing a bit of boxing. I was only trying to remember some moves but I didn’t know it could be of use now.
“One word, princess, you won’t feel the pain anymore.”
When her mouth opened, I made sure to worsen her pain and she finally relented.
“I’m sorry.” She cried.
“Good girl.” I loosened my grip.
“Why aren’t you letting me go?” She asked while brushing me off.
“You want me to let you go? Then repeat every word I say. ‘I won’t come near Nile ever again.”
“You’re- Ahh!”
“Seven fucking words, princes. That’s all it takes.”
“You tricked me!” Her high pitched voice was deafening.
I rolled my eyes. “Listen here. you brat. I only said I might loosen the grip. I’ll let you go if you say this seven fucking words!”
“What’s going on here?”
Fuck.
But I still didn’t let her go and steadied my grip.
Nile sauntered towards us while wondering what’s happening.
“Nile!” She annoyingly whined. “This witch is hurting me. She’s not letting me go.”
I shrugged with nonchalance. “I’m enjoying breaking her arm.”
“Kura, let her go.” He said. It’s a good thing he sounded like he’s not concerned or I swear he’s going to join this brat.
“Not until she’ll say the words.”
“No! Let me go!” She was shaking wildly like a fish out of water.
“Just say the words, Christina and she’ll let you go. You don’t know how stubborn that woman is.”
I grinned mischievously.
“You don’t even know what I have to say.” Nile rubbed his hand over his face in frustration. “She wants me to stay away from you- Ahh! It hurts!”
“Kura-”
“No! I won’t let her go unless she says the magic words. Got that, princess? We can do this all day.” I shifted my attention to Nile. “You can go upstairs and rest, my love. I’m going to fuck you later.” Although my voice sounded sweet, I was glaring at Nile threateningly. I hope he understood what I meant through those words.
He sighed before started walking.
“Nile, no! Please help me!”
“Seven words.” I said threateningly as I tightened my hold.
“Okay, okay! I won’t come near Nile ever again!”
“Ever?!” I asked with conviction and reassurance.
I threatened her by adjusting my hand so she’ll know I was taking this extra seriously. She was frightened and repeated it to me. “Yes! Ever! I won’t ever approach him. Please let me go.” She cried.
I finally let her go with slight roughness. Tears pooled and spilled from her eyes. It’s a shame that I don’t feel even a little pity.
“You’re going to pay for this!”
I attempted to step towards her. She hurriedly took her bag and scurried her way out of the mansion.
Well, that was satisfying.
“Well, that was a good show.”
Holy shit.
I slowly turned around to the direction of the voice. “Hello, Nile’s mom- I mean Sara- I mean Mrs. Veselov.”
