“You may now kiss the bride!”

Everyone cheered and clapped for the newly weds. The bridesmaids and groomsmen threw white rose petals at them as Quinn and Tyler were having their first kiss.

“My son, where is that smile of yours? It seems you are not happy that Quinn is finally wedded. We’re not in a business meeting. Get rid of that scowl.” My mother reprimanded me as she trailed off from clapping her hands and directed her attention to me.

Her eyebrow raised as she traced the direction of my sight. A sly smirk emitted her face. “Such strange addiction. Well, better than drugs and alcohol, right?”

I turned my attention towards my crafty mother. Her smirk was teasing and provoking. She’s always doing that.

The couple left the aisle with the rest following behind. The guests from their seats continued to throw petals at them while cheering to the newly wedded couple.

My family and I stood at the side while watching the bride and groom having a photoshoot with their family and friends. We were done having pictures with them and congratulated them incessantly. Everyone was truly happy for them.

Our families were close to the Andersons. We were doing business together. There was one time when I thought that I’d be wedded to Quinn. That’s why I thought my mom was tough on women who came after me. It was a fleeting thought but thank god, it didn’t cross their minds.

“Goodness, son, would it kill you to put a smile on that face? This is Quinn’s wedding. It’s as if you’re forced to be here.” My father commented. “Don’t tell me you feel brokenhearted to see her married to another man. Do you have feelings for her? Why didn’t you tell us?”

I rolled my eyes at my father’s blabbering. My mom only chuckled beside him.

“Oh, Nicholai. If you only knew what’s inside of your son’s mind, you’ll question where he got that growing temper.”

Fed up with the two, I left them while they were still talking about me as if I wasn’t right in front of them. I heard my dad calling asking where I was going but I ignored him. My mom’s laugh only intensified my anger.

I stomped my way towards the photographer who couldn’t keep his eyes away from my woman. I saw him approach her and initiate a conversation with her. My blood boiled at the sight.

When I arrived at her side, my hand immediately clamped to her waist. She was caught by surprise but smiled at me with resplendence. My heart and temper calmed down a bit.

I shifted my attention towards the photographer who was obviously flirting with her. His grin faded when he saw me.

I hope as hell he knew me. This is the time that I’m proud of my reputation and name. I can put anyone in their place, especially this mu-dak.

“Can you take photos of us together?” Kura asked him sweetly.

He nodded with slight embarrassment shown to his face. So he did know me. “Yeah, sure. Come, there’s a great spot here.”

He led us somewhere only a few further with flowers as background. We stood and started to pose for the camera. I looked at Kura and realized she was clueless of that man flirting with him. That only lessened my rage. What’s more I could see the excitement in her face that she truly wanted a picture of both of us together.

She looked at me with wonder and curiosity. “What?”

I secured my arm around her waist, grabbed her neck and pulled her close against me. My lips met hers and devoured her hungrily. She froze in surprise but kissed me back nonetheless. Her body arched back as our kiss deepened. She was losing dominance and let herself drown from my passion.

I heard everyone’s different reaction from excitement to shock but I couldn't care less. I want her.

I dragged Kura in haste. She kept questioning where I would take her but I ignored her. There was only one mission in my mind- to find someplace private.

I saw the restroom just a few feet away with a janitor mopping the floor in front of the door.

“Nile, what the fuck!” Kura exclaimed as she tried to pull her hand from mine. Unfortunately for her, she couldn’t.

“Is someone inside?” I asked the janitor.

He was stunned to see me but he nodded quickly.

“Don’t let anyone in. Got that?” I left him no room for reply when I immediately pulled the door open and went inside. I locked it just for extra measure.

“Do you even realize that this is a female’s restroom?” She sassed with crossed arms.

I reached out and grabbed her, kissing her fervidly.

She moaned before speaking between our kisses. “The reception will start soon.”

I pushed her towards the sink. Her butt meeting the marble.

“We’ll be quick.” I whispered between our lips.

She removed her lips from mine and stared at me incredulously. “In here?” I stared at her longingly with hooded eyes. Kura giggled. “You really have changed, Nile Veselov-”

“Less talking and more fucking, yeah?” Her eyes rolled back heavenward when my fingers traced her entrance, teasing it by pushing and pulling slowly.
