Doctor Kedeva
I shook my head and glared hard at Dr. Kedeva, not believing that he had the guts to lie on my face given the fact that he sucked at doing it. He thought that I wasn't aware that he and the librarian had sent shadows after Kiara, something I had known since last week.
“Foolish.“ I mutered under my breath and leaned on the chair's backrest to relax my back. The kick Alpha Maseno had given me when I was about to pass out had left a bruise that ached like there was no other day when I sat upright for too long.
“Did you say something, Kelvin?“ He tore his gaze from the phone in his hands and faced me in question.
“Why are you naked?“ I smirked instead and let my gaze linger all over his body.
“I wasn't. I just tore my clothes into pieces.“ He waved his hand in the air, then rolled his eyes as a way of not wanting to talk about it.
“Why did you tear them? Don't tell me you knew I was coming, and that's why you did this." I raised my brow suggestively, wanting to tease him.
He chuckled and shook his head. "No, it's not because of that. I had a little accident, and that caused me to lose my temper. Don't think much into it." He shrugged nonchalantly, trying to downplay the situation.
"Really? Why do I have a feeling that you did this to please me?"I crossed my arms, giving him a skeptical look.
He furrowed his brows, a hint of frustration flashing across his face. He took a deep breath and looked at me in the eyes as if saying, 'Stop it or else we will have a bigger problem.'
"Stop giving me that look and admit it already." I pressed on with the conversation, determined to get on his nerves.
He let out a sigh, his shoulders slumping slightly. "You won't be happy if you don't succeed in getting on my nerves, right?" I could see a slight smirk forming on his lips as he challenged me. "But trust me, trying to annoy me won't lead to the outcome you desire."
I nodded my head and hummed, "I'll take that as a yes, then." I leaned back in my chair and crossed my arms in defeat.
"A yes for what?" He tilted his head with a smirk, playing on his lips as he pretended that he wasn't aware of my previous statement.
I smirked back at him, knowing that he was just trying to play mind games. "A yes for the fact that you undressed because you were aware of my arrival at the pack and that I wouldn't leave without paying you a visit," I replied confidently. "But don't worry; I won't tell anyone. I'll keep it as our little secret." I winked.
“Fuck off.“ He laughed while shaking his head in disbelief. “Believe it or not, I tore them when my short temper got the best of me.“
“Mmh, and here I thought that you wanted to make my work easier.“ I smacked my lips together and raised an eyebrow. "But I guess I'll have to find another way to keep you on your toes," I said playfully. "Although, I must admit, the torn clothes do add a certain... intrigue."
“Kelvin.“ He called, a death glare piercing my direction and a warning growl pressing in his voice. He shouldn't have done that. When I tease someone and they get affected, I always take that chance as a go-ahead.
“What? It's not like we have never done it before.“ I responded, and he blushed a bit. Did he blush? I saw a reddish blur on his cheeks, which warmed up a little bit and then returned to his normal skin color.
It was a rare sight to see him flustered, and it only fueled my mischievous nature. However, beneath his embarrassment, there was a flicker of amusement in his eyes, hinting that he might be enjoying our banter more than he let on.
When he caught me stairing at him, he cleared his throat, and getting a grip on himself, he accused, “I was drunk and you took advantage of me; in fact, don't remind me of that night or else I'll..." He clicked while pointing his index finger at me as a warning.
“Or else what?" I smirked and stretched a bit before leaning on the table using my elbows. I wasn't going to stop teasing him anytime soon, and I hoped that he knew that.
“You don't want to know what I'll do to you, Kelvin. Believe me. I've seen the darkness in me, and it's not something you want to experience." His voice was laced with a chilling threat as he leaned in closer, his eyes burning with a mix of anger and something else I couldn't quite decipher. "And also, I don't see the need for you to talk about this, yet you took advantage of me. So loose of you!" he snarled.
“I didn't take advantage of you, Kedeva. I would have agreed to that if I had excreted my hormones, but I didn't. They were natural desires.“ I explained things to him.
And it's true; I wasn't lying. That night, after he left the restaurant, I followed him behind. He was leaning on his car, lighting up a cigar. Although his eyes lingered on the bright sky as he looked at the bright moon and stars, he seemed distant.
I even saw a tear slipping out of his eyes, which he was quick to wipe away. It was then that I realized the pain he was hiding beneath his tough exterior.
He seemed really low, so I went and tried to strike up a conversation with him so as to lighten his mood. It was in his drunken state that he asked me to touch him.
I refused at first, but he insisted, saying that he was low and that he wanted something to lift his mood.
"In fact, the truth is that you raped me.“ I accused. I guess my words took him by surprise because he chocked, spitting out the water he was drinking.
“Should I remind you?“ I leaned back in the chair and shiveled on it.
He blinked his eyes rapily and shaked his head in denial. “I am sure it's the other way around. "You are the one who raped me, isn't it?" He swept his gaze over my face, waiting for my response. When I failed to respond, he rose from his chair and banged his fists on the table. “You son of a bitch, you raped me, didn't you?" He clenched his fist and then opened it to point a finger at me.
“Nay. I didn't.“ I raised my hands, not affected by his sudden outburst. “That day you were smoking, and when I came to join you, you said that you felt low and that I should help to lift your mood. Don't you remember grabbing my hand and directing it your..." I trailed and swept my gaze on his lower region.
“Ah, Kelvin!" he yelled, palming his face. “Don't you feel shy talking about that? How do you do it with a straight face?“ He sighed and then sat back in his chair. “Now, let's not talk about that. Tell me the reason why you are here."He changed the conversation.
I chuckled, knowing that I had won, and then, responding to his question, I said, "I am waiting for Alpha Maseno to get out of the meeting room. I have an unfinished business with him.“
“I can see you aren't satisfied with the blows you have been given. Here, let me check your nose for you.“ He rose from his seat and came toward me.
He stood in front of me and raised my head so that I could look up at him and examine my nose. “Not so bad. He knew what he was doing.“ He chuckled and returned to grab some iodine and a ball of cotton.
He started by wiping the blood clots off the wound using spirit, dabbing an iodide cotton on it, and then applying some white stuff, which he said would aid in making the wound dry. “Since you aren't that badly hurt, it'll take just a few days for you to heal. I'll now look at your head to see if you sustained any injuries.“
“Of course.“ I titled my head downward so that he could get access to my head. Since he was standing in front of me and he had no clothes on but only the thin fabric on his lower body, I could see his manhood since the cloth was almost transparent.
A dirty thought crossed my head, and I wrapped my hands around his waist and pulled him closer to me. I made sure that my lips brushed his manhood when I mumbled a sorry.
“No problem," he chuckled nervously. “Uh, maybe I should stand behind you.“ He said this while trying to unwrap my hands around his waist.
“Are you afraid that you'll start reacting if we remain like this for so long?“ I raised my head to tease him again.
He sighed, shook his head, and threatened, “I'll leave you with your injuries if you don't stop sputtering out nonsense.“
