Sitting on a couch alone sipping a wine I watched as the guests danced to the rhythm of the loud song playing, yeah it was our after engagement party and Edde made sure that the party was simple with less crowd just few of his rich friends, Mom, his dad and Melanie.
Our engagement shouldn't be called an engagement exactly because it was just about us signing the papers the lawyer brought and that was just it! I still couldn't believe that I was married_yes it's fake but seems real to me because two years is a long time to spend with Edde.
Mom didn't stay long in the party because she had some friends to see while Melanie left me to tour the house. I wasn't feeling the party. My mind was disturbed knowing fully well that once the party ends and everyone leaves I will be stuck here with Edde.
"Hey Etta! Let's dance!" Melanie shouted from the loudness of the music as she walked towards me dancing crazily.
"Mel, please I can't, I feel sick!" I lied as she nodded still dancing.
"You should probably go and have a rest!" She shouted dancing to the dance floor as I heaved a sigh of relief lucky that she didn't force me or dictate that I lied.
"Hello Elizabeth! I love your outfit!" I turned on hearing the voice of the brunette lady standing beside me with a cocky smile, I looked down to get a glance of my gold coloured teal sleeveless outfit which matched with my bag and shoe it was expensive but I never liked it, although only because Edde made me put it on plus it was mini. I raised my eyes at the lady giving her a fake smile "Thank you, yours looks Good too" I said blankly as she giggled slightly covering her mouth in a funny way.
"Come on! Don't mock me I know my outfit looks like I got it from a thrift store" She said making my eyes shone at her reaction as I watched her sit beside me without my permission, her husband or should I call him boyfriend was introduced to me as the C.E.O of Marvin modelling agency so why is she acting so nerdy and weird "Well, it is from the thrift store" She whispered to my ears and giggled "When my husband gives me money to go shop for new outfit I save them and get dress from the thrift store!" She said making me laugh hard at her, why would she be saving when Marvin has upto a billion dollars in his account?…she is fucking weird.
"Oh nice being economical, I will like to have a rest" I said, faking a smile as I stood up and headed back upstairs.

Throughout the party I didn't set my eyes on Edde, not like I was bothered but… Well, I lay on I and Edde's bed staring blankly at the ceiling as the door opened and slammed close, I turned to see Edde standing by the door staring at me like I sneaked into his room, I sat up immediately "Why are you giving me that weird look?" I asked, wrinkling my forehead as he signed walking towards the bathroom. I hated that he insisted on us sharing the room together. I wasn't sure how I would cope with sleeping on the same bed as him.
"Edde I would like to go home and get some of my clothes, I do not have what to wear tomorrow and also I need my hair dryer and stuff…" I said audibly for him to hear from the bathroom, waiting for his response for minutes. I got none as I rolled my eyes heavenward knowing how annoying he turned out to be. Sometimes I wondered what I saw in him to crush that hard on him because whatever it was has faded.
"We will go out tomorrow for clothes shopping" His voice suddenly came in accompanied with the sound of running water.
"Also, I think we should have our separate rooms hence we don't dovetail together" I said hopefully he changes his mind.
"Your thoughts are not valid Elizabeth, now leave me alone I am not in the talking mood right now" he said harshly as I sighed deeply tying up my hair in a bun as I lay down ready to sleep and ignore him.
I woke up the next morning with the endless noises I heard, I sat up clearing my blurry vision to see the cleaner sweeping the floor of the room. I stretched tiredly as I was not yet satisfied with my sleep as I sighed deeply.
"Good morning ma'am" the cleaner greeted me in a bow which kinda made me uncomfortable as I gave her a smile nodding to her greeting.
looking out to the balcony which was covered with a white transparent curtain and then back at the cleaner "Where is Edde?" I asked curiously as I couldn't see him around.
"Master has gone for his morning workout, he will be back soon anyways" She said as I nodded, swinging my leg down the bed as I wondered why they called him master instead of any other title, I walked sluggishly towards the bathroom waving my thoughts away.
Looking at my messy reflection on the large bathroom wall mirror I hissed, letting loose of my bun as it fell to my butt. My hair looked curlier than usual because of some hair treatments the stylist applied on it.
"You can leave now" I heard Edde's masculine British accent telling the cleaner to leave as I went back to the room to get a glimpse of how he looks in the morning… That sounds crazy, I know.
"Good morning Edde" I said nervously, making a step back into the bathroom.
"Here are your toiletries and all you might possibly need for the morning" he said, stretching two fancy bags to me which I collected with a smile.
"Thank you" I said as I entered the bathroom.
Why is he just so cold, arrogant, rude, ruthless and all the bad qualities anyone could have and our creator still gave him body perfections and wealth when there are lots of men who deserve it more!
Stripping the pajamas I wore letting it fall freely to the floor and leaving me buck naked I walked into the running shower to have a refreshing morning bath and start a new day in Edde Loxley's house, I still couldn't believe that I had something to do with Edde after so many years of secretly admiring him… Yes it wasn't all goody staying with Edde but still it was unbelievable! People in school will never believe this when they hear about it because soon if not already, pictures of our engagement will be trending.
Taking the shower gel Edde bought for me ready to pour it on my skin I felt a presence behind me as his huge arms wrapped around my waist pulling closer to him and making me feel his hard shaft, my eyes shone in shock as my heartbeat increased because I have never been so close to a man before not to talk of a naked man, what happened between I and Edde that night was a mistake and I never felt it… I was unconscious anyways.
