Chapter 16

After a hot sex shower with Edde he left me in the most disagreeable manner ever, I felt used as I watched him pull into a t-shirt and shorts as if he had regrets having sex with me.

He walked to the closet and pulled out a simple black gown which he threw over to me "put this on and wait here for me" He said walking out of the room and slamming the door behind him.

Sighing deeply I picked the black outfit and threw it to the floor angrily as my phone rang. I checked the caller's ID to see that it was Melanie. I answered the call immediately as I didn't see her after the party. I was curious to know if she was fine.

"Hey Melanie! Are you good?" I asked immediately as I heard her yawn loudly "You obviously just woke up" I said smiling at nothing in particular.

"That's right Etta, I had a rough night!" She said chuckling loudly as I laughed out knowing what she meant, she always tell me about her sex life with her boyfriend and how he does well on bed, sometimes I find such conversations weird but my morning sex with Edde made me understand the feelings even if he made it seem like garbage.

"So… How are you coping with Edde? As we speak you guys are trending" She said as I sighed expecting just that.

"Well, Edde is still the cold guy as usual nothing special going on between us, We had sex in shower this morning" I said feeling kinda embarrassed.

"Shower sex! That sounds beautiful Etta I have never had one before" She said, faking a cry as I could tell she made her usual poppy face.

"It started nicely but turned out painful, Edde is unbearably rough!" I yelled in a low voice "He seems kinda abusive, I still feel pains in-between my legs".

"Etta please if you can't cope with him leave the marriage, thank God it's a contract, Abusive sex is the worst any woman would wish for" She said worriedly as I hissed.

I ran my well manicured fingers through my curly hair biting my lips in frustration"Mel I just have to endure, the money is just too huge to leave"

"Yeah right? So Elizabeth, why don't you want to tell your Mom about the contract marriage?" Melanie asked worriedly as I rolled my eyes heavenward knowing who Courtney Albie is.

"Mel you know how bladder mouthed my Mom can be, the nature of our marriage is a secret and mom won't keep it a secret…" I said as the door cracked open, on seeing Edde I hung up the call and jumped off the bed to pick the dress which still lay on the floor as Edde picked it up quickly.

I looked up at him, I never noticed how taller he is than I am. I mean he is at least three inches taller than I am! For some reasons I was scared that he met me still in the home dress I wore and the way he looked at me made me feel like I was burning as tears filled my eyes.

"Edde, please I am sorry, I was speaking to my mom on phone" I lied lowering my head in fright as he smirked.

"No you were not! You were speaking to that ill mannered friend of yours!" He yelled angrily, making me flinch as tears rolled down my cheeks wondering what he had in mind to do to me, he raised the dress to his eye level biting his lips in fury.

"If you know who owns this dress and how much it was purchased you won't dare throw it to the floor like it's trash Elizabeth!" He said throwing the dress to my face as I hurriedly grabbed it not giving it a chance to fall to the floor again, I pulled off the Pajamas throwing it to a corner of the room.

"Now I have to stay longer!" He muttered, tightening his fist as he sat on the black couch beside the door going through whatever it was on his phone. I pulled into the gown wondering who owns it. I don't think Edde ever had a girlfriend really, because he never flaunted a girlfriend on paparazzi photos or regular photos, everyone knew him to be a single playboy so… What was he saying!?

"We can go now" I said as he raised his eyes checking the outfit and nodded in obvious satisfaction, I didn't feel comfortable in the dress as it was way too short on me but… That's what Edde wants so I don't have a choice!

Edde held my hands firmly as we trailed down the stairs silently, getting down to the sitting room where the party was held everywhere was neatly arranged like nothing ever happened here just last night.

I was hoping to see the maids around but I sighted none but only the chauffeur "Good morning Master, Good morning ma'am I came to ask if I will be dropping you off at the boutique?" He asked as Edde simply shaked his head pulling me with him out of the mansion.

"We haven't had breakfast Edde" I said calmly as he turned, giving me a hard glare.

"You wasted too much time to still expect breakfast," he replied, opening the white Rolls Royce car.

The drive to the supposed boutique was silent as usual but thank God it wasn't a long drive. He drove into the parking lot which was occupied with different cars of high class. I could tell the boutique was for the rich alone.

"As we go in there, try your best to be obedient to whatever she tells you to do" Edde said as I nodded walking behind him to the main building.

"Edde!" I heard a feminine voice yell his name from a corner as I saw a familiar black lady strutting to us in a wide smile as Edde smiled back which made me surprised, I have never seen him smile so genuinely!… Who the hell is she to make him smile?

I stared closely at her, still wondering where I saw her face. I watched them hug and exchange pleasantries making me feel invisible.

"Elizabeth Albie right?" She asked in that beautiful African American accent with a welcoming smile on her face.

"Yes I am," I said, smiling back at her.

"I am Amma Castane, from…"

"Table talk's show!" I said in shock as she smiled, pulling me into a friendly hug. I can't believe I am speaking with Amma right now! Mel must hear this!

"Enough with the familiarities, Amma let's get into the real deal! You know exactly what I like for my women" Edde said, sounding pissed off as I rolled my eyes heavenward.

"Come with me" she said to me as I nodded walking behind her into a corner covered with a thick brown curtain.

"Your place is beautiful" I commented looking round the dressing room that was partially empty as she smiled at me.

"Thanks Elizabeth, wait here I will go get the outfits for you to try on" She said as I watched her swing her hips out, she is a very pretty black lady and she always inspires me to work harder, I mean… She is doing very great for herself !

I really wanted to ask her why Edde made such a comment. The way he emphasized 'women' made me feel different. Does she know something I don't know? Did Edde have a girlfriend before?…

Why am I worried, not like Edde's love life is my concern anyways.

Soon she came back with two young ladies trailing behind her with lots of dresses that I wondered why they brought that much for me to wear! The ladies left the room leaving I and Amma alone.

"Why do I need this much clothes!" I muttered looking at her as she smiled.

"This is what your husband wants so I do not have any choice than to obey his command" she said throwing a red side slit bodycon gown at me "Try this on and go show him" She said as I hesitantly wore the red dress not comfortable with the idea of going to show him each outfit I tried on.

Trying all outfits Amma brought which took not less than two hours Edde rejected close to fifty percent of them which made me sad as he rejected most outfits that I liked.

Trying those outfits made me know that Edde liked black on his women which surprised me knowing that most rich men love red on their women.

"Do you know if Edde ever had a girlfriend or maybe a wife before me?" I asked hopefully she replies, she gave me a long gaze which kinda made me regret asking her.

"You don't know about it?" She asked as I furrowed my brows and shaked my head negatively.

"Kn… know about what?" I replied as I was getting curious to get an answer, she took a deep breath.

"If Edde hasn't told you about it then, I don't think I am in position to tell you… Please don't get me wrong, I don't just want to get into trouble" She pointed as I nodded slowly blankly watching the attendant's package my dresses into fanciful bags.
