Chapter 66: The Outrage

Mimi and I were on the way to my pack. The driver drove carefully so I could let my mind wander. I clenched my hand. I didn’t mate with Cameron last night. Instead, I did it with Nate. The thought was unbearable. Why did Cameron let Nate do that? Didn’t he have his pride? Was it because Nate was his foster brother, so he didn’t mind sharing me with Nate?

However, I didn’t find last night distasteful either. I felt familiar with him. What’s wrong with me? Suddenly, I remembered something. Before I had the marking ceremony, I remembered I spent a night with Cameron. But then, judging from his reaction, I wonder if my memory was wrong.

Was it possible I mated with Nate before my marking ceremony? If it was true, why did my mind keep thinking that it was Cameron? I tried to recall the night. The man’s touch on my body was gentle, but then … the hand! It was a calloused one, unlike Cameron’s soft hand!

I let out a heavy sigh, as it was disappointing to know Cameron fooled me. Was it because of his mistress? Did he love her? I clenched my hand again.

“Luna, are you okay?” Mimi asked. Maybe it’s because I sighed.

I force a smile. “I’m okay. Why did you ask?” I wouldn’t express how disappointed and embarrassed I was before my subordinate no matter how hard it was. I must preserve my dignity.

“You sounded tired.”

I giggled and waved my hand. “Ah, last night was my time with Cameron. So it’s expected for me to be exhausted.”

Mimi grinned and nodded. “I’m glad, Luna. Our Alpha is a good man, and so are you. I’m so happy he chose you to be his Luna.”

“Thank you, Mimi.” Then I glanced at the back where Anna lay. Maybe they knocked her head or drugged her, as she didn’t move or let out any sound.

“Don’t worry, Luna. Your dowry has been packed well.” Then Mimi bent forward to whisper, “She won’t be a problem for you anymore.”

I said nothing. Even when Anna wasn’t with Cameron, he refused to mate or even kiss me. What kind of relationship would I have with him?

After we arrived at my pack, I asked the driver to rest. Then I asked two of my pack members to bring Anna to a small house. The werewolves put the box on the floor.

“Open the box,” I commanded them.

They immediately opened the box, and one of them glanced at me when he saw Anna. Her hands and feet were tied. “Miss Lisa?”

“Place her on the bed. Then you can leave.”

They did what I said. I gave them a few Moon dollars before they left the house.

“Thank you, Miss Lisa.”

I nodded. “Remember not to tell anyone about this!”

“Sure!” Then they walked away.

I stared at Anna. She was beautiful. Her red hair had a striking way to seduce any man. Her skin was smooth, and her face was lovely. I gripped my hands as I wanted to hurt her. She was the reason Cameron humiliated me! She must pay for what he did!

“Mimi, get a bucket of water.”

“Yes, Luna.”

Mimi went to the bathroom and took a bucket of water. Then she stared at me. “What do you want to do, Luna?”

“Pour it on the slut!” I said. “Wake her! It’s payback time.”

Mimi glanced at me and bit her lower lip. “Are you sure, Luna? What if our Alpha knows? He must be mad because—”

I glared at her. “He won’t know unless you tell him.” Then I asked her in an icy tone, “Will you?”

“W-will I do what, Luna? I-I don’t understand.” Her voice stammered. Then she stepped back.

“Will you be a traitor and tell Cameron?”

Mimi instantly shook her head. “No, Luna! I won’t do it.”

“Good! Then what are you waiting for? Wake her!”

“L-Luna ….”

“Maybe I must do it myself. Give me the bucket!”

Mimi bent her head and stared at the floor. “I will do it, Luna. But please don’t hurt her. Anna is our pack member too ….”

I laughed so hard until my stomach hurt. “Is she a witch? How can she have your affection too?”

“Luna, Anna is an Omega under my supervision. She is honest and a hard worker. Can you give her another chance?” Mimi pleaded for Cameron’s mistress. “Now she is in your pack. I’m sure she won’t be a problem anymore for you.”

“Stop talking! Pour the water on her!” I growled. Hearing Mimi’s plea burned my heart. I must punish the witch! Otherwise, she would think I was too soft.

Mimi poured the water on Anna, but the witch was still unconscious. Mimi glanced at me; she bit her fingers and her shoulders were slumped. “L-Luna ….”

“Let me wake her up.” Then I slapped the slut’s face twice. It was hard until my palm was stinging. The slapping left my palm marks on her cheeks. She deserved it!

Mimi gasped and held my hand. “Luna …. Please don’t do this! Have mercy!” Her eyes widened in terror as she stared at me.

“Mimi!” I screamed at her. “I don’t think you understand my feelings! Cameron is my mate, but because of this witch, he canceled our marking ceremony.” I was breathless and gasped to breathe because I was mad with Anna, Cameron, Mimi, and maybe with myself too. “You don’t understand my feelings,” I repeated with a lower voice.

Mimi kneeled and hugged my feet. “Oh, Luna, please don’t be mad at me. Please calm down. Remember, you are pregnant. Don’t hurt the pup because of your rage.”

What Mimi said was true. I forgot my pup because of my hatred and jealousy toward Cameron’s mistress. I rubbed my belly tenderly. “Forgive me, my pup.” But somehow, my mind couldn’t stop showing a memory of our canceled first marking ceremony. It boiled my emotions again. So I said to my pup in my head, ‘No matter what, I won’t let your daddy be with another woman. I promise you, my pup!’
