6 ~ First Day of Work

Cassandra POV

I was melting under him like butter. I didn't know why there was so much attraction and familiar feeling with him. It was like I was longing for his touch from inception.

"Do you even understand what this means?"

He feathered my red blushed cheeks.

I shook my head in a no.

Honestly, I didn't know the precise meaning of it. But, all I could guess was this means something dangerous and wrong. And from all sense, I had lost my sanity from him.

Suddenly, his fingers pinched my bud a little harder and I shivered.

"I would love to teach you, my slave,"

His last words brought me into reality all of sudden. I realized that he was the same person who killed my brother mercilessly and now doing some kind of witch magic on me.

I stood up from his lap realizing what just happened in those few moments.

My heart beats were racing insanely.

Covering my revealed body with my delicate hands, I try to stand still on my weakened knees.

I glared at his changed expressions as if he was surprised too with whatever happened between us.

"Get out!" He muttered coldly.

Adrenaline rushed to my body as I turned angry with his words.

"I don't want to stay either," I shouted back and took the overcoat from the table to cover myself.

Putting my arms in the space, I covered myself but the strong smell of his body and fragrance hit my nostrils.

He gulped the liquid looking at me in anger and I turned on my heels to go from there.

Walking to my slave chamber which was down the stairs of his huge big chamber. There were around hundreds of slaves and helpers for him. Whose rooms were small and separate on the ground and first floor of his huge three storey palace. The place was big and most royal. I walked to the last room on the first floor as it was my room.

It had a balcony attached to it. But, I was sharing this room with one more woman, who was sleeping when I entered it. The room was completely dark as there was only a light lamp lit late at night.

I didn't know what came to my mind when I directly walked to him after coming out of my unconsciousness. I was scared to death when I found out my stomach wound was healed now. I didn't know how it happened.

Did they have advanced healing technology?

Or this place was weird more than I could have thought. In just two days I had seen the most impossible things. I mean, the way two men turned into animals. What the hell was happening and then they turned into humans again. Was this some kind of joke?

Not only did they turn to the wolf but they were able to change the color of their eyes and I saw that other person, healing himself.

I had to look after this place. Who were these people?

What I knew about them was that they won more than a dozen Kingdoms in just a few years. That was impossible even for the strongest King alive on earth. Also, they live in the most isolated place.

I tried to remember the route but failed when they put all the people in the large ships and brought us here by the sea route. It was a huge and deep ocean and honestly, I was scared. For the whole one day, I was like that the ship would sink right at this moment. But, nothing happened and we safely landed on this unsafe place.

This particular kingdom was in the middle of the huge mountains and dense forests. All I was aware of was that the King appointed their special ones as the manager of the won Kingdoms. Same they did with my Kingdom, Reges.

I walked senselessly as I was trying to connect the dots. I mean why they chose the most isolated place where there was hardly any sunlight. It was colder than any other place on earth. Most of the time it's cloudy, which I noticed in these two days.

I hoped that they weren't murderers and hiding here.

I laughed on my thought as I reminded how the butlers of this stupid King killed my brother. They were the best definition of Murderers.

I sat on my small wooden bed which made a strange sound as if the wood had turned weak because of the excess amount of water present in the air.

I lied slowly not to wake up my room partner.

My thoughts still do not leave the haunting part of this place. I wanted to run from here or at least get killed after killing the murderer of my brother. But, to do that I had to think and make a foolproof plan. And to do that I had to first find out where the people of my Kingdom who came here with me.

I yawned as the sleepiness started taking over me.

And I didn’t realise when I fell asleep.

I woke up when I heard someone calling me.

"Get up,"

I opened my eyes, alarmed , looking at my roommate.

But, raking my eyes I realised that it still was dark.

"Is it morning already?"

I asked in a sleepy tone.

"All the helpers and slaves get up at this time and you better learn it," she scolded.

She was an aged woman who was in her forties. Her hair was becoming thin now.

"But, what will we do waking up this time," I asked, throwing the comforter to the side feeling frustrated. I really hated waking up in half sleep. It makes me feel low the whole day.

"We need to cook food for his highness, then clean his chamber and this whole palace, then we will make his bathing room ready, then help him get ready for the meetings, or anything else he asks us to do," she informed me, making her bed neat and clean.

"Are we going to do it all by ourselves, like only we two?"

"No, all the works are distributed. Since, you are new here. Your work will be allotted by the slave master," she finished.

Slave master again. I rolled my eyes.

"And when will he do that?"

"Don't call him he?" She chuckled.

"I think he is not a woman," I thinned my eyebrows.

"But, he is not a complete man either," she laughed.

Now, what the hell that means.

"What do you even mean?"

She came closer to me and muttered in my ear.

"He is a gay and he has big crush on his highness,"

My mouth hung open as I tried to connect the dots. But before that this lady seems so talkative and informed.

Then I tried to remember what gay exactly means. One day a few ladies were discussing it, I guess, in front of me.

"That means he loves the King,"

"Don't be that loud," she hushed me instantly.

I smiled. Now, that was something useful.

"Cassandra,"

I shivered when I heard the slave master's voice.

I turned to look at him.

"Yes," I said politely.

"You need to always stay around his highness to take care of his needs whenever he comes in his chamber," he informed.

I wanted to kill him but then left it as I knew what I needed to do now.

"Okay," I nodded.

"And make sure, you obey everything he asks for," he finished.

I nodded again.

"Now, get ready quickly and go to his room and wait until he wakes up,"

He went from there in a hurry finishing his disgusting order.

"Oh my God!"

I looked at my roommate who just screamed looking at me.

"Why the hell are you wearing his highness overcoat?"

I looked at myself and realised that I was still wearing that fluffy, woolen overcoat that was oversized and long for me.

"Because he tried to tear my clothes last night," I informed slowly.

She instantly walked to me.

"Did he, I mean, make out with you?" She moved her hands excessively showing me some kind of weird signs.

"I really don't know what you are doing?" I showed my big eyes and walked to the common bathroom.

I was informed that all the slaves had to use that bathroom.

I took a pair of clothes. It was a plain light pink gown. I didn't know why those gowns had a thing for showing extra cleavage then necessary, especially mine.

I marched to the bathing facility and took a quick bath. It was cold here and the cold water did some kind of things to me.

I shivered like hell after bathing and quickly wore my clothes. Though, the palace was way warmer than the other area.

After getting ready, I climbed the stairs to his room, which was way bigger than something that's called room.

I pushed the door slightly open and walked inside. It was dark.

I walked slowly to his bed but it was untouched as if he didn't lay on it last night.

I raked my eyes in the chamber and realised that he was still on his balcony.

Walking slowly, without making any noise, I walked closer to him.

The moonlight was still falling on his face. His eyes closed as he was sleeping in the chair. His head is straight balancing on the edge of the headrest.

My heartbeats slowed down looking at his peaceful sleeping face. His hair was messed up now falling on his forehead. His lips were attractive and the strong naked steel strong body of his looked so devilish now.

I remembered what happened last night right here. How I accepted that I was his.

I didn't know how he managed to make me say it. I was so determined to kill him.

I sat in the chair next to him, staring at him.

He had a kind of attractiveness in him. Or maybe it was just me.

There was a kind of guilt inside me that I submitted myself to him so easily. He wanted to use his witched magic on me. Just the way he had used it on everyone. How come he was so crucial but still people loved him.

Suddenly, my sight on the hair strand that was falling right into his eyes.

I stood up slowly and forwarded my hands to his forehead. My head fixed on his eyes as I used my index finger slowly and softly to push the hair strand away from his eyes.

But, suddenly the green pupils looked at me and I was scared to death.
