Forced Confrontations
Stacy struggled, keeping his hand away. The more she struggled, the more his hand tightened.
I was scared that Stacey was so red that she looked like Alpha Magnus would instantly snap her neck but A hand stopped Alpha Magnus.
“We’ll pass a judgment on how we’ll kill this traitor, Alpha.” Said Dimitri calmly.
“Shut up!” He was too mad to even calm down that Dimitri had pushed him off to wake him up. “Clear off your head from anger, Alpha, let me handle this based on the justice system you made.”
Alpha Magnus glared at Dimitri and took a deep breath before closing his eyes for a moment. His hand let go of Stacy who choked as she panted for air.
“If I weren’t there with Kamilah, you could have killed her, Stacy, did you not know that?” Alpha Magnus asked, now a bit calmer, “You dared to cross my limits…you know how I get angry at traitors like you, right?”
Stacey was on the verge of tears as she gave a glare at me, “What? Do you think I’m happy too? We had a thing until she came here! All of your focus went on the stupid mate of yours so I have to-“
“Stop blabbering.” He shut her off. “You know what I made you promise, Stacy. You’re spilling it out here.”
She snorted, “What? Can't take that I spilled the truth? Why bother hiding it from her? I am here, Alpha Magnus. I can make you so much happier if you're with me.”
“She’s nuts.”
“Desperate she-wolf.”
“If only her father was not one of the pack warriors I would have killed her already.”
Those were the words from the crowds that I heard. Stacey glared at them.
I tried to process what Stacey said. Mate? I couldn’t remember about that...I glanced at Alpha Magnus who was clearly annoyed at her. If Dimitri didn’t come to stop him, he would have already killed Stacey a while ago.
“Dimitri, tell me what do we do for traitors?” Alpha Magnus asked sarcastically.
“According to the justice system that you made, we’ll cut the traitor’s hand, banish them from the pack, or cut her head.” Dimitri instantly answered.
Alpha Magnus nodded, “That seems not the right punishment for Stacy, don’t you think, Kamilah?”
I blinked, all eyes on me. Stacy was on the verge of throwing her hands and digging her fangs at me. I shrugged, somehow liking the idea that she was at my mercy.
“Give her a chance if she apologizes and bows to me. If not, just kill her.” I answered with a teasing look at Stacy.
“What? You are a newcomer, how are you?!” Stacy complained, yelling and fighting but Alpha Magnus kept her still.
“You heard her, Stacy.” Alpha Magnus urged. “Apologize or you're dead.”
Biting her lips, Stacy shook with anger as she didn’t have a choice except do as he said. Stacy bowed at me, “I apologize, Kamilah.”
Alpha Magnus turned to me, “Is that enough?”
I shrugged, wanting to see her suffer more but Alpha Magnus seemed to hear my thoughts as he nodded.
“I am not satisfied with that. I got a better idea.” He then grabbed her and the rogue outside the house.
He asked Dimitri to grab two knives and Dimitri came back with them, throwing them at the two, “I am going to give you both a chance to live. Only if one of you kills the other.”
Stacy gasped and the rogue laughed.
“Alpha are you out of your mind? How could you!”
Alpha Magnus ignored her pleas as he sat back beside me, “Remember, no shifting. Just the knives. You may start now.”
We watched as the rogue didn’t hesitate to attack Stacy with the knife. Stacy was quick enough to dodge him as she fought back. There’s no denying that Stacey is strong and quick when I saw her training, but the rogue was much stronger.
I glanced at Alpha Magnus noticing how he was enjoying this. He’s clearly just and fair in treating his subjects, intimidating and strict when handling them, but he’s so controlling and demanding. And also merciless when they dare to cross his limits.
He’s not hailed as the strong and merciless Alpha for nothing.
The rogue was on the verge of killing Stacy and Stacy ran to us for help.
Alpha Magnus raised his eyebrows, went to the rogue to kill him and Stacy sighed in relief.
He shook his head, “That’s boring, Stacy.”
Stacy’s tears suddenly gushed down like a waterfall.
“Consider yourself lucky and thank Dimitri as I would have already killed you.”
He then looked at everyone. “You see how I treat traitors. If any of you dare to do the same then you are more than welcome.” He threatened, “Now clear the area.”
The other pack members then disposed of the scene as they removed the rogue. Dimitri then grabbed Stacy’s hand and took her away.
Stacy looked behind her to tell him, “My father will know you killed me, Magnus.” Stacy just smirked devilishly before going to where Dimitri led her.
“Nice show!” From the crowd, a happy and carefree as always Gusev, the vampire, commented as he walked over to us.
“I love how you demonstrate your love for your mate, Magnus. You’re really my best friend!”
He tried to cling his arms to Alpha Magnus but he pushed away, “Shut up. I don’t want to deal with you now.”
Gusev pouted and scrunched his nose in disgust, “What a bummer. Everyone here smells filthy except Kamilah. I want to spend some time with her.”
Alpha Magnus just ignored him and started to walk, motioning for me to come with him. “Let’s go.”
Gusev’s mouth opened, clutching his chest as if in pain, “I came here to have some fun, not to be ignored and locked up in the tower!”
“Read the room, Gusev.” Alpha Magnus demanded and Gusev stopped, looking at the way Magnus’s hand twitched and he sighed before leaving us alone.
Once we were alone, I looked at Alpha Magnus, “We need to talk.” I want to know about the mate thingy.
“We will. In my study.” He made me follow him and lead me to his study.
