The time has come
The Lycan King turned to him. “My area, Europe, has been wreaking havoc. I noticed something strange going in. I came here today to inform you about the werewolves smuggling the werewolf steroids, under Druscilla’s men. They seem to be so keen on eradicating you two.”
I gritted my teeth, “A few months back, my pack member Tamara was affected by this. She was killed by Rogues who digested the steroids.”
“It was my past members who invaded her territory, because of Driscilla’s orders.” Magnus chided in.
Lycan King Ace nodded, “A few days ago, I discovered a factory containing steroids and destroyed it. But I believe there are a few more factories located in this area.”
Dimitri then grabbed a paper, “We had investigated the area and found a few more.”
Lycan King Ace leaned back, “Why didn’t you destroy it?”
Magnus stood up and smirked, “Because I believe it's your job. We are too preoccupied with killing Druscilla ourselves.”
Lycan King closed his eyes, and sighed, “And in exchange for this information, what’s the deal you want?”
Magnus clasped his hand together, “Join us in the war.”
Two of Lycan King’s men stood up and were about to attack us when he stopped them. He calmly stood up, “This is out of my area.”
“No, this is also your area. Druscilla covers the whole of America while you cover Europe. What if all the elders from other continents join hands and eradicate him? You all know that Druscilla has been the problem all these years and yet you did nothing but let him rule over.”
Lycan King smirked at that, acknowledging his defeat, “You’re still the same. You planned this all out pretty well.”
Magnus nodded, “And I did a huge favor to you last time. Why not return it back? Aren't we friends like you said?”
He stood up. “I’ll Think about it.”
They then left the pack instantly and promised to come back to help us.
The day went by, with Gusev visiting for a second.
Since Dimitri and Magnus came out, I was left with my pet Lumiere and Gusev looking at me distantly.
“Is Magnus away?” He asked, there was something different to him today…I know it's him and not others posing as him… it's just, that his behavior changed.
Even Lumiere hissed and stood beside me protectively as Magnus stepped forward to me.
“Do you really love him or do you just love him because he’s your mate?” He asked and I widened my eyes, what is he asking me?
“You’re acting strange, Gusev,” I replied, now a bit nervous.
He smiled sinisterly, “What if I’ll kill him? Will you love me then?”
“Be careful what you are saying, Gusev,” I warned him as he continued on.
“Oh well, I guess I have to reveal it now. My feelings for you are growing Kamilah.” He said, staring at me dead in the eye. For Gusev to act so serious like this is a big deal. He was never serious.
I shook my head, “Why are you telling me all of this? I have Magnus.”
“Just to get it off my chest. I could woo you and be patient, I have a long life after all, but your heart has already chosen Magnus…”
I gasped in shock, “Does Magnus know this?”
He shook his head, “I’m not that dumb enough to risk my life.”
I breathed deeply, my head hammering with so many thoughts now. I have a lot going in my head and this one adds up. Ugh.
Biting my lip, I gulped, “Leave, Gusev. I know that feeling is just temporary.”
He smiled bitterly at me, “Yeah, temporary. Like the humans, I fell in love with. I thought I would have a chance last 150 years ago when you left Magnus.” And with that, he left.
I knew that was the last time I would see him, I felt an empty space in my heart, but Gusev had to do that. If I knew he would get attached to me like that..then I should have stopped.
I was left alone in the house for a few more minutes when I heard Magnus's voice in my head.
“Kamilah, Did Dimitri came home?”
My eyebrows creased, “No, He wasn’t here. I thought you were with him?”
“We were, but a black smoke blocked us and Dimitri was gone. I couldn’t even mind linking him.”
I gritted my teeth, “Druscilla.”
He sighed. “I’ll take care of this. Stay there.”
“Too late for that.” I instantly ran and tried to follow their scent. Wherever Drusilla is, he might have stayed Dimitri alive.
Stupid schemes. He always gets the person close to us knowing he can’t even get near us.
Just then, I stopped, feeling like getting sucked into a black hole.
“There you are, Kamilah!” A sarcastic familiar voice exclaimed.
Druscilla.
I felt all my senses going weak and I had to force myself to see.
But there was only blackness.
“What an original plan there, Druscilla.” I sarcastically replied, referring to the last time I was kidnapped by the human fowlers.
“Missed me, Kamilah? It’s been a long time.” He said. “I have my men all surrounded you.”
I sniffed the air and faintly knew it. I could tell it, there were around 200 of his men around the area from various clans,
I chuckled at what he said, still, my senses were weakened, “Wow, what a pleasure. You're Taking many precautions. Scared I’ll get away again?”
He scoffed, “Stop pretending you're a strong dear. This will be your last in living.”
“No, you mean your last?” I heard another voice chiming in. I didn’t have to see it as I instantly knew it was Magnus. I could feel him approaching me and kissing my neck, “Did we arrive late?”
