Chapter 113
Clair The dip wad gets all turned on as I grab the dagger from his other hand while I pretend to reach for his balls. When it comes to fighting, daggers are my thing. I grab the dagger and shove it up his balls before he can move. His body gives out in pain. Smirk, you're going to pay for hurting a pup.
Xander --- “You were right babe; I do underestimate you. Promise me when you get mad at me, it won’t turn out like him?” I can hear Clair giggle through our mind link.
Clair -- “We have one problem.”
Xander – “What is that?”
Clair – “We need to get into the cockpit and see what is going on in there. We must figure out how to find that witch. This way we can get those doors open without the bad guy being alerted.”
Clair --- “Is anyone here Law Enforcement, sky Marshall, off duty or on duty?” I watch a hand go up. “What is your title?” I ask the man that rose his hand.
“I am an off-duty Sky Marshall.”
Clair – “Good come and cuff this snake here. Also, who is a doctor?” I saw another hand rise.
“I am a veterinarian; I am not sure what I can do.”
Clair – “That snake right there on the floor bleeding out of his balls, may need stitches. You do know how to stitch, don't you? Right?”
My heart raced as I saw the Vet nod and I came up to wait while the Sky Marshall handcuffed the dickhead who had attempted to hijack our flight.
It was during this time that Clair was busy assigning tasks to various members of the group to get them started on.
As Xander sorted through his supplies he had obtained from the witches for emergencies, this was indeed an emergency, so he was very busy going through them.
Xander was looking for a spray that could detect magic. A witch's aura radiates light or dark magic, so it was hard not to see it with this spray.
Mythical creatures could see the aura, but humans couldn't. In a way, it was a bummer, because now every non-human on the plane would know we weren't human.
For that door to open, we needed a witch or witches. With the excuse of getting rid of the stench of blood, I started spraying inside the cabin. This plane had a coven of witches onboard, and to top it all off, there were only a couple of humans. They also had vampires and wolves. Don't humans fly anymore on human planes?
I looked around in shock as did my other fellow enchanted friends onboard. Trying to keep all our identities hidden, I try to ask about a coven convention without mentioning coven.
So, I walk over to the woman who looked authoritative and start a conversation, "So you're all heading to a convention?"
The witch knew what I was doing and played along. She replied, “It is going to be a big convention; it is exclusive invitation only.”
I replied, “Too bad, I would love to have come. May I ask if anyone you know in your group knows how to open the door to the cockpit?”
I think we can help, she says. I noticed you had skills of your own, why cannot you handle it?”
She meant the magic that happened earlier, so I replied. We're not as skilled as you and your friends."
I looked stunned when the witch whispered, "Yes your highness." The witch continued, " Surprised? Shocked? It's witch-made, so witches can't be affected by it."
A couple of witches followed me to the cockpit while my Queen Clair took charge with the passengers. Thinking to myself how she is going to make a great queen.
The witches made it look like they were discussing how to open the door, when they were chanting a spell, that popped the door right open.
Of course, the plane is on autopilot with no pilot. I've flown my own helicopters, so I take the pilot's seat. There's going to be a need for a copilot.
Clair got a mind link from me letting her know we don't have any pilots, we're on autopilot. If she can find someone with some flight experience, even a crop duster will do. It didn't occur to me how much trouble we were in.
According to Claire, the only one who has flight experience has been learning how to fly for three months. Just wonderful, I thought. Send this guy in, I told her.
I could see the man who was going to be my copilot was shaking from head to toe when he came in. Again, I sent a mind link to Clair, I needed one of the vampires to do their eye thing that calms humans down.
I explain to my new copilot that a therapist is coming in to help him to calm down and quit shaking.
“Listen man, it will be okay. I know you are scared but we don’t have time to be scared. I assume you want to make this out alive?”
I see the Vamp walk in and I nod towards my copilot.
I face back to the Vamp, “What’s your name?”
“Let’s just call me Joe, I doubt we all are going to be best friends after this.”
“Well Okay Joe, just call me Der, I agree with your thought. Let’s keep it as civil as possible. Thank you by the way.”
Joe nods, walks over to my copilot, and asks him to stand up and look at him. Almost like a spinning wheel, his eyes change colors. My copilot is hypnotized by his low calming voice. Telling him he knows how to fly and won't be afraid, as this is second nature to him. After the flight, my copilot will only remember being on a great flight.
As my copilot nods, he sits down again. In the ocean area, there's no reception, so our phones aren't working. I can't get through any airport for the same reason.
While I'm assessing the situation, Joe leaves the cockpit. While checking the settings before taking the plane off autopilot. I may keep it on autopilot if I see any hope of land. There is a lot of risk involved when flying above the ocean.
I hear a boom and look at my window to notice one of the engines are on fire. Just wonderful I thought, now what do we do?
