Chapter 32
Colt -
Our group was called to a meeting by Cameron, so I joined them. There is a lot to discuss, including the origins of my sister. My sister I thought might have been descended from one of the dragon packs because of the blood work that doctor told me about. I found a green birthmark, if she is a dragon maybe that will give us a clue from which pack she comes from.
I recall my parents were abroad for a while on their journey. According to them, they wanted their child to have a special birth far away from home. That I was 14 and being left with a nanny, my parents were abroad really didn't bother me. My Nintendo here I come.
My sister looks so angelic to everyone who sees her. Everyone compliments her on this. Her eyes are also very unusual as they change with her mood. Her ears are almost elf-like in appearance. As strange as it sounds, she absolutely loves the color green, and if she can't wear it, she cries.
The minute I walked into the room I noticed it was the same group of people - basically family and a few warriors. My sister Clair does not attend the meeting, as she is on her way to the palace to move in with Prince Xander. Throughout the process, my sister argued with prince Xander about every aspect. It amazes me that Xander convinced her that moving to the castle was the right choice for her.
My mother Constance had me sit next to her as usual. It breaks my heart that she had suffered through so much pain with me having been kidnapped, not knowing if I was alive or dead. Because of this, I spend as much time with her as she desires.
Before I sit down, I walk over to my mother's chair and give her a hug and kiss on the top of her head. She smiles and places her hand on mine. Cameron calls everyone to attention. 'We're going to cover a lot tonight,' he says.
1. That Rose is yet another kidnapped child. She is not a wolf.
2. The peace pack had multiple buildings burned down to ashes, looks like the work of multiple dragons. These dragons seemed to work with our rogues.
3. The twins Corbin and Connor, as well as Colt, will leave Monday on their way to Alpha school in Europe. These young men will be away for a couple of years. Therefore, we will have a farewell party for these guys this weekend.
4. Clair has moved to the castle, and we need to plan a mating ceremony.
5. We need to make certain all the homeless from the peace pack are in homes on the pack lands. Vet people out to make sure they are not some hidden enemies.
This is going to be Colt's moment - to tell you what he has learned about Rose so far. At the end of the meeting, we will assign certain tasks to each of us based on our respective roles.
Colt has a small smile on his face, but he is not happy. He had recently learned that they had also kidnapped his sister. No one knows what this will do to her, or if we returned her to the hands of her biological parents, will he ever see her again if they gave her back to them?
During his discussion about the little girl whom he thought his parents brought to him as a gift from the moon goddess, Colt has tear drops rolling down his cheeks.
"I am sorry to be emotional here, but neither of us knew they had kidnapped us. We were treated with love and awe. The last thing they told me was that I was not biologically theirs! But Rose is biologically theirs. I am sorry that I could have believed them again.
Rose has eyes that are normally green, however they change to any color depending on her mood. The pack doctor had been performing several blood tests on Rose. She told me that Rose was healing fast and well. She stated the doctor needed me to go over her blood work with her.
After entering his office, he asked me to sit down for a moment. While he had the paperwork in front of him, he appeared hesitant. The doctor explains that Rose is not a werewolf, since it is genetically impossible for two wolves to have a daughter who is a werewolf.
According to the doctor, Rose is not human either, as he ruled out elf as the cause of her ear shape but still tested her. According to his professional opinion, she must be a dragon. The reason he stated this is that, in his experience, he has never tested a dragon or kept a dragon DNA record. He believes his gut tells him she is a child dragon.
There is no way for me to know how Rosie and Josh kidnapped a dragon baby, maybe it was coincidence. I mean look at it this way, dragons live on top of mountains that are difficult to reach. Josh and Rosie did not look like the typical mountain climbing athletic werewolves.
Alpha Cameron asked me if she had a colored birthmark, and yes she has a green birthmark. She always has green eyes unless her mood drastically changes. This color is so dear to her that if she cannot wear it all the time, she will cry. This sounds almost like a green dragon. Does anyone know of a dragon from the Green Dragon pack?
Cameron -
"I will talk to prince Xander's father about this, that way the wolf King will speak with the dragon King about it. I will contact the King right after the meeting.".
How should we handle a dragon whelp? I will ask the King. We do not want the young Rose to set anything on fire, do we? "We don't know enough about baby dragons to say whether she can".
"I wonder if this might also be because Josh and Rose took one of the whelps of the peace pack? I want you to do some investigation work and talk to some survivors, see if you can get any information on any dragons." "Now we will talk about the possibility that dragons might help other rogue wolves burn several homes in the peace pack. I am wondering if it is because Josh and Rose took one of their whelps?"
Cameron -
"Camden, could you give your mate the task of planning this weekend's farewell, so that we can ask the drivers to drive them to the airport and make sure they are accompanied by guards while they are in Europe?
Camden nodded yes in response to Cameron's request.
"Mom, could I get you to plan Clair's mating ceremony? Also, see if the king's mate would like to help?”
Constance -
"Do I have to let the Queen help? I mean I can handle this myself.”
Cameron -
"Mother, because she is marrying the future King, all packs are going to be invited to this ceremony. We will need to have this at the Castle for her ceremony.”
I watch my mother look conflicted before she conceded I am right, and she needs to work with the Queen on this.
"Corbin and Connor, I believe your mates are here with you. Could you guys and your mates make certain the survivors are all taken care of?”
Constance -
"What will happen with Rose, I have grown to love her, I don't want to lose her.”
Cameron -
"My father is standing behind her, rubbing my mother's back from behind as I walk over and hug her close. Mother, I know you are worried, but let's just take things one step at a time. Perhaps we can negotiate visitation rights, but we should not make ourselves sick by worrying about it.”
