Chapter 39
I deflated into a miniature toy soldier after getting into the helicopter, making myself invisible. Seeing whom and what wolves to deal with was important.
During the past couple of weeks, I have been watching everyone. While I was there when the meeting to see Colt's memories took place, it astonished me to learn that the Alpha and Luna went that far to steal a child.
They were odd with the rogues roaming the pack grounds. Since I held someone's pinky and sipped tea from their cup, I could watch. But they couldn't see me because I was invisible. I annoyed the person by holding their finger; they kept trying to swat me off.
I couldn't stay hidden any longer, I made myself known to Akira early on; I didn't want her to feel alone; I know she had Colt, but he was being drug all over the place. I am glad the Luna developed a bond with her. I saw this family of Alpha's were good people. I decided when they were planning on contacting the Dragons to make myself known.
I kept myself invisible until Alpha Cameron came in early to the office the next morning. Once he was seated, I sat at the far side of the room, and I made myself visible. I was nervous; I heard Alphas have horrible tempers. I am not wearing anything incognito, when he sees me he will see a 15-year-old Elven girl. Hopefully seeing someone young will keep his anger at baby.
I end up saying something, elves are by nature so quiet people don't hear or smell us, he could have gone on hours without realizing I was threre. Timidly I ask, "Alpha?" He drops his cup of coffee, and he shatters the cup.
Alpha Cameron --
Who the heck are you and how did you get in here”?
Elanor -
"Sorry alpha, I am Elanor of the Emerald forests dragon pack. As you can see, I am an elf and I serve the Emerald Dragon queen, and she left me in charge of her daughter, Akira.”
Alpha Cameron --
"When you say Akira, do you mean Rose?" I look at Elanor and am shocked to believe such a tiny creature could guard someone. She had on green leggings, long dark brown hair, she looked just like any child elf from fairy tale books.
Elanor noticed I was staring in shock and disbelief.
Elanor --
"The dragon realm between the red dragons and it rogues have been attacking the Emerald dragon pack for their land and to kill the princess. She is the Princess of prophesy that will unite all magical realms. There are some that do not wish to see that happen.
When I left six years ago, the queen had just had her baby, and I tried to get the queen and the baby up to escape as the kingdom was under attack, and all our warriors were out fighting. The queen couldn't move, she handed me the baby and told me to take care of her and hide her.
I promised to protect her with my life. I used an invisibility cloak to hide the baby and I. We had made it to the edge of Emerald Forest, however I heard my sister screaming as she was being attacked by a dragon rogue. I hid the baby in the bushes near the road. I killed the dragon rogue and took back off to get the baby, and she was gone.
It took me six-months to find Akira; the couple had named her Rose. I had changed my appearance and let them raise her while I was the nanny. This was a great hiding place for a baby dragon. The Red Dragons would not think of anyone in a wolf pack taking on a dragon baby. Akira knows her real name and her story as I became her nanny and let her know.”
I changed my looks so the Alpha could understand the magic that Elves have. Then I changed back into my Elven self. "I played off as a nanny and then a schoolteacher to always protect the princess. Which brings me to our situation at hand, We Cannot let the dragons know of her existence.
The red dragons and the brother of the King Emerald dragon have spies everywhere, and we cannot take a chance of anyone finding Akira. Please, I beg of you, could I please let her continue to hide here, possibly as your adopted child?”
Alpha Cameron --
"I would need to call a meeting together of my most trusted advisors."
Elanor -
"Then could we do this expediently, as you have already let the King of Wolves know, and we must stop him from contacting the Golden Dragon King?”
Alpha Cameron --
I could see her genuine worry; My mind linked to my family, including Colt. We all needed to meet at the castle to have a meeting with the King. We would take the helicopter to the castle; we didn't have time to spare. They all replied they will meet me at the castle.
Next, I mind linked my dad and mother and asked them to call the Wolf King and let him know not to contact the Golden Dragon yet; we are all coming for a meeting. Something has come up. My dad acknowledged and he would meet us as well at the helicopter.
I could see Elanor take a deep sigh of relief.
Our honor is to help you protect the future queen of dragons. If you could get Rose, I mean Akira, we will take a helicopter to have this meeting with the Wolf King. If you need us, we are at your service. Trust us."
"Thank you so much, Alpha Cameron. I am deeply indebted to you." Elanor nodded and smiled brightly.
My appearance changed into that of a she-wolf again, so I went to fetch Akira for the meeting with the king.
Once I had Akira, I met the family at a parade of limousines designed to take us all to the pack airport. Alpha Cameron had mind linked everyone not to say or ask anything until we are in the meeting with the king.
Everyone was looking at me with curiosity, I smiled back. And then turned to look out the window. I hate being the subject of so much attention, I pray I am doing the right thing by Akira letting this pack know about Akira.
When the helicopter had landed, I looked around at what I could see. The place was eloquent but nothing like the Emerald Dragons castle.
The King, his mate, his daughter, the prince, and Colt’s twin. Along with all the biological family of Colt’s was here to attend the meeting. The Luna guided everyone to the secret room, where electronics and magic did not work. Which meant once I was in that room, I was once again a young elf.
