Chapter 85

Xander –

When we had interrogated the lieutenant of the guard, we had some warriors accompany him back to his home. We also reset the house arrest monitor once he had been returned to his home. It was imperative that we did not take any chances with leaks getting out. This was because many parents were desperate to save their children and would betray anyone to do so.

Clair –

“We know that the red dragon king is giving the rogue king aid. He is also putting up the rogue king on his land. I will bet anything that is where the girls are being taken. I just can’t understand why. Have we stripped the rogues and checked their mouths for any suicide capsules? Once they are naked and all their cavities have been checked. I would like to have truth serum administered to them. I want to know how to get to their base camp.” I snap my fingers; “how could I forget? Jackson escaped from the rogue Alpha king, Get Jackson in here right away, we need to get that wolf down here now!” I had Beta Zach mind link his sister to have Jackson come down now.

King Reynolds –

“We don’t want to start a war with the Red dragons, it has to be done secretly and stealthily.” I watched as everyone in the room agreed. “The question being, who do we trust to send with Jackson?”

Clair –

It would be a good idea to ask Elanor to join us as well so that we could talk about these things. Her main priority is to guard Akira, so I would not send her on this mission as she has a lot on her plate right now. She may, however, be able to contact the Emerald King and Queen in order to assist our men in mapping out the area. As a result, the men would be able to establish a camp in a relatively safe area. I would like to ask you, beta Michael, if you could build a mind link with Elanor and ask her to come here?” The beta nods his head. After that, I continue my instructions as the head of security, stating, “Early in the morning, I would like our rescue team to have Jackson go over the tunnels with them, then they should gather the supplies they need and head out on a rescue mission in the morning. It is important for me to ask both of my betas to choose a team and to make sure they are trustworthy and that they can work well together as a team. It is your responsibility as beta’s to lead a team on the mission, so make sure that you choose your team wisely. As far as I am concerned, you should apply truth serum to them to get them to open-up to you. Because of all the kidnappings that have taken place recently, we are not able to trust anyone now."

Xander –

I hear a knock on the door, I get up and open the door and standing there was Jackson and Elanor with Little Akira. I was about to ask if we could get a nanny to come and take her, that is when Akira spoke up.

Akira –

“It is a fact that I am a princess, and that part of my training includes strategy. I am quite adept at these things, and I am not like other children in that I am not easily scared by things like this. I have learned how to bring my parents into the conversation, and you can see and speak with them.” I look around and see that Elanor is sitting next to Michael.

“I would appreciate it if someone on that side of the room could turn off the light for me?” It was only after the light had been turned off that I closed my eyes and concentrated on calling out to my parents through the mind link. After they had responded to my request, I asked them to please speak to King Reynolds, they could use his assistance. As they projected their images onto the screen, I brought them in, and I made them look like they were standing on the table. Everyone was able to see each other at the same time. My next move was to take a seat next to Elanor whose seat was next to mine.

Emerald King –

“King Reynolds how may we help you? “

King Reynolds –

“We have a situation; the rogue king is hiding on Red Dragons territory. The rogue king has been stealing young females from different packs. We feel that he probably has the girls in the enchanted forest. I was hoping I could keep a couple of our teams on your land, while they scout out where the girls are being kept.”

Emerald King –

“Normally I would say no, the person masquerading as the red dragon king, is my brother. He has taken over their pack. We had to hide our daughter because he has many friends that are loyal to him in this pack, and he would kill my daughter. However, we too are missing young dragonesses, and I am guessing my brother is behind this. You have my help and some of my men if you need.”

King Reynolds –

“Thank you your highnesses”

Emerald Queen—

“How are you my baby Akira? I miss you so much.”

Akira –

“As you know Elanor found her mate here, I am starting school in the wolf school, I am excited I am going to make friends.”

Making as if I am hugging my mother so she knew I love her. She does a hug back. My father does the same for me. Then they fade away from my mind and from the group.

Clair –

“Elanor and Jackson, I could really use you creating a map of the enchanted forest. That way we can go in and rescue the missing girls.”

Elanor –

“Parts of the enchanted forest need to be kept secret to protect the privacy of the other magical creatures. However, I see that the Emerald King and Queen have stated that you can know their location, so I will help with the map on how to get to that location.”

Jackson –

“There are tunnels from ancient times that run under the castle as well as under everything for thousands of miles. I know a lot of the tunnels from the time I was undercover with the rogues. They use the tunnels frequently.”

Xander—

“Well, who wants to get some coffee and plenty of sweets, we are going to be up for awhile it seems. Also bring a cot for our favorite little princess to get her sleep she so strongly needs to grow up into a big princess.”

Akira –

“Why do they get to stay up?”

Xander –

“They are over 18 years old, and you are 6 years old. They will grow as tall as they ever are going to get. Now when we get that cot in here, bedtime young lady.” I laugh inside of myself as I watch this little one who seems to be an old soul, cross her arms and pout like a child.

Clair –

“I mind linked facilities and asked them to bring me down a cot as well. I knew being pregnant I wouldn’t be able to stay up too late. But I don’t want to be sleeping upstairs without my mate.”

Back at the lieutenants house – he has keys to the locks because he is the lieutenant of the guard. He was going after his daughter, and he was taking off the leg cuffs that kept him in the house guarded. He put it on the leg of a chair. Then crawled out his attic and Jumped to the next rooftop.

Once the lieutenant was out of the packs village and in the woods he shifted into his wolf and ran following whatever foul smell he could. He knew the smell of rogues, and he was going to torture everyone until he found his daughter.
