Chapter 87
Zach –
I am a wolf not a Da** mole rat. I need fresh air, not tunnels suffocating me and my wolf. After Michael had dozed off, I couldn’t stay asleep. I felt like I was suffocating, and I’d heard of wolves having panic attacks. This emotion fit the definition of a panic attack perfectly.
I couldn’t stay still I needed to find a way out of here. I started walking around knowing not to stay far off the path, as these tunnels were a labyrinth of puzzle pieces of confusion. `
While walking I had smelt a putrid odor. I knew immediately it was rogues, and my brain started processing. I know this sounded crazy, but I wanted us to get caught by them. Why? Because we need to get out of these tunnels. It is not like we could ask them for directions, even if we imprisoned them, they are not going to volunteer that information. Once we get out
I know Michael is going to threaten to kill me, I don’t think he likes me very much. I just shrug my shoulders. He just needs to get to know me, you know the saying to know me is to love me.
I walk up to the Rogues and introduce myself, to say they were shocked that someone in these dark tunnels would walk up and would be pleasantly starting a conversation must have thrown them for a loop.
“Hey guys, how are you doing? I have got a deal for you! Get me out of here and you can have that my friends back there sleeping in the tunnels.”
Big Smelly Rogue
The smelliest, largest rogue spoke, “What do we care about your friends?”
Zach—
“Do you think you shouldn't bring the rogue King the werewolf Kings personal Beta Michael?”
I watch as I see the rogue's head shoot up. It was now obvious that he was paying attention to me.
He smiled a crooked brown toothy smile at me, I guessed he liked this idea.
The smelly man was led to my men and beta Michael by me. It was then that I started walking behind them as the rogues started tying up my men to prevent them from fleeing. These stupid rogues don’t even use ropes laced in wolfbane. Fortunately, it is good for us, because we will be able to escape easily once we are out of the tunnels. I just needed to trick these idiots into being our tour guides. When I see my men being kicked and beaten by the rogues, I cringe with horror.
While the rogues were not paying attention to me, I sent out a mass link to my men and beta Michael. I asked them to play along with me. To get us out of those tunnels, I had a plan that I was carrying out. It was then that I put a block up on my mind link so that no one could access it. Beta Michael had a wicked glare on his face as I turned my head to look at him. As I look at him and shrug my shoulders, I act as if this hasn't bothered me in the least at all. Do you remember my sister's mate, who was supposed to accompany us through the tunnels at the beginning? Well, he had to leave because one of his businesses was experiencing corporate emergency and he had to leave because of that.
After the rogues finished abusing my men, they grabbed them and made them stand up, tying them to each other so that they could walk one behind the other. In addition to the rogue in the back, they kept one on the side and one in the front.
Contrary to my expectations, the leader of this rogue expedition found the most dazzling golden rock. There was an incredible brightness to it, something I had never seen before, something as bright as the sun. When he threw the golden rock at the wall with all his might, it was an extremely forceful throw. The tunnel was a silent one, and so I was expecting to hear a loud bang. However, I was greeted with a portal on the wall of the tunnel instead. The jaw of my mouth practically kissed the bottom of my feet by this point.
The leader of this rogue group walked through first, then we all followed behind him. This was not working as I planned. We were now on Dragon Kingdoms land. Who would have thought they had some magic shiny rocks? I sigh, we needed to escape before we ended up in the rogue kings entrapment and they put wolfbane laced chains on us.
“Guys listen, I didn’t expect a magic portal. We need to get out of our ropes before we end up before the rogue king and are put in wolfbane laced chains. Start working with your ties, use a tree or try unknotting, but we need to figure it out now”. Of course, beta Michael looked angry at me again, even more so than before.
I look around in awe, I had never seen a dragon, the red dragons were everywhere here. I was scared and in awe at the same time.
In addition to being well trained, my men carried knives in small pockets on their backs, and they were cutting those ropes with ease. In no time at all, they were free of the ropes that bound them, although this was going to be challenging, since there were so many dragons around. Although we are small in comparison to the dragons, we can outrun them and run straight into the trees if we want to.
I mind linked for the men to take down the rogue quickly. We don’t want to draw anymore attention to ourselves. Each rogue we stealthily drug into the woods and tied that individual to a tree.
My men and I could feel the ground shake as the dragons walked across the earth. Leaving huge feet imprints in the dirt. Michael walked over to me, balled his fists up and punched me.
