A GLAZING AND STYLISH PLACE
The Greater HYDERABAD (India) – a calm, trouble-free business city. The Hyderabad commercial city is the center of attraction for newly formed 29th Telangana State (TS). The TS consists of presently with Ten Districts. The Hyderabad is the capital of Telangana State. There is lot of difference in 1950-1960’s Hyderabad and 2015’s Hyderabad. Even vast development is foreseen in all the 10 districts of Hyderabad. It’s, now, called a cosmopolitan city. Different people of all religion stay here. Earlier, before bifurcation of this State, it was combined Andhra Pradesh. Telangana State has come into effect from June 2014. Hyderabad is a very beautiful city. When compared to other capital cities, Hyderabad looks to be far-ahead of other cities and one can see all round development in all the fields including IT. Hyderabad is making rapid strides in real estate field, infrastructure, agriculture, science & technology, financial services, IT field, pharmaceutical, manufacture, culture & film field, hotel industry and real estate & construction field etc. The cost of living at Hyderabad is slightly low, when compared to Chennai (Tamil Nadu State), Bengaluru (Karnataka State), Kolkata (West Bengal State) and Mumbai (Maharashtra State) and New Delhi.
FLASH BACK & SKELITON BRIEF OF OLD AND NEW HYDERABAD (TS)
Way back 1950’s to 1960’s, the days at old Hyderabad belong to Tangawala days (Jhatka days) i.e. cart with one old horse for transportation of people and material items from one place to another place. Very few by-cycles were seen on the roads with small kerosene lamp. There were single and small narrow roads and mud roads. The days were such, one who owns a by-cycle was better rich, one who owns a Lambretta scooter was a medium rich and one who owns a small car or a jeep or an Ambassador car was a rich person. There were very few two wheelers and countable cars were seen plying. The days were one paise coin, two paise coins, five paise coins, ten paise coins, 25 paise coins, 50 paise coins and one rupee notes were in circulation. The population in those days was very thin. There were few busses plying for peoples transportation. Very small villages existed then. There was no electricity shortage problem, no water scarcity problem. Those days were golden days. Everybody was living happily and leading the life. Government job opportunities were plenty and there were no dearth for employment. Those who qualified minimum 10th class used to get permanent jobs like helper, orderly, LDC and other equivalent posts. There were small petty businesses running including ‘chaoos’ kirana shops. During the Test Cricket match days, people used to throng Pan Shops for hearing running commentary. Very few families used to have Radio. Then, later small type Transistors and pocket Transistors to listen for news, songs came into existence etc. Even those days’ were such the land cost was Rupees 2 or 3 or 5 for one square yard.
There were the days’ for “combined living families”. Everybody used to struggle hard to earn money, though there was not big money circulation, but, all the families were leading their life very happily without confronting any major problems like, riots, bundhs, strikes, political uncertainties, except earning very small incomes either through monthly salary or through business. The street lights were very few and were seen here and there. There were a couple of cinema theatres, which are countable on fingers. There were not much expansion of colonies and the population itself was very thin.
During 1960’s and 1970’s, Radio system has done away and became obsolete. All Transistor days have come. Small type electronic gadgets were introduced slowly. There were just black & white Televisions just introduced at Hyderabad that too first manufactured by the Electronics Corporation of India Limited – A Government of India Enterprise at Hyderabad. Cycle rickshaws have come; by-cycles were in full swing with battery lights. Old auto-rickshaws were plying here and there. Road Transport busses were slightly increased upwards. Few more cinema theatres came up. Government job opportunities increased. Few educational institutions, degree colleges were established. Typewriting institutions came up well. Population increased slightly. Many people used to migrate and shifted from small villages to Hyderabad city. There were no major private hospitals except Gandhi Hospital, Osmania General Hospital, TB & Chest Hospital, Cancer Hospital and Fever Hospital etc. People started establishing their own business set ups. People and families from all parts of country started settling down at Hyderabad (now Telangana State of India). Slowly Government job opportunities got increased. Many small scale industries, medium scale industries, and large scale industries were established.
Many banking sector jobs also facilitated to youth both skilled jobs and unskilled jobs. Various nationalized banks opened their new branches at Hyderabad (Telangana State) India. Also very few private banks got established. Film industry shifted from Chennai (then Madras of Tamil Nadu State) to Hyderabad (India).
Tanga (Jatka) transportation for men & material system has done away. Cycle Rickshaws system was introduced.
During 1970’s and 1980’s, there was little progress in the all-round development of Hyderabad city. Secunderabad Railway station, Nampally Railway station and Kachiguda Railway Station were updated and renovated. Road Transport services were improved in functional areas and in transportation of passengers. Various Government departments got established and many people got employed in various cadres. Employees got recruitment in various banking sectors. Couple of more cinema theatres got constructed in and around Hyderabad, Secunderabad area, Cantonment area were developed steadily. Business sector got good encouragement and many people settled in twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad from various parts of city. Many public sector undertakings came up well. Couple of thousands of people got good employment. There was steady growth in small, medium and large scale industries establishment. Sub-contracting firms also established. Roads widening and construction of Malls, Flats started. Over-all development was foreseen in those days without any major agitations, strikes, riots.
During 1980’s and 1990’s, there was good all round development at Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Computer working systems were introduced. Voluntary retirement schemes were introduced by the Government in various Central Governments, Public Sector Undertakings and in Banks. Many people opted for retirement under Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS).
During 1990’s to 2015’s, there was rapid growth in population, development in real estate & construction field, employment field, software field, business field, education field, manufacturing units, financial services, pharmaceutical sector, research & technological fields, metro rail project, cabs introduction, new technology bus fleet, cyber tower for IT sector came up in Cyberabad./ Many IT sectors got established.
The job opportunities in Government offices and in IT field and non-IT field are encouraging and there is no dearth of jobs in all the sector/fields especially at Hyderabad. The Hyderabad and other districts in Telangana State are very calm, trouble-free areas, weather conditions suits all people including foreigners. The culture is very good and cost of land, construction costs are just within the reach of every person. Everybody could afford to purchase either a flat or can construct own house. All types of loans including home loans, consumer loans, credit loans, automobile loans could be utilized by any section of people.
