Chapter 154 Widen One’s View
He doesn't dazzle her at all.
Bane felt as though her heart was racing now. She was dead. She was dead.
"See what see so absorbed!"
Bert noticed that not only did she wander about all the time, but she skipped over him every time she came to him, to his somewhat displeasure.
"So many beautiful views here are certainly for viewing."
Bane hurried to find an excuse.
"Then you can stay longer. We're going to be here for a while anyway."
Bert looked at the endless sea, and it did not seem so pretty.
"Ah? Are we going to move here?"
Bane didn't know what to do.
"Well."
Bert nodded faintly, and said no more.
He didn't ask Bane, though she was curious, because she knew very well that he wouldn't say anything he didn't want to.
She didn't want to waste the time asking.
When the ship docked there were a lot of people waiting, but when Bert got down they didn't pay any attention.
For they did not realize that it was Bert in his casual clothes!
It took them a long time to react.
Jick felt much better when he saw the shock on their faces. It seemed that the shock had not been his fault.
It happens to all of us.
Bert, however, soon calmed down. He picked up Sophie next to him, Bane and Norton at his side.
"Has everything been done yet?
"Don't worry, President, we have done all this, and you can rest assured that there is absolutely no problem with security."
"Go and see."
Bane silently followed him into the car, the long motorcade immediately drove to the west of the island, near the sea not far away, a magnificent villa in the trees looming.
Just to see the tip of the iceberg, you can imagine that this is a magnificent European building, standing there just have a view of the whole sea.
When they approached, someone opened the door. The interior decoration was very imposing and beautiful. The most important thing was that there was a ferris wheel at the back of the house.
This will definitely cost a lot of money!
Sophie stood there, stunned. "Daddy, Sophie loves it here."
Amusement parks, ferris wheels, everything.
Bert rubbed her head. "If Sophie likes it, we can stay here as long as you like."
Bane vaguely sensed something was wrong when Bert said this. He looked as if he were going to be here for a long time.
"Is there something wrong? After a moment's hesitation she asked the question in her mind.
Bert nodded faintly, but without much explanation. "Later."
Then he went in, leading his two children by the hand.
The villa is spacious and has a miniature playground at the back, as well as tennis, golf and billiards, with almost every entertainment imaginable.
And on top of that, there's a winery!
I'm afraid this villa has been in the works for a long time.
Bert glanced at Norton beside him, a hint of command in his eye.
Norton touches his nose helplessly, then pulls Sophie aside. "Come on, Sophie. Brother will play with you.
"That brother I can ride ferris wheel?"
"Good."
Norton quickly leads her away, followed by several bodyguards.
"Come in with me."
"Said Bert, when he had seen them go.
Bert took her upstairs to the panoramic room, where there were two sofas in the window, so soft that she seemed to sink into them.
There was a glimpse of the sea, and a gleam of delight flashed through Bane's eyes.
"Do you like it?
"Asked Bert, seeing her appearance.
Bane didn't want to lie, "Loved it."
He liked everything here.
His eyebrows were slightly raised, and perhaps because of his casual clothes, he did not look so stern now.
"You may need to live here for a while with two children."
'How long?
"A month or so will do."
Bane looked down for a moment, then said in a low voice, "Is it because of me that we need to live here for a while?"
"You have a look first."
Bert did not say so directly, but held several photographs in front of her.
Bane took it out and looked at it. When she saw it, her face darkened because there was something similar between the picture and the bed.
Except this one seems to be from a different Angle.
The most important thing is that the photo clearly shows her, with Ward lying on her stomach.
There are two similar photos next to it, all very ambiguous anyway.
The most important thing is that there is a line of fine print after the last photo.
Underneath it was, You'd better not buy right now, or I'll publish these pictures.
Bane looked the grimest.
"It's not written by one person yet, it's written by several people, and you can see how careful they are."
By the time Bane heard this, he knew that the object was not her at all, but to threaten Bert with her.
But one thing is a little strange.
Why was he so sure that Burt would abandon his bid for her?
She unconsciously looked aside at Bert as she thought so.
"You seem surprised."
Bert raised his eyebrows.
Bane didn't answer directly, "What are you going to do now?"
"You look at this place first."
Bert touched the photograph, and Bane took a deep breath and looked at it. He saw a silver shadow on it, which seemed to be a piece of jewelry.
The shadow reflected from the jewelry could barely be seen as that of a man.
"Can faintly see like a man, only the photo Angle has some wrong, according to the height of the filming, I guess is likely to be a woman, and this camera is a old camera, has the very high collection value, now basically only collection will buy this kind of thing, if I find the past carefully should be able to get a clue."
Bert grunted. "Now it looks like it's a man and a woman, but they were very cunning in choosing to give them all to me instead of to you, where you might end up in some remote mountain village."
Bert's voice was tinged with ridicule, and Bane's eyes flashed a little bit of shock. He didn't know this.
She had never expressed herself.
"You'd better not use this look at me, or I will misunderstand you in surrender."
When Bert said this, Bane looked away and flushed slightly.
