Chapter 17 For Sophie
Anne saw Bane's face calm and less excited. 'Have you thought of something?' she said.
"Not exactly. For Sophie, I must do it once."
Bane's eyes brimmed with determination. Her father was paralyzed in the hospital after a car accident, and her stepmother's fox tail was showing. Even though the family had been mistreating her, she had not said she would hold a grudge against them.
Rosa was not her real mother, and she certainly did not expect anything.
When her mother left, she told her to repay her father, so she spent five years in prison to pay him back.
Now all she had left was Sophie, and she had to win once!
"Bane, just think you've got something. You're a smart guy and I'm sure you can figure it out. Let me know if you need my help.
Anne's words with a bit of self-mockery, after ten years in prison, nothing, long ago could not find her family.
'Anne, what are you going to do next?’
"Get a job and just get by."
Bane thought for a moment. She knew that people who had been in prison were not likely to get jobs.
Bane took out the money, which was from Bert's purse. It was exactly thirty thousand dollars.
'Anne, if you're not ready to do anything, may I ask you something?'
Anne was very interested. 'What is it?'
"You take the money, and find some men you can trust. I am a strong believer in Sister Anne's methods, and I ask nothing of these men, if they can be trusted."
Anne had been a powerful voice in prison and had known many of her trusted inmates, all of whom she had known by destiny.
Bane took out that card from the pocket, way: "this card has two hundred thousand is do not need to enter the password, you go to the black market to find someone to take out, remember, must hide their whereabouts, get the money remember to inform me, I want to use these money to make money!"
Bane knew she was walking on the fringes of the law, but she had no choice. She needed money right now, and a lot of it.
The medical bills Sophie needed were beyond her means by working, and Sophie was in too much danger with Rosa.
She majored in economics at university, so it wasn't hard for her to take ownership of the business. She had thought about making money that way before, but how could anyone trust a man who had been in prison? Even less likely to give her their own money to run.
She had no choice but to take the risk.
Anne knew what she wanted to do and said yes without hesitation. "No problem! I'll do it!"
Bane smiled. "Thank you for helping me, Anne. Don't worry, I'll keep it in check."
"Ha ha ha, polite what you, that don't say so many, I immediately to do this matter."
After the meal, the two men went on their separate errands.
Bane had taken this step, and was in a particularly cheerful mood.
At this time, mobile phone rang from her pocket, strange call, she directly hung up, but the ringtone and then remembered.
Several times later, Bane couldn't help it and pressed the answer button.
"Bane, will you let me see you again?"
Bane clutched his phone, ready to hang up, but Ward was not a speaking out of turn quitter.
"Ward, it's over between you and me."
"Bane, are you still blaming me for leaving? I don't want to leave either..."
"You think much, even if you did not leave, we will be the same apart."
Bane's heart cut like a knife, and it was with all her might that she said it.
Ward's voice was as soft as I remembered it.
The green days together, the sweet days of those days, had faded into the past, and the Bane he liked had long since disappeared six years earlier.
She wasn't clean anymore, and with Sophie, who had become a mother, Ward deserved better.
"Bane, please give me a chance to see you."
"Don't come to me. Let's be fine!"
A wry smile crossed Ward's face as he watched the beautiful figure not far away. Then he whispered, "Bane, I do love you."
"Doodle doo doo doo..."
Bane hung up the phone, his heart beating fast, with pain, and his eyes watering.
"Bane."
Said Ward's voice behind him.
Bane turned in disbelief and saw the soft-faced Ward, just as he remembered him.
He was the emperor university students recognized as the male god, was the campus people all know the character, is called by countless girls male god.
He had once belonged to her, but now she was no longer worthy of him.
Seeing tears in Bane's eyes, Ward took a quick step forward, and Bane stepped back.
"Bane......"
Bane wiped away his tears. "What did you want to see me about, Sir?" he said.
The discourse has become polite.
Ward gave a wry smile. "Bane," he said, "are you really going to distance us like this?"
Bane malicious heart, way: "we have no relationship, so also should keep a distance, later or don't see, hope you will always be happy later."
Bane turned quickly and ran away.
Ward wanted to run after her, but he was afraid she would run faster if he did and she would fall.
Ward couldn't help but wonder what had happened to Bane in the last few years to get to this point.
It seemed that he should take a good look at what happened in those days.
Not far from the pair, a Maybach was parked.
Bert withdrew his eyes and drummed his fingers rhythmically on the handrail.
Jick took one look at his boss and wondered why he had suddenly stopped.
"Jick, how did you get on Ben Reed?"
Jick could not help feeling a little flurried, but soon regained his composure. "Only a part of it," he said. "It must have been deliberately altered."
"Go ahead."
"Bane Reed's father is Aki Reed, who was left in a vegetative state after a car accident six years ago. Bane Reed is Aki Reed's child from a previous marriage, and Aki Reed is not the biological father of Aki Reed."
"Bane Reed lived at first in S, and was brought to the capital by his father because of the death of his mother, to live with his stepmother and stepdaughter, and the lady was his stepsister."
At this Bert's face visibly changed.
A baptism of Ron's family had come that year, and he was so concerned with dealing with them that he had only sent for someone at the address.
So, it was not that simple.
