Chapter 28

I stormed into Shelton's Corp. I stomped my way into the elevator,.pressing the button into the top floor with excessive force.

When I was finally in the floor of Cayne's office, he was standing there, waiting for the elevator.

He stared at me, clearly surprised. He titled his head to see my pissed and and angry expression.

"Love?"

I pushed him, and there I saw the woman that I've been looking for. A smirk was on her face as she look at me.

In vengeance, I raced towards her and hit her right in the nose. Immediate pain shot from my clenched fist and up my arm, but I didn't bother. I punch her over and over.

Ethan's ex fiance and Shain doesn't deserve to be murdered. And poor Tiff was just in the wrong place and wrong time. She didn't deserve to be put in a coma.

Suddenly strong arms were around my waist, pulling me off to Anica.

Now that I was focused, I could clearly see now that Anica's desk chair was toppled over and the papers on her desk scattered. But she managed to stood up, her face blooded and bruise.

Cayne was holding me close to him, his arms restraining me as I struggle to wiggle out of his grip.

"You bitch," she shrieked, trying to lunge at me, but Nicholas was suddenly there, his face impassive as he held her back.

"You killed Shain and Clara!" I shouted.

She looked shocked, her face got red as she snuck a glance Cayne.

"No, I didn't. How dare you accused me!" She shouted back.

"You fucking liar!" I was very pissed, my whole body trembling, I was aching to hit her again.

"What do you mean, she's the one who killed them? I mean she's with us in New York, remember?" Cayne said with curiosity as he tried to hug me.

I shook my head. "No, Tiff's awake," I snapped, not taking off my eyes at Anica. "She told me what they saw. You framed Clara. Then you killed her and Shain. How dare you! Fuck you!" I shouted at her and struggled again in Cayne's arms and tried to punch her again.

Her eyes widen but then she shook her head. "No, you're fucking lying, and so do your friend. How can I kill someone whom I hadn't met before? I don't know about that Clara girl you are talking about. You're crazy."

"I'm gonna make you pay for what you did." I said and shrugged Cayne's arms off me, storming away.

I waited for the elevator to opened. And when it did I hurriedly step and was surprised when I saw Cayne coming stand beside me.

I sniffed. I didn't even realized that I was crying. His eyes were around me in an instant. I pulled myself together as the elevator doors open and leaned back to look at him.

"I'm sorry for kicking that bitch's ass in your office," I apologized.

He chuckled," There's no need for you to apologized. "You look sexy as hell for kicking her and punching her ass." He winked.

My face warmed and rolled my eyes at him. He definitely knew how to change my mood.

"Don't worry. Nicholas and Lucas is already working on it. Soon enough, we will be able to know if Anica is really the person behind the death of your friend." He said as he pulled to hug me.

I just nodded. Cayne told me that he was about to come fetch me because we will be going somewhere. But then I came.

When we were already outside the company, Lucas was waiting for us. He opened the door for me to enter. Then the car started moving to it's destination.

Minutes later, we were standing in front of a house. A tiny, warm looking place that seemed to radiate love out of every corner.

"Why are we here?" I asked, feeling beyond confused.

"We've been working on a plan. My father, Rechie, Nicholas, Lincoln and Lucas. And it was to keep you safe from Anica until we had found some evidence. But after what you gave to her which is a much needed punch in the nose. I'm afraid I don't know what moves she'll make even more." He frowned.

I shuddered as I caught the underlying message in Cayne's words. Anica is unpredictable now.

"However, one thing that life though me was to always step one ahead of my enemy." He knocked on the front door.

Almost immediately, a beautiful curly blonde hair opened the door. Her twinkled as she pulled him into a hug.

"You idiot," she said grinning, "Why haven't you come and visit me often?"

" I was very busy, Lily, and yeah, I missed you too." He rolled his eyes as if he were annoyed, but there was a smile on his face.

"Of course you are, and I missed you too." She said, fixing her blue eyes on mine. A color of exact shade and hue as Cayne's.

"Lily, this is my wife, Raszhiel. Love, meet my sister, Lily."

3rd Person POV

Anica wiped away the very last blood on the corner of her lips. She looked at herself in the mirror, anger immediately took her. Her nose was broken and her lip was busted, she looked like mess and hell.

She grumbled against her breathe, pissed. That bitch had made a big mistake, she thought, opening the drawer and pulling out her spare gun.

She marched into her father's office. As he turned to look at her, he was surprised and came face to face with his father with a gun pointing at him.

"Anica?" He asked in complete shock. "What the hell are you doing? Out that gun down."

"I tried to give you a choice, whether to help me or not, but you chose the wrong decision." Her voice were low, but it can be sense that she is completely pissed and angry, dangerous.

"Calm down honey."

"No! You're my father and I'm your daughter. You're supposed to help me. So now, I'm gonna do things on my own way. Goodbye, father."

She said as she pulled the trigger of the gun that she was holding. Blood snapped all over her body.
