Cayne's seemed much more relaxed after meeting with her sister Lily. He was more like himself, a lot less worried which I was happy to see.

We've been also having a very active sex life. I was pleased and hally on how normal this seemed to me.

"Anyways, I will be leaving for an hour to get something." He said, slowly combing my hair.

"Where?"

"That's a surprise, love." He winked at me that made me blushed.

"Surprised my foot." I said while giggling.

"And Lily, I think will be back for a few hours also after finishing her shoot." I nodded. "Don't worry, there's a maid here that will be staying with you."

Her sister left for work. I'm not surprised when she said that she worked as a model, because she really look like one.

"Don't opened the door for anyone okay?"

"Yes sure."

I was about to ask something when he crushed his lips onto mine, his arms pulled me closer to him.

My question can wait, I thought as I let him take me away from a sudden sensation.

Cayne's POV

I went outside to give Raszhiel a surprise. Her friend, Tiff got discharged from the hospital and I was planning to take her to my sister's house where Raszhiel is now staying.

But when I was on my way to the hospital, I got a sudden call from an unknown number.

He looked at his phone ringing with one perfect brow raised, confusion is shining in his eyes.

When he answered the call, a man from the other line spoke.

"You have to get the girl," he said panting.

"Who's this?" He asked in complete confusion.

"It's Joaquin," his eyes went wide.

"What do you mean?" he stopped the car, and sudden emotions came into his heart. He panicked immediately.

"Anica almost killed me, and she's after your girl. You have...----" Cayne cut off the call. He didn't need to hear anymore, he turned the car back again to her sisters house. He had to get there on time. He had to.

If something bad happened to her. He'll die.

Raszhiel's POV

I was focused on watching Agents of Shield and I was really into it. I was on the very first episode but I got hooked.

Cayne had left half an hour ago and I was left with a housekeeper. She was cleaning and I could hear the sound of her voice humming softly in the kitchen.

I was so into the show when I heard a loud thud from the kitchen. I got up, hoping that the housekeeper hadn't fainted. And when I went into the kitchen, she was on the floor. All I could ever see was her feet, because the island of the kitchen counter was covering the rest of her body.

I rushed to her quickly and saw blood puring from the back of her head.

I got scared and was about to back away when I landed in a strong pair of arms. But those strong pair of arms weren't the same one that I was thinking. It held me tightly.

So I struggled to get free, but the arms wouldn't budge. I clawed at the person behind me, I fought as much as possible, but the arms around me grew tighter.

Then it shove something to cover my nose and mouth. I involuntary breathe to get some air. As soon as I did, I began to felt dizzy and soon hold my eyes to open as possible. I don't wanna close my eyes from that very moment. I tried to fight it hard.

But against my will, I succumbed into darkness.
