And he wasn't kidding about what he said. As soon as we arrived at his house, he just dropped my things in his room and immediately grabbed me for a kiss. It was intense and deep. His hands quickly removed my clothes, and who am I to refuse?

"Can I?" I asked while looking at him.

Rozzean smiled and nodded, handing me the razor and cream. I applied the cream to his face, focused on the task while Rozzean sat, his hands on my waist.

"Am I doing it right?" I asked as I applied the cream to his chin.

He just nodded, and I continued. Afterward, I used the razor, concentrating on shaving him while he looked up at me. When I finished, I smiled. Rozzean stood up, cleaned his face, and I took the towel to dry him.

"Hmm... I like doing this," I said to him.

He held my waist and pulled me close, kissing my forehead, down to my nose, until he reached my lips.

"Then, my baby will do it. You can do everything you want with me."

After both of us showered and Rozzean fell asleep, I went downstairs to the kitchen. I saw Manang preparing our dinner. I smiled; earlier, when we arrived, she wasn't here. It seemed like she had somewhere to go.

"Manang..."

She quickly turned to me, surprise in her eyes. I walked towards her and hugged her. I missed her so much! Now, we're really together here!

"T-Tali-- I mean Thaliana... hija, oh..."

I gently stroked Manang's back. When I pulled away, I saw tears glistening in her eyes. I knew Manang was one of those who worried a lot when I suddenly disappeared here at Rozzean's house.

"I'm really sorry for what I did, Manang. I know I caused you so much worry. I am very sorry, Manang... sorry..."

She held my cheeks and shook her head. Manang smiled at me while caressing my face.

"Don't be silly... that's in the past, child. What matters now is this, that you and sir are happy, in love. I didn't really believe what you told me back then, I couldn't believe it, but now I truly believe! It's still surprising, though, Thaliana that... you're a child of a wealthy family!"

I nodded at what Manang said, and she hugged me again.

"What are you cooking? Let me help you!" I offered.

"I didn't want to, but I'm sure sir would be happier if you're the one cooking," she replied with a smile.

I spent my time cooking with Manang in the kitchen. By the time we finished, it was already seven in the evening. I also prepared the dining area for the meal. Rozzean was still asleep and hadn't come down yet.

"Just a moment, Manang, I'll call Rozzean—"

"Thaliana!"

My eyebrows furrowed upon hearing his loud shout. I quickly walked towards Rozzean, alarmed.

"Thaliana!"

"Manang! Did you see..."

Rozzean stopped when he saw me in front of him. He walked towards me and suddenly embraced me. His chest was heaving, and I could feel the tremors in his body as he held me.

I couldn't speak right away. My lips were slightly parted in surprise. My hands froze, unable to reciprocate Rozzean's hug, feeling the tremors in his body.

"Thaliana... I... I thought you left me."

He pulled away from me, and I saw the fear in his eyes.

"I just went downstairs... I also helped Manang in the kitchen. I'm not leaving, Rozzean. I won't leave you."

He closed his eyes tightly. He didn't open them for a long time. My breath became heavier as I witnessed his reaction. I hurt him so badly when I left as Tali. Until now, he's struggling to accept that I won't leave him again. He's still scared.

"Rozzean..."

I held both sides of his face, enclosing his face in my palms.

"I am not going anywhere, baby... I'm not leaving you anymore."

He nodded three times, but his eyes remained closed. When he opened them, the fear was still there. One of Rozzean's hands lifted, holding my hand on his face.

"We are getting married soon, I will not leave you. I will never leave you, Rozzean, and if you are scared, then I will stay here in your house, hmm?"

He nodded again.

I shook my head at him. It's my fault that he's feeling this scared.

"I should be the one to apologize," I held the back of his neck and hugged him. I caressed his back to soothe him.

"I made you like this. I am sorry, but I won't leave, okay? I won't leave you, Rozzean. I will stay by your side. If you can't help but think about it, I am always here to remind you that I won't leave."

He returned the hug, tighter. I felt the trembling in his body subsiding. He wasn't gasping for breath anymore. I felt relieved because he was calming down now.

Rozzean was so scared.

"I love you, baby... I love you so much..." he whispered in my ear.
