The Preliminary Screening

We are at the Preliminary Screening. I honestly don't know what we are going to do here.

George is so familiar with the show and told me that it's a Preliminary Temptation Screening and I should be prepared for the outcome.

He promised that he will not get tempted, No matter how beautiful and sexy the women they will hire to tempt him.

His Mom flies to the US with her sister. I didn't even know that his Mom has a rich sister living outside the country!

Somewhat, I felt scammed. But I can't refuse anymore. I already gave him my support in joining this contest.

My co-workers supported me as well as our Boss. They are also a fan of this Show!

And I guess I'm the only one who doesn't like the Game Show but here I am willing to join for the sake of Love!

Isn't it funny?

I am at the last line and entered the room last. We are 10 women from the last batch.

We are sitting in the middle of the room. I suddenly felt nervous and excited. It's just a preliminary though but I need to pass! If not, George will surely be lonely and sad.

"Girls, Remember. No touching! If you touch even the hair of our boys. You are disqualified automatically. You are all free to see but not to touch!" The TV host said excitedly.

Yeah, we are Live right now! And I don't know what I look like. The cameras are hidden well. We don't know where it is!

I don't care but I'm afraid of my parents. I forgot to tell them that I will join. Only my company knows when I take one day off for this screening.

Monet will surely be jumping noisily while looking at her television.

The lights suddenly went off and Handsome boys entered the room. There are five of them.

Well-built body and attractive biceps and abs.

They are wearing cowboy attire and are dancing to slow seductive music.

The girl beside me gets excited. Her mouth is hanging open while looking at the boys in front of us. But like me, she is just silently looking at them.

I know that she is fighting with her inner demon not to be tempted. Goodluck Girl!

"Whoah! What is this? No Temptation please huhu." The last in the line girl shouted.

I just shook my head. There's nothing special at all. They look like a performer on television. I don't know, why girls are easily attracted to a handsome look.

The boys suddenly took off their clothes! In fairness, it makes me blink a few times. They all got a well-sculpted bodies. But then again, It will never catch my attention. But the girls are so noisy!

They are crazy with their abs and attractive masculine figure.

"Oh, my God. Go away Temptation!" One woman shouted but the boy walk towards her and danced in front. Tempting her to touch him.

And that's it! She is tempted to touch his abs and a noisy alarm is heard all over the room followed by a red light.

Two big men entered the room and Guided the woman outside. And we heard a voice saying...

"Failed!" In a loud and clear tone.

Too bad for her. She is weak and easily gets tempted.

But I was surprised when the other boy come and dance in front of me! He is biting his lips while touching his abs. Inviting me to touch him.

I blink a few times and take a deep breath. Trying to control myself not to touch him. He dances gracefully while looking at me with his intense look.

I just smile at him with a message written all over my face.

Nice try! And raise my right eyebrow.

At the end of the day. Half of us got tempted and the remaining half passed.

We are told to come back on Friday night because there is a live and final Screening.

I just can't believe that I passed!

I'm excited to see George. And told him that I did it.

I'm in a hurry outside when I suddenly bump into something hard! And it hits my head hurtfully.

"Ouch! Just watch where you are walking!" I angrily shouted.

But there is no reply from the person in front of me. I lifted my head and was greeted by a beautiful brown eye!

I blink a few times and went back to reality.

It's a handsome boy? Or a man? I don't know. He looks young and got a tantalizing brown eye that will surely captivate every woman.

Wake up, Catherine!

Don't tell me that you are tempted easily by a man's eye. You already passed the screening. Don't make your life complicated. And for goodness sake, You already have George and that is enough!

I scolded myself. I don't care if he got tantalizing eyes or is dangerously handsome.

My forehead is aching right now!

I touch it and felt a small swollen in there.

"Look at what you've done!" I told him angrily but he is like a statue.

He is just looking at me without blinking.

Is he okay? Did I hurt him with my forehead?

But I'm the one who got hurt!

Out of kindness, I approach him kindly.

"Are you okay?" I asked in a kind voice and touches his shoulder. Maybe my forehead is strong enough to hurt him?

I don't know!

But out of the blue, he pushes me away! Good thing that I manage to balance and didn't stumble.

What the fvck!

"Don't touch me. AGAIN!" He shouted angrily.

I can see a wave of raging anger inside his eyes! His tantalizing brown eyes became the eyes of a monster!

What did I do? He's the one who bumped into me and his very angry!

What is happening in this cruel world?

He leave me hanging and didn't look back.

He looks down on me because I am poor but I will never tolerate that boastful behavior!

I chase after him and blocked his way.

"You're an arrogant idiot! Look at what you've done?" I asked pointing at my swollen forehead.

He just chuckled and give me an annoying smirk.

"Don't worry, I will pay for that forehead of yours." Then he gets his wallet and throws away the five thousand money bill in front of me!

"Here, it's more than enough for you. And please don't appear in front of me AGAIN!" He said then walked out without looking back.

"Devil bastard!" I shouted out of frustration.

I felt small because I'm poor.

Rich people are all evil!

He didn't even apologize for what he's done.

Even if I'm angry. I pick up the five thousand bill that is scattered all over the floor. We cannot earn this easily!

Except for that bullshit bastard. He looks rich but has no respect.

I don't want to see his face again!

People are looking at me but I don't care. I continued to pick up the money until I heard George's voice at my back.

"Babe, I passed the screening!" He is happily shouting and running.

I can see how happy he is. I guess all of my effort in joining this contest is worth it.

I smile at him and continue to pick up the last one thousand bill.

"What are you doing in there? It's time to celebrate!" He pulled me away and ride in his car.

He brings me to our favorite place where yummy street foods are there. What I like the most here is this fish ball while George likes to eat Kwek-kwek. A quail egg coated with flour.

"Congrats Babe," I said happily.

"Thank you. Oh, What about you?" He asked excitedly.

"I passed too," I answered smiling.

"That's my Babe! I'm so proud of you." He suddenly lifts me while kissing my forehead.

"What happened?" He asked worriedly when he noticed the small swelling in it.

"I just bumped earlier. But don't worry, It's just a scratch." I answered.

I don't want to remember that arrogant bastard! May he go to hell as if I care.
