The Final Screening

My Mom and Dad scolded me when I got home. They are a well-respected teacher in our hometown. Although we are not rich they are known for being religious.

They are hurt when I decided to take an Accounting course instead of becoming a teacher like them. And they think that it is much more than worst when I became a Secretary in a small Company.

And now they are lecturing me for joining such a poor game show!

"Where is your spiritual guide, Catherine? They all left and let you join this- this kind of game!" My Mom is exaggerating and I don't even understand what she is talking about.

Good thing my Dad is silent at the corner. But disgust is shown all over his face. As if I failed them for being their only child!

"Mom, It's just a game! My Boss even allowed me to join. And here you are nagging me for a nonsense conversation." I answered feeling frustrated.

"Ever since you have a relationship with that Engineer. You didn't respect us at all. Just go, you are an adult already. You don't need our parenting!" She said crying and left.

"Dad-" But he didn't listen to me and left too.

I felt like being trapped in two large mountains! I love George and I love my parents. But they are strict and overprotective. I can understand as I am their only daughter and child.

But I also want freedom for myself! Hope they understand too.

I sleep that night with tears in my eyes and a heavy heart...

AT THE FINAL SCREENING

All are excited because this is the moment of truth that we are all been waiting for.

But can you imagine how many people or couples are here? It's 5 thousand and they came from different provinces just like us.

We are here at Takahashi Colosseum which is owned by the owner himself. I'm just amazed at how rich they are!

"People of the Philippines, Are you ready?" The host shouted.

They are all ready and excited! But I suddenly feel a little nervous. I'm just overthinking, What if we fail?

George will surely be devastated. Just wondering what game did they prepare? Five thousand people are no joke at all!

"Ready!!!" Everyone shouted excitedly including George!

I'm just silent beside him. I don't know why I don't feel excited! What is happening to me?

Is it because I knew from within that I don't like to join but did it for the sake of relationship and love? But, I will do everything. Because that is me!

Am I being unfair to my parents? I don't know!

I think I should focus first and do my best in this contest so that George will have nothing to say.

"It's called a Game of Luck. Yes, you heard it right! Everyone looks under your couple's chair. If you got the number from 1 to 200 Please come up here on the stage. Good luck People!" The host cheerfully shouted.

Everyone shouted in excitement and look under their chair.

"I'm nervous Babe," George said without smiling.

I touch his hand and give him my sweetest smile. This is the time that he needs me the most. Showing my undying support for him.

"Babe, think positive. We will win and luck will favor us!" I said cheerfully.

He takes a deep breath and looks under his chair.

"Okay, let's do this. Babe couple for the win!" He shouted excitedly.

I did the same and look under my chair. And I see a small piece of paper. I get it and was very shocked seeing the number 1 written on it.

"Yehey! We got it, Babe." George shouted happily and carry me into his arms. And I wave my paper in the air.

We are one lucky couple indeed!

"Congratulations to those lucky 200 couples! Come here now, up on the stage." The Host shouted.

We come up to the stage with George still carrying me.

"Put me down babe hehe," I whispered.

I'm ashamed but at the same time proud of my Boyfriend.

"Shhhh, just let them see how sweet and strong our relationship is." He answers feeling proud.

All 200 couples are finally gathered at the center of the stage.

My palm is sweating and perspiration is all over my face.

I'm nervous and finally excited! For the final screening.

"This is the final moment couples! You can shout all you want after this If you will be lucky. You all know that we will only be choosing 100 couples right?" He asked.

"Yeah!" The crowd answered in unison.

"Now, the Final Screening is on!" The host shouted and the curtains from the wall falls.

And sexy boys and girls in a bikini and swimming trunks greeted us. The crowd is so noisy looking at the physical beauty in front of them.

I look at George nervously but he just smirks at them.

I felt relief! Thank God that he is not tempted at all.

"Hush people. Let me tell you the mechanics of the game but before that, say goodbye first to your loves for just a minute only hehe. All boys please go to the left and all girls, go to the right!" The host shouted.

And we did what he said.

"Very good. This game is called Adam and Eve's Apple! Sounds exciting?" He asks mysteriously.

"Cool!!" The crowd answered.

The sexy boys and girls are positioned in the middle of the stage holding an apple. There are many apples inside the basket and it's scattered all around.

I was surprised when they sit down and put the apple they are holding on their lap!

It's a challenge indeed. In our 5 years of relationship, we didn't reach this kind of flirting or romance!

Now we will do it but with other people.

It isn't fair but for the sake of winning. I will do it!

I look at George. He remains cool and not affected. And I look like I'm going to have the death penalty!

Relax, Catherine. You can do it!

No one can encourage me right now, except for myself.

"Get ready couples. All you need to do is to eat that apple. Don't eat anything! Only the apple or else you will be disqualified. Goodbye Switzerland and 300 Billion pesos. And remember, Don't use your hands! Eat the apple with your mouth. The more you eat, the more chances of winning. You will only be given 10 minutes. The Billionaire's Temptation Game, Begins! Good luck couples." Said the host and he went down to the stage sitting and looking at us.

Men in black appeared with a cap and black shades that gives them a mysterious appearance.

They look like a Gangster or a Mafia! They guided us in the middle. I am in the first batch as I get the number 1 as well as George.

We are divided into 10 groups of 10 people. The apple looks crispy and sweet but the one who is with the apple looks tempting and delicious.

What did I say? Am I tempted easily?

No, I am not but I can't deny the fact that they look handsome!

Who could have resisted them? I look at George and the girls are all very sexy and beautiful. Their curves are perfect and have a coco melon breast!

Sexy music was played signaling us to begin the game. I take a deep breath, looking at the delicious apple above the big candle.

I can do it!

I kneel and begin to eat the apple. It's difficult to eat using only our mouths! But the clock is ticking and I need to eat the apple as much as I can.

I concentrate and eat it without looking at anyone. Especially the boy in front of me.

But he moan when I suddenly touched his candle that is hard as steel!

Well, I don't care at all. I need to win and continue to eat.

Just let him moan as loud as he can. I don't care!

The clock alarms and it's time to stop. I am satisfied with my apple. I eat almost all of it but I did not dig deeper because the boy is so noisy and moaning.

He winks at me when I look at him. What the fvck!

I rolled my eyes and didn't look at him again.

The next batch followed and the stage was covered by a red light. A noisy alarm like the sound of an ambulance can be heard all over the place and I felt like my ear is broken.

"ELIMINATED!"

I can't bear to look at those people who are eliminated. They are doing such a nasty act and don't care about their partners! They are tempted instead of eating their apples!

The bloody temptation screening has ended and the host announced the 100 winners.

And we are so happy that we passed the Final Screening! George could not hide how happy he is and is keep on shouting.

"Calm down couples. Next week we are going to Lust Island in Switzerland! Are you excited?" The Host asks happily.

"Yeah!!!" The crowd shouted.

"Then, see you next week. Goodluck couples! But before that, Let's party!" The host said and loud rock sounds were played.

They have a surprise party for the 100 couples who win. Free food and drinks for everyone and at the same time, this will be our despedida party.

"Congrats Friend!" I can see Monet shouting from afar and holding a cup of wine.

"Thank you. Why are you here?" I asked.

"Of course, for free food and drinks haha. They open the gate for everyone. So, Let's party!" She said cheerfully.

George pulls me to the corner.

"Babe, Thank you." He said sincerely while holding my hand.

I was touched by what he said. And my tears fall without me knowing.

"Everything for you, Babe," I answered lovingly and he touches my face gently and give me a gentle kiss with respect. I kiss him back to let him feel how much I love him.

"Whoa! Stop kissing. I'm here, you two know how to make me jealous huh? Let's party!" Monet shouted crazily and we all laugh.

It's a happy despida party!
