Chapter 54 Seduced

"I love you."

He whispered for the nth time and kissed the back of my palm. My face heated again and I focused my sight on the road. Still can't believe that this is all happening.

"You're going to focus on driving."

I would have removed my hand from his hand but he just tightened his grip on it and looked at me with his puffy eyes. I just snorted and laughed a little.

I know ... I can't get enough of you too. I also didn't know I could do that thing. It never crossed my mind that I will be able to propose to a man. I didn't even think that he would propose to me. There was nothing and no one but the two of us. It's not special on the eye but it was important to me because it happened in front of the people I love.

"Levi, will you marry me?"

His eyes blinked twice and breathing became loud like he's opening up a pent emotion inside of him. His breathing somehow became a slight laugh like he cannot believe what I just did. My heart was even more worried about his reaction. He let go both of my hands and grabbed a handful of his hair.

Stand up and don't look up too much, then turn away from me. A stung of pain slashed in my heart, is that a no? I quickly stood up and looked behind him. My tears were left in the air and my heart seemed to come out with the force of its beating.

"Damn ... Damn, damn." I heard him whisper as he gently shook his head.

"Levi, is that a no-"

Before I was done he quickly confronted me and I almost fell for the kiss he awarded me. Strictly, that confirmed to me what his answer was. I gasped my breath when he ended it. His face was still a few inches from mine, I looked into his eyes and couldn't help but smile because of the pity I felt.

"You don't have to ask because I'll marry you at all cost. Even if I ask you a million times, just to make you say yes then I'll do it."

Tears welled up in my eyes but no longer because of grief but because of my great love for him. I hugged him so tight and cried into his chest for God knows how long. We stayed for a few more minutes because he gave his courtesy to my late parents.

"My dad may have failed you but I'm sure this is a sure win for your daughter."

Those were his words that I remember the most. And there, it did felt like a dream. But no, my reality now is more than just a dream.

"Where are we going?"

I asked him when he realized that we were on a different path.

"I have something to show you." I frowned when he said that. Not far from the mansion of the Solidads, he turned his car into a downhill lane towards a ...

"Wait Levi, this way is ..."

I could no longer continue the words, he gave a timid smile and further confirmed my suspicion when on that very road he straightened the car. This way is through our island ... before. But now there is an owner of this place. It's privately owned so I don't know why we even went here.

My gaze did not rest wondering what's ahead of us or just me ... what is it that he will show me in the place where I grew up? I last came here more than five years ago there were buildings being built ... so what now? After a couple of minutes when we arrived on the vicinity of this property.

The rear of athe only thing I could see was a big house and when he maneuvered the steering wheel again towards the front of it my eyes almost popped out.

"You didn't ..."

I whispered, dumbfounded. I almost forgot to breath looking at the mansion just a few meters away from me.

"Yes I did."

He chuckled. I felt him open his door to get out while I was still incredulous and just an idiot in that house. I can't believe this, is this even a dream? He opened the door beside me, causing me to wake up in a trance. He was all smiling looking how amused I am. I almost fell down on his Prado because I could no longer see the height of the step I was going to step on.

"Careful ..."

"Is this for real?" Still unbelievable looking at the vast building in front of me.

"Looks familiar?" He mocked me and held my waist and kissed my hair.

"What do you mean, it looks familiar? I drew this!"

I said hysterically as I looked at every corner and design made here. It's been like forever since I drew the outside structure of this house- dream house for my family.

The ones I drew before weren't even complete so I can't believe he did everything right. I heard him laugh as he guided me to the lofty house. Entering the enchanting gates of entrance, I took a glimpse of the beautiful and extravagant garden.

I rubbed my face and faced him, my eyes were almost pitying but he seemed to be just laughing at me for my reaction. "Even the garden? Really?" I remember telling him before that I wanted an open and wide garden. I said I might be here more often than indoors. He really did invest on it, even a fountain and all these grass and neat formation of plants ... I can't believe it. Has it been a long time?

"When did you do this?" Still not releasing my waist he pressed me to his body. Me, all attention is around.

"The first time I asked you."

My jaw dropped. That's so long ago? My tears welled up and I slapped his chest repeatedly.

"I was saving up for this! You preceded me! How much and I'll share." His laugh grew louder and he kissed the tears on my cheeks.

"Now that you have your dream house, you have a company and a building named after you. What more do you need so you can finally marry me, huh?" He's still teasing. He's all I need. Instead of noticing and repeating what he said I bowed down and could not hold back the tears. The pain in my eyes because I seem to have been crying all day.

"Hey ..."

He lifts my chin with his finger so our eyes will meet. I pouted looking at him.

"Here in this island, where all you can remember is pain and gruesome memories, we'll built new once. Let's replace all of that, hmm?"

I nodded and he brushed his lips to mine. Why did I even do to deserve him? I love him to death.

"What about the library?" I asked. I don't know how many more questions he has. Ever since we went inside I was even more amazed. Since I only drew the outside structure, I had no idea what he was doing inside. Fully furnished, fully furnished as if someone already lives here.

"The library is also the office. But if you wanted to change-"

"No! That's perfectly fine." I don't want anything else here. Its interior is enormous. Three floors and very different sa design of his penthouse. It really got my personality, the vibes are classic but subtle and elegant.

"For now, it's just the house that I've decided to build because I didn't know if you wanted to have some of your touches.

Is he kidding me? Three story house, lots of rooms and there's only the two of us. What else can I ask for here? "Hmm ... what about the house helps? Maybe it's better if we just make them their own compound in the vicinity since there's only the two of us." He pursed his lips and nodded. He was leaning on the grand piano distracting to one side as I looked at the that were there.

I let my finger brushed to it. No dust and obviously cared for.

"And the pool ... What if we placed it above for a good view?" I saw the extension of the small gorge on the second floor and I saw that it looked good to put the pool there.

"Oh, do you think it's okay to put a boardwalk there?"

I pointed outside and my eyes almost blinked. He approached me and my eyes were sweating.

"Whatever you wanted. This all yours." I smiled as I encircled my arms to his neck. I nodded and looked around the house.

"It's just ... I know this is my dream but somehow I feel a little bit empty." I sighed. He just listened to me. "Do you think it's better if Lucy and Lourd stays here? There's only the two of us ..." I whispered. He smiled. It was as if I felt some heartache in that smile of his. Feels like he's assuring me yet he's wants it too. I know we have the same in mind, he's of age while I'm still young.

I just got my licence and I'm just starting my plans and while him, he'd achieved so much already, I'm the only he's waiting. And it hurts me knowing that I know he wants to have his family but I don't know if I'm ready for that.

"Can I marry you first?" I whispered. He laughed faintly more like amused on what he heard.

"What? What do you mean?"

"You're of age, and I know ... you want to have a child at that age. While me, I don't even know if I'll be ready for that and if I'll be a good mother at this- "

"Shhh." He shut my lips with his thumb and planted a light kiss on it. Just with that and all of my worries seems to disappear.

"You are all I ever wanted in this lifetime. I'm very much contented with just you, because you are more than enough."

One kiss again and I gasped my breath. His kissed are like feathers tickling my stomach. He hangs in the air every time he speaks.

"And you ... you will be a great mother to our children. Even at this day," I could no longer understand what he was saying because of the thirst for the kiss he was giving. His lips planted some feathery kiss under my ears until it went down on my neck. I felt frustrated and it making me want to have more.

"Or in another lifetime." He bit my neck softly and I let out a soft moan.

"Levi ..." I couldn't recognize the voice that came out of me at what he did. It's been so long since we last did that. I would lie if I'll say that I didn't think about it.

When in fact, every time I missed him all I could think of was his kisses and touch. Slowly, his kisses went up to my ears andhe nibble it like he's teasing me. I bit my lip and curled my body. The fire of desire spreads like a wildfire, unforgiving, pour water and it will spread even more.

"When do you want to have my last name? I'm so eager to mark my territory."

He whispered. I swallowed the pressure in my throat as I felt my cheeks heated.

"W-when do you want to?" I said in a small voice.

Her eyes widened even more as she read her lips. I stared at it.

"If it's possible now, why not?"

"H-ha? Now? P-but we haven't talked to your mama and papa yet."

He looked up and hold the smile on his lips that was trying to escape. While I'm still confused looking at his wet and reddish lips.

"Of course, yes ... we have to wait for them."

I did not understand what he said. I gulped and still looked at his lips. As my hands ruffled the two parts of the open button of her dress. Looking so eager for whatever I want to do.

"Let's go?"

"H-huh? Are we leaving?" I think the tone of what I said was still wrong.

"Yes." The ghost of smile on his lips maid me annoyed for some reasons. My shoulders immediately dropped and I was stunned by what he had said.

"Okay." I said softly and turned my back on him first. I even heard him laugh but I was already pissed as I marched out. I just want the grounds to eat me right now! It was embarrassing and it seemed like I really wanted what would happen next and I was really thirsty for him.

Opposite the car he was still ahead of me with a deep smile on his lips. I accidentally map irap as he opens the door for me until I enter and get on.

"So sad I don't have it with me today."

"What !?" He was taken back because of my sudden annoyance, reason for him not to close the door and approach me. He was a few inches away from my face.

"Stop being sulky, my wife. We still have the life time to do that. Maybe you just give up."

And he planted a smack on my lips before he closed the door. Goodness, embarrassing! The day after that, I spent my left over vacation with Lucy and Lourd.

We spent our time there while Levi flew back to Manila. He did not want to leave but when he mentioned to me that he needed to do something, I urged him to return so that he could talk to his parents as well. I settled some things before leaving.

No one still knows what Levi and I have, I feel like Lourd has the right to know but I don't want to ruin their vacation. So I decided to just tell it when we come back to Manila. Even though I only had one day to stay in Mar De Vena I was still able to talk to Ethan about projects and charities I could help with.

Lourd met Ethan at the wedding, he was continiously eyeing Ethan while talking to me so it also ended up with me explaining about charity. When he knew about it, he got interested. So he decided to make peace with Ethan.

"A non-profit orphanage?"

Ethan asked back.

"Yes. Do you think it's possible to ... built something like that here in Mar De Vena?" I asked with mixed hesitation. He did not answer, instead a hint of amusement could be seen in his eyes. I smile lightly.

I don't know if I'm asking for too much but I talked about it with Lourd. My reason is that, this is my way of pay back. I remember when I had no parentsg and the Solities are my harbors.

I wondered how many more children like me but were not fortunate enough to be adopted by families like Solidad?

"My brother agreed to hand in some help. If we can make it at least fifty percent possible then can you help me, and do something about it?"

"Wow ... I mean ... Of course! Why not? I'm just a bit surprised. You know if you just don't have jowa, I'll jinowa you."

"What?" I laughed.

"I like boys but I also like girls, Ava."

He said manly reason for me to laugh even more.

"So what is it?"

"Don't worry. I'll take care of everything. We can just catch up from time to time since you're coming back to Manila."

I can't help but rejoice inside. I knew it, after all he's the Governor's son. For sure he can do something about it. I can't believe that from a short period of time, I had a friend here in Mar De Vena. I still remember back then because I didn't have any friends, so I couldn't help but be surprised now how quickly Ethan and I reconciled in an unexpected turn of events.

"Architect, I've already proof read some documents."

My assistant

"What about the presentation? Please make sure we have some copies for different flash drives." I reminded. I was gone for two weeks and things turned to ways I expected it to be. So here I am hustling my ass of because of my supposed to be proposal for a project. My team has been working on it for a few months and this is my first project since I'm new in this company. I can't help but to get nervous of the outcome.

"And also Architect, I'll just ask if you have anyone to chase? I'm only half a day away now. My sister is in the hospital."

I looked at her and smiled. "It's fine. The presentation for tomorrow is okay, isn't it? And the team?"

He nodded and smiled. "I'll just pass the hard copy they asked for to VREC, ma'am." "What?"

I fired back. His eyes still seemed confused but he also answered me. "I already emailed the soft copy to the in charge but, they are asking for a hard copy for documenting purposes."

"You mean ... VREC?"

"Yes please."

I was silent and hesitant. I don't cover the part of the project where the investors are and such so I'm not aware that his company is also involved. He hasn't mentioned anything to me since he came back here or anything. Maybe he didn't notice the amount of investments and projects he had.

"I'll be the one to deliver. Just go to your sister's hospital."

"Ma'am? It's okay and I'll just pass by."

She insisted. I looked at her bluntly and smile timidly and by that she understood me. I'm never the uptight type of boss or what. As much as possible, I don't want to be angry with them because I know we all have a hard time with our own work.

It was 3 o'clock when I finished other important things. I eyed my phone on the desk. I don't know why I seem to think differently about him. He used to be the clingy type of a boyfriend, calls and texts me often and bugs me from time to time.

But since he left from Mar De Vena, somehow something inside has been bugging me since then. I mean, I know we are different now. But I'm still worried that he might not love me like he loved me before? Maybe he was just forced to answer me because he was under pressure because the woman who proposed? But what about the house?

Oh God, I think I was just being immature. Couldn't he have felt the same way about me before? Now that he's matured while I'm just in the phase of being like this ... now I understand him. I picked up my cellphone and looked at his last message.

Levi: Good morning. Eat you breakfast.

Me: Good morning. You too.

Levi: I love you.

That's just because I can't reply anymore. I saw his lunch message so I was embarrassed to reply to him. I bit my lips comprehending if I should say to him the I'll be going to his company or is he even there?

One more run through from the presentation for tomorrow, then I decided to pack up and leave more early than my usual out.

"No appointment. I just need to drop these documents."

I look like an alien when a woman in the lobby looks at me. She's still the woman I remember being here. It's just been almost a year, of course she's still here.

"If it's just documents, you can just leave it here and only the one in charge will take it."

"Right." I smiled raw. Slowly handed over the folder and still didn't leave it.

"Is it ... possible to talk to Engineer Vidalio right now?" She looked at me, obviously judging me. But I still smiled at him even though I no longer had a face to present to him. I can just call or message why would I even do this? "I'm sorry ma'am but you don't have an appointment. And Mr. Vidalio is also busy, just come back when you have an appointment."

I winced especially at his tone as if he really wanted me to disappear in front of him. I just nodded and left in front of him. Exactly when I leave there is the opening of the elevator that I will pass.

To my surprise, I saw Cali and he looked surprise seeing me too. He has a good posture now and is not like how I often see him look. He's on a complete corporate attire, not with the open buttons but with a tie.

"Hey what's up?"

The two men looked at the desk.

"Hi. I just delivered some documents."

"What?" He chuckled. Like what he just heard was funny. I did not answer him.

"You're going home?" He asked again.

"Yes very much."

"Uhm, yes?" He confirmed. I nodded. He licked his lips and shifted on his position.

"Why don't you deliver on high?"

"It's just here. I'll take incharge-"

He raised his index finger and shook. I don't know why it seems like everything Levi's brother does I can't get. We just won't jive. Half of him was like Lourd and half of him was like out of this world.

"Take that upstairs. I'm the boss here."

My brows furrowed. He passed me and went to the desk. Something was said to the woman and it took a while longer because of their conversation. I saw how he flaunted his charms on the woman.

"Deliver that." I got offended by his tone so that emotion kind of passed through my eyes.

"Hey just a joke."

It whispered. He turned once to the people and followed me in a lift when it opened.

"I'm sorry. Don't report me to bro." he said like a child while pressing the floor button. I laughed at the thought and thought he knew so what Levi and I had.

"But I don't know who is in charge of these documents."

He stared at the folder I was holding as if he also realized what I said. He just winked at me and smile looking at the floor. Arriving at the floor Cali's simple greeting to still did not escape me. There, the woman hardly noticed me.

"Ms. Suarez?"

Bettina asked amusedly. They are still the same employee here. I just smiled as he nodded slightly.

"Are you busy bro?"

Cali asked leaning forward.

"Engineer Vidalio has a meeting."

"A while ago?"

"Since this afternoon Sir."

"Cali, it's okay. I'll just leave the documents here. He seems busy."

Exactly what I said then was the opening of the door of his office. And we all turned to whoever opened it. With amusement in his eyes he looked at me. I averted my eyes. I've only seen him since I came back here to Manila. I don't know why I'm this happy just by looking at him. But it didn't take long for someone to follow behind him.

"Engineer, we're not done yet. Why did you go out?"

The woman behind him laughed. You have no emo-emotions I look at the woman. "Are you still there?"

I heard Cali ask the woman at the desk again. Her lips parted as she stared at me and seemed to read my mind.

"Let's call it a day, Molly."

"What? But we need to-" she refused.

"Bettina, can you please talk to Molly with her concerns. And set another appointment for her. Thank you."

The woman immediately followed him to the desk and he approached me. Molly still can't seem to believe that Levi just left her. "Oops. I'm out."

Cali whispered. I would have turned around to go with him, but Levi stopped me holding my wrist.

"Why are you here?" I side eyed Molly who's talking to Bettina. It makes me feel bad. I smiled lightly to Levi. "Am I not allowed to be here?" His lips parted obviously did not see that one coming.

"N-no. It's just I thought ..."

He didn't continue what he was saying.

"Come here." He guided me to his door, I didn't have time to appeal because my attention was on Molly who almost hurt me with her sharp eyes. So when I came in to his office, that's when I had time to manage my thought and feelings.

"I thought you were busy. And you didn't messaged me." I didn't answer right away because I could smell her scent. I just want to throw myself to him but my thoughts are so difficult to sort out.

"Seems like you were more busy than me."

I breathed.

"No ... No please don't think about it that way." Convincing me. I bit my lips to hide my smile. His eyes are looking on my hands, while his played with the ring on my finger. Until now it still doesn't sink in that I'm going to marry the man I used to only dream of.

"Molly and I just talked about some matter, mother send her here." He still can't look at me. He looked a bit uneasy and nervous. He's explaining even though I didn't asked for it. What did he think? That I'm still the former Ava? A long silence passed over us.

I just stared at the tip of his lip and the detail of his faces. If I had to have a child with him I hope you look like him. I can't help but to get shivers thinking about him being the father of our children.

"Please don't leave me. I tried so hard to not be clingy to you even though I want to be with you all day. I'm afraid that you would leave me even with just that."

I blinked hearing him. My heart beat just went wild. Is that his reason why? Just when I thought he'd changed and me being bother all this time was just because he thought I would leave him just ... just because he's being clingy?

"I don't want to risk it all. I'd do anything just to make you stay."

I couldn't say a word to what he said. I took a heavy breath and stroked his hair with my finger. I squatted down to reach her lip. I see he didn't expect that. I tilted my head after that feathery kiss.

"I love you."

Me, summing up my thoughts. I don't know how far my love for him is. It seems that every day he plants a new seed of love in me. His palm covers my back to support me. I saw him looked at my lips as he licked his. I just caressed his face. "Mom invited us for dinner tomorrow."

He would break the silence. I gasped a little and for sure my eyes are weary. I was ready for that but for some reason I was still nervous to see his family. I let go of him as he followed my every move as if estimating my reaction. I turned to his table. Levi Vidalio Chief Executive Officer I smiled at the thought and stroked his name there. He remained silent as he stared at me.

Her desk was clean but there were papers piled on it, most likely Molly's leftovers. I put my two hands on the table and even rolled my eyes there. I don't know why I'm suddenly thinking about something else. I'm not jealous but there's a strange feeling inside of me and I can't figure it out. I walked to his swivel chair and sat there.

I saw him standing while both of his hands are on his pocket. A ghost of smile is on his lips and amusement on his eyes. I made myself comfortable on his massive chair. I even put my two arms on the side and crossed my thighs as if I were the president. I play looked at him. I smiled sweetly.

"You think she will give us her blessing?" He walked the remaining space and stood in front of the table.

"She give it or not, I don't care. I'm not in the mood to listen to anyone's opinion." I smirked and placed my fingers on my lips. He cocked his head and raised his eyebrows. "Why? What mood are you into?" I almost whispered.

He chuckled. He looked up further and I could see the rising chin lump in his throat. When he looked down at me, I almost shuddered. He lost his tie and had a quick glance on the door and back to me again. He crouched and placed his hands on his table.

"Are you seducing me Architect Suarez?" I was a little embarrassed by his question but I didn't show it. I remained cocky and confident.

"Are you seduced then, Engineer Vidalio?"
