Yearn For You
Liliana Roslyn's POV.
"What were those equipments?" I ask Pallas. We're now at night, the sun's gone down just few minutes ago and now, we're lying on the foamy mat.
Pallas made sure to kill the fire with the lake's water when we're through with using it. She's very cautious in a way that she made sure not to leave any tracks.
During this periods, my mind's drift over to Lucas and Adrian. They would have been looking for me now, especially Adrian. He's been the one to always want to check on me...hmm. What about Lucas?
Okay...okay...got no time to be arguing with myself. I know that the both of them must have been looking for me. Even Rita. She'd be worried sick about me. We just met each other after all this periods and on the day we met again did Pallas take me.
I know there's this feeling deep in me that wants me to follow her and see the truth. I want to know about my mother, so I'll follow her to the destination of this journey. I want to learn. Don't ask me why or how I'm saying this. Even I, myself don't know.
Also in another part, deep down in me, I kind of feel bad. I left people worried...let's say...one person, which is Rita and the rest, which are the two bender kings.
"Those were my warrior identifications." Pallas replies.
I turn to my side to face her while she's facing heavenwards, I realize minutes ago that she seems to love watching the sky. And she also love nature. Did I forget to tell you that she can bend trees?
Earlier, when I tried to escape since the guilt of leaving some beings behind in a worried-state overwhelmed me, she then bend the trees to stop me from running away.
She's really powerful, no wonder she's able to take me with her. I don't even want to know her full capabilities, so I've stopped trying to run away or make her angry.
"Can you at least for goodness sake make me understand one thing? I'm following you to an unknown journey because of some unknown traits and still you wouldn't let me understand some things?" I huff. I also notice that I've never laughed or smile ever since I met her.
She smiles. There she goes, always seeing my anger as a laughing stock. "You're just like your mother."
"You've said that for a thousand and one times and yet you didn't tell me much about my mother." I say and she smiles again.
"Okay, I'll tell you about my powers." She says. Definitely she will. She's trying to shun me from taking up the subject that involves my mother.
Please someone tell me. Why am I still staying her with her? I can't seen to know why. I can't escape though but I never tried more.
Pallas continues. "Those shields, spear, helmets and the body armours are the clothings I use when in war or things that involves fightings. I was lucky to have worn them on that day."
That day? Now, she's emitting words again. "They helped me to be able to absorb my full powers, well, with your help too. I chased you that day because I wanted to tell you everything. But then, I realized that I shouldn't when I see king Adrian saved you. I knew at that moment that you're starting to show those traits."
"What traits?" I ask lowly almost whisperingly.
Pallas faces me, a new look on her angelic face. An undecipherable one. "The traits of a queen."
I got lost for words when she said those words. They replay at the back of my mind. The traits of a queen. A queen? I'm a slave not a queen, right?
"When king Adrian saved you, that was when I knew that I was able to manipulate fate and that you were your parents daughter." My tears are blurring my visions. Whenever she mentions my parents, I always feel this emotions that calls tears.
"And those snakes on my helmet were once Medusa's while the serpents and owls were parts of my powers." Pallas finishes and I nod at her before lying on my back and looking at the stars. Their brightness cosily calls me.
"Rest, Ana." Pallas says and I nod once again. Lastly staring at the sky before slumbering.
****
Darkness firstly embed me whole as I raise my body from the ground. Ground?
Then as my vision accommodate my surroundings, I see Pallas sitting opposite me. Her legs curled and crossed over one another before her while her body sits on air. She's floating mid-air. Her eyes are closed and now there's something different. Something's illuminating this dark place. Her armours, they are shining intensely and are helping us to send back the darkness that's trying to lurk in. The shadows made by the darkness are just near us but the barrier that Pallas' light made, tame them from reaching us.
How did we move from the woods to this God forsaken place?
I'm still looking around, checking out this scary sight before me when Pallas opens her eyes but she's still floating on air.
"For a normal impure person, they should have drained you dry of your impurities or perhaps, fill you with more darkness. That was why I told you that this place would let me know all I need to know about you." Pallas' body go down and she made a light flop sound when she sits on the ground.
Her legs uncurled and uncross before she now stand opposite me, looking me in the eye and her hands, holding me face. "Now, I know you're a half pure bender." That's it. I've been trying to remember where I last heard that word. Its from Lucas' post unbalance book.
"The book says there is none, isn't it?" Pallas says. "Actually there is. And that's who we're trying to build."
"Through me?" I ask.
"Through the real you." Almost all supernatural has been saying that to me. What do they mean by the real me? "Through the one that's lived the past life and is living the new life, all with a kind and loving heart. One who can only be named as Pure by being birth by a pure human."
I just nod ununderstandingly and Pallas says next. "Walk with me." I did and we get to where she was...meditating before, I think.
"Where is this?" I ask.
"The cave."
Wait...cave? Which cave?
"Which cave?" My worriedness is clearly out.
"From where it all started. The dark cave." Pallas' eyes lock with mine again and I feel myself calming. She says. "Give me both your hand."
I rest my hands on her spread palm hesitatingly and then she clasp them gently. Her eyes glow as she instruct.
"Look straight into my eyes. There you shall see the two states. Being a half-pure bender, you should be able to cross."
King Adrian's POV.
I'm sick. Very sick. I'm wounded too. My beating heart is drenched with depression. I'm on the verge of losing my mentality. I should have protected Ana more when I know that she's drank my blood more than twice now. She's became a part of me that can't be lost.
I'm over-depressed and in an utter mode of distress. My three-selves are on the outside. My eyes are glowing, my body's full of streams of energies. I'm getting weak and we all know it.
I haven't been seeing others ever since that day, after the movies. I'm still in the room, sobbing and regretting. Why did I let that hospes take Ana away?
She wanted to punish me through her, that is the reality. Lucas' been trying to connect with me both through mentally and physically but I never let him.
The room...I mean, Ana and I's room has been tattered. My angry three-selves has destroyed every furnitures and mirrors. The curtains has been torn. I tried my best to retain Ana's scent but even as I'm an air bender, her scent is still vanishing piece by piece and there's nothing I can do about it.
I haven't fed for weeks now since Ana has been gone. She's been gone for 2weeks, 1day, 7hours, 57minutes and 4seconds. I haven't fed for this periods which are excruciating. My bivatar doesn't want to feed from anyone else except from Ana even though we know it's an impossibility for now. She can't let us.
Nevertheless, we yearn and crave for her arrival. I knew those trackers were incompetent, so every night, I'd turn into gas and diffuse into the air to find Ana. Still she's nowhere to be found.
Using my powers every night to find her has made me weaker and I'm now struggling to even move. I'm currently on the bed with the remainder of Ana's hazy scent embedding my head.
They give me strength and energies that no blood can give me. They give me a reason to want to fight and look for her more.
Ana's friend, Rita has been working together with Oliver and the others to find Ana. She's truly a good friend of hers with the way she's working pretty hard to help find Ana.
She's got Oliver whipped because he's now a hardworking man who's ready to do good. She's changing him for the better and I wish Ana is here too, to do the same to me.
I want her to soften my heart in such a way that Avatar would be proud of me. I want her to heal me in a way that all benders will learn from me to be good. That good is good.
It's just that she's not here and it's devastating. It's destroying me. I'm gradually dying by not seeing her. She's the only hope I have to become that good.
She's my life saver. Only her can cure and save everyone. And that hospes, I'm going to kill her. I'll make sure that she suffer so much that she will never do this again. Scratch that! She'll never be alive to do this ever again in her miserable life. I don't care what might happen to me but I'll make sure I kill and drain every last drop of her energies.
A knock sound on the door, followed by Lucas saying. "Adrian, come out." I didn't reply, so he add. "You've got to hear this."
I groan as I turn to my back and force myself to stand. He yells again this time as he says. "We've tracked Ana's location."
In seconds, I'm at the door, holding its frame as I rest my chest on it. "Where is she?"
"Don't tell me you're turning to gas, so now you get your ass to the car. Ramon's losing the location. You've got to follow me now." Lucas says.
"Then let's go!" I yell at him but he doesn't take it to heart. He understands the burning rage in me.
*****
I'm in the middle of some woods with a lake just beside me. Ramon and his trackers are here too along with Lucas, and Felix. Ramon said that this was where Ana and hospes were last.
Lorenzo stayed back with Chris to ensure the safety of Oliver which is the reason why we came here in the first place. Oliver surely can't come because of his beloved who's Ana's mate.
So, here we are, in a forest that is emptied of Ana. She's nowhere to be found and I'm losing my rage gradually. Ramon and his men are angering me because of this stupid information that seem unreal.
Lucas is now by my side, trying to force himself into my head to know what I'm planning. A bender that's angry because of his/her mate can never do good things. They can even kill people around them.
Every time, Lucas tried to enter, I would slam the mental barrier door against him but he's trying again and again. Now, he's stopped when blood is already dripping down his nostrils. He's wounded but I can't seem to care at this moment.
I'm getting lost.
Suddenly, Ramon says with hope in his eyes. None of them wants me to be lost in the dark, because I'm the only bender who's most capable to fight the Harlow's.
"I'll tracked them again, the location seems blurry but I'll try."
"Don't try. I want result." I say and enter the car. Luckily for us, this forest has its trees spread out so we can drive cars here.
***
The car engine stops after Ramon pauses on his tracks. He's bending earth ahead, in front of our cars as he's leading us to the location he sensed.
I'm shocked when I see that we're in front of the dark cave. This is where Ramon sensed that Ana is. Shit! No wonder Ana's been away for weeks, time is tricky in there. She might have been using just minutes in there but here, in the outside world, it's weeks. Also its responsible to why Ramon couldn't find her easily.
He must have used all his strength to be able to locate here. This place has spells that prevents trackers from locating it. I'm thankful.
Fuck! It just dawn on me. What if hospes's sent Ana to Frederick or something?
My body must have trembled on the outside because Lucas suddenly take my shoulder and shake it. His expression tells me to calm down.
"This is it!" Ramon yells from afront us.
When I didn't see any guard, surrounding and protecting to stop the Harlow's from coming into this world, I tell Lucas. "The hospes must have killed the men you sent here."
Lucas looks at me with amazement, rather he's surprised by my words but I didn't listen to what he ask. "The men I sent?" Before I rush out inhumanly after I say.
"I'm going after that bitch with every last strength I have."
"Fuck this." I hear Lucas says from behind me before another sound of the earth breaking, streaming forth a large body of water follow behind him. Then, the others go into action too. The elements are on horizon.
