Thea's Point of View

When I heard the name I was trying to avoid, it hit me like a bucket of cold water. I already know who the woman is, but I try to convince myself that it isn't her or that it isn't her, who Craig was with earlier.

How would I fight for the woman he fell in love with the first time he met her?

"Ah."

It felt like something was stuck in my throat and had hardened because that is only I could utter.

When the woman looked at me, her eyes were clear. She gave me a smile like nothing was wrong. Because of how she looked at me, I wanted to look at myself in the mirror. Even though I'm beautiful, I can't help but think about how different her black eyes are from mine.

Her right chest size fit on my kind of round chest. Even though Craig always tells me I'm beautiful, I'm curious about what he's saying to the Barbie doll in front of me right now.

Mommy went on, "And Felicity, this is Thea."

The woman stuck out her hand to be shaken. I just stood there and looked at it until she took mine and gave it a shake. I didn't know what to say because I can't smile at my husband's "mistress."

*ring* ring* ring*

When my phone rang loudly, we all stopped talking. As I saw Megan's name, I let out a sigh of relief when she got me out of this mess.

"Excuse me, please. I'm glad to meet you, but I need to go somewhere." I said as I bowed and turned to leave, "I have to go now."

My phone kept going off, so I picked it up.

"What are you doing now? Where are you now?!"

She yelled and obviously, mad.

"I'll be there in a minute! There's something wrong here!" We both yelled to each other like we did it all the time.

When we realized what was happening, we both started laughing out loud on both lines.

"Hurry up, you fool! If you don't hurry, I'll knock you down when we meet and break your leg!" She was upset, but it was clear that it was a joke.

I smiled as I walked because it felt good to laugh without worrying about anyone or anything.

As soon as I walked out of the building, I was hit by the sun's hot rays. The event was supposed to start at noon, but I hadn't been inside for very long, so it seemed like time had stopped.

I was going to call the driver to take me to where Megan and I were going to meet, but then I thought that Craig might know where I am.

I was about to walk to call a cab when a red 2018 Jeep Renegade stopped in front of me. I thought he didn't stop there on purpose, but after a minute, it still wasn't moving in front of me.

When the car window went down, I took a step back to keep going. I saw Rayleigh smile in a sneaky way.

“I couldn't help but wonder who had stopped in front of me in a 2018 Jeep Renegade just to show off.” I joked with him, "Since the window is tinted, I can't tell if the driver is worth it."

He replied to my joke, "I saw something beautiful, so I couldn't help but stop."

I laughed to what he said.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

I didn't respond to his question. I instead asked him, "What about you? Shouldn't you be inside with your cousin and family celebrating?"

"I don't want to go. My dad just made me."

I raised an eyebrow to show that I didn't believe, but then I started laughing out loud.

"That's the truth!" he said over and over. "I have given you an answer. Also, please answer my question."

"I'm going to hang out with my friend."

I didn't speak because I didn't want to tell him anything else because he might tell it to his aunt Lily.

“Why? Aren't you the wife of the most important person at the party?"

"Don't ask a lot of questions! The best thing you can do is just take me where I need to go!"

"If your husband sees me with you, he might beat me!"

"Don't worry about it! Don't worry about it, I'll handle it!" He had already opened the door, so I quickly rode in.

I looked back at the messages and double-checked the address that Megan had given me.

When I told Rayleigh about it, he quickly tuner left the car.

When we got out of the car, we saw a lot of 16–18-year-olds smoking. Rayleigh was coughing and talking quietly to me.

"Are you sure it's really here?"

I was also annoyed when a tall man on a skateboard blew smoke in my face as he went by.

*Bang*

When someone hit the man who blew smoke at me on the head, Rayleigh quickly grabbed his clothes and tried to punch him.

"What did I say to you, huh? Didn't I warn you? I told them to keep an eye on the person I was waiting for because I was still doing something." The woman roared.

It's Megan!

Gosh! Why her look like that!

I mean... uhm... How do I explain it...

She appears to be different! I’m referring to the hair. Her hair was black and straight when we met at the event, and it was also long. It is now scarlet with a curly lob.

If she was beautiful with her long black hair with blue eyes, now she looks like a mermaid who acts like a human because of her new hairstyle and a pair of navy eyes.

She looks so cool!
