"You don't have to bother, someone will pick us up." Nicole continued to coldly deal with the young man.

She had grudges against him and blamed him why her children were apart from her. She was also annoyed because she was not able to push him on Danica and get him to marry her so she will see Natasha. There’s a part of her heart that protested that she didn't like. She and Sean wanted to get home early because Gaven had arrived. She also needed Kanor's advice about the condition Danica had provided.

"I'll call Kanor so he doesn't have to be troubled with picking you up."

"He's not the one who will pick us up." Nicole was still stubborn to the young man. She can let him send them back if she wanted, but she didn't want to.

Steven still wanted to insist, but the maid entered the living room, followed by a man.

Steven's eyes narrowed and jealousy enveloped his whole being because of his son's apparent love for the man.

The aura of Steven's face remained dark as he recalled in his mind where he first met him. He soon remembered an event. He could not forget that because the woman with him had openly shown affection for him before.

"Thank you for welcoming them here and for caring."

Gaven was serious and from what Steven saw, he had nothing to be jealous of. "I'm the one who should thank you because you filled the obligation when I wasn't in their lives."

"Nicole and Sean are like a family to me. So I hope there is an improvement in your relationship." Gaven said meaningfully as he looked around. He felt that someone was watching him secretly for a while now.

Danica quickly left her hiding place and approached the two young men. She was pleased with the man's sudden appearance. He obviously had a special feeling for Nicole.

Gaven stared at the face of the woman that was probably Danica. She was beautiful and she gave off a kind aura. If he did not know her true colors, he would surely be impressed by her outward appearance.

Danica quickly grabbed Steven's arm and smiled at their guest. "Nice to meet you, I'm grateful to you for helping my friend."

He smiled back at the woman and shook hands with her before putting his arm around Nicole. "Well, I've always been doing everything to help her. And I'm glad because she's already met again the people who have been a part of her past. I hope to catch the person behind all her suffering as well."

"That's also what we want to happen, so I'm helping Nicole regain her memories." Danica shifted her gaze to her and smiled at her meaningfully.

Kanor agreed with his son's advice to Nicole. She had to make a deal with Danica so they can find her third child.

Nicole was surprised by what Steven said. She did not know where he got such an idea. She suddenly felt nervous when his gaze deepened on her as if she had committed a great crime. She took a step back when he approached her.

"Th-That's not what I meant. I just don't want to be a hindrance to other people's happiness. If what you're concerned about is your right to Sean, I'm not going to take that away from you."

"And you think Sean is the only reason I'm cutting off any relationship between Danica and me?" He was smirking and his gaze seemed dangerous.

Nicole quickly walked to the other side of the table, so she wouldn't be cornered by him. He was like an angry tiger that wanted to pounce on her. It seemed that Rita was telling the truth that Steven would not just let her go because of her body.
