EPILOGUE
Meanwhile, the sun was already setting outside while Jayden, Ethan and I sat on the couch and comfortably shoveled in pizza.
"What do you want to wear anyway?" Ethan asked me and I looked at him confused before realizing that I didn't have any clothes here at all. "She can wear my clothes, at least then the vultures stay away," Jayden replied, laughing. "As if they're even coming, the way she stinks of you." "Hey," I warned them both, putting my empty pizza box on the table. "You know I'm present?"
"It's okay, I'll call Lou and have her bring something by herself," Jayden said and left the living room. Ethan was still chewing on his last slice of pizza and I decided to take a quick shower.
When I got to the bathroom, I dropped my clothes and stood in the small shower cubicle to let the warm water patter on my body. It felt so relaxing that I let all the weight off my shoulders for a moment and my mind wandered, not even noticing Jayden entering the bathroom.
It wasn't until he stepped naked into the cabin that I held my breath and looked at him in shock. "Are you alright?" he asked me and started lathering his wet black hair while eyeing me lovingly.
"Yes," I replied shyly, wincing a little when he grabbed my shoulder and turned me away from him. I was already preparing for him to attack me, but then I felt his hands on my shoulders, massaging me so gently that my body completely relaxed. We stood like that for a while and I savored the feeling of him taking care of me until he turned around again and hugged me tightly.
Water ran down my hair as I listened to the melody of his heart with my eyes closed. "My little one," he breathed, giving me one last kiss on the cheek before leaving me alone again, tucking a towel around his waist.
"As soon as Lou gets there, I'll bring you the clothes. Take your time." He smiled and closed the cabin door, whereupon I next heard the bathroom door.
I stayed in the shower for a short while, but then I got out and wrapped myself in a large towel so I could look at myself in the mirror. The circles around my eyes looked dark, which was no wonder after the past few days. My eyes traveled down my body and stayed on his mark.
I was so thankful for her because without his smell on my body, Darius probably wouldn't have stopped abusing me. A few single tears ran warm down my cheeks and I promised myself that they would be the last ones I would lose because of this terrible human being.
A knock on the door made me look away from the mirror and look at her, but Jayden didn't come in. I ran to her and opened it, but instead of him, Lou was beaming in front of me. "I've been so worried and I'm only informed about everything so late?" she smiled angrily and gave me a friendly hug. The fact that she then stroked my back soothingly made me realize that she must have seen my tears.
"If you ever need a woman to talk, you know where to find me," she breathed and then carefully let go of me. "I know, thanks," I replied, wiping the tears from my face.
"Well, I have a red dress and a black dress." She pointed to a bag in her hand and a memory popped into my head. "But please not the short one, right?" "No," she laughed. "Jayden tore the beautiful piece to pieces." I joined in her wonderful laugh and curiously took the bag.
"See you soon," Lou said and as soon as she closed the door behind her, I hurried and slipped into the black dress. "Oh god," I breathed, only then realizing that Lou was quite a bit shorter than me.
The cleavage wasn't dramatic at all, but you could see the shadow of my buttocks. "Jayden is going to freak out," I said to myself, then decided to put it on anyway, because I didn't care if he'd get upset about it in Wialtrama, just how he'd take it off me once we got home would be.
I boldly exited the bathroom and walked confidently into the living room where Jayden and Ethan were sitting on the couch and Lou was standing at the door. My companion looked over at me with a smile, but he stopped laughing and looked at me in bewilderment. "No," he said in a firm tone, but I provoked him even more and spun around in a circle, whereupon he shook his head and pulled me into the bedroom.
"Are you crazy?" he asked me, rummaging in his closet for matching pants. "Don't you think it's nice?" I snuggled provocatively against his back and stroked his neck. "Too beautiful," he murmured, then turned to sit me on the bed.
I smiled at him and he started pulling me into a pair of black jeans that I could have fit in twice. "It's better that way." He helped me to my feet and put on a belt, a heavy red hoodie and a knitted hat that seemed to be more for toddlers. "You can't be serious!" I asked him, looking down at myself. I could have easily starred in a hip hop video and outperformed everyone. "Do you need another gold chain?" he asked me seriously and when I glared at him he started laughing so hard he fell backwards onto the bed.
"Yeah, haha, very funny." I put my arms on my hips, snarling, but he didn't care. "Let's go Lil Chiara." As he said it and looked, I had to smile too, rolling my eyes and gave him my hand so as not to keep the others waiting any longer.
The night at Wialtrama was just a memory for life. While Jayden, Ethan, Ludwig and I sat around a table all night chatting about dreams and goals, Chace and Lou hit the dance floor together.
Again and again it happened that revealing women ran by and gave my mate seductive looks, but he only had eyes for me, which made my heart flutter, especially since I was dressed like the biggest idiot.
That night was two weeks ago and now I was sitting on the couch with my grandma, who was just happy that everything had turned out well and that I had finally found my happiness. "Have you packed your things yet?" she asked me, standing in front of me with a smile. "Yes, everything is on the front door."
I would miss her even if I lived only a few minutes away. "Come here," she suddenly said with tears in her eyes and I got up to let her pull me into her arms. "Grandma, I'll come and visit you every day," I reassured her, but she didn't stop crying. Only when the doorbell rang did she break away from me and wipe the tears from her face.
"I'll miss you my darling," she let me know and ran with me to the front door, which I opened and stood there in amazement.
I was amazed that all my friends were actually there to watch me move a few houses, but then my eyes widened in disbelief when I saw a beautiful black trailer behind Jayden.
"What's that about?" I asked him confused while he just smiled and walked towards me. "You told me in Wialtrama that your biggest dream was to travel the world and we will do that." I had to hold on to his arm in bewilderment and still stared in disbelief at the big car.
"And what about the pack?" I asked him, but it was Chace standing by my side, holding hands with Lou and shrugging his chest proudly. "Here is the new Alpha", he said beaming and looked Lou deep in the eyes. "And this is my beautiful Luna."
"Don't overdo it," Jayden growled playfully, running to the trailer to give me time to say goodbye to everyone. I took the two lovers tightly in my arms and really had to hold back my tears because I still couldn't understand it all.
"You send us postcards from everywhere!" the little one warned me and I nodded at her with a smile. "Promised."
Rudi was also there, who politely shook my hand and before whom I was still a little ashamed, but I was still glad that someone was here who would take care of my grandma.
Last but not least, my pretty angel stood a little apart and looked at me with a smile. I slowly walked towards him and let myself fall into his arms, sobbing. "Please don't cry," he admonished me and I pulled away from him to look deep into his eyes. "What are you doing now without us and our drama?" I grinned at him and wiped my tears away. "I'm sure I can think of a few things."
He stroked my cheek one last time and let me go. It wasn't goodbye forever, I couldn't take that and Jayden had to promise me that we would come back at least every 3 months.
I waved to everyone again and got my suitcase to drag into the RV after me. "Ready?" Jayden asked me, sitting at the wheel with such grace that he looked irresistible.
"Yeah, go ahead," Ethan's voice suddenly sounded behind me, who was sitting at a small table and glared at me angrily. "So you didn't want to say goodbye to me?" "I promise you I wouldn't have left without seeing you again." "Then it's good that I'm going with you," he grinned and made himself visibly comfortable.
I sat in the passenger seat and would have loved to be alone with Jayden, but I was also glad that Ethan was with us, who wouldn't have been happy here alone without Jayden.
We drove off and Jayden honked loudly a few more times until we turned the corner and drove over the mysterious bridge, which I didn't see at the time. "Will you miss the Wialtrama?" I asked Jayden, but he just shook his head. "No, with you by my side, I will never miss anything again."
I was beaming from ear to ear and looked ahead out of the window to finally see the end of the forest after hours. I couldn't put my happiness into words. I really got everything I ever wanted and I enjoyed it to the fullest.
"It's going to be a whole new world for me. You have to take care of me," he joked, and I giggled to myself. "Naturally."
As it slowly got darker outside and we were looking for a place to stop and sleep, we suddenly saw a car on the side of the road that seemed to have broken down. "Hold on a second," I asked my mate and scurried back to jump out the door.
A girl my age stood in the dark and seemed quite cold. She had brown hair and a petite build, and held a cigarette in her trembling hand. "Hey?!" I shouted at her and waved her over to me. "Hi," she said. "My tire blew out and I don't know how to change it."
I took a quick look at her car and then turned to the RV. "Ethan!" I called him out and I heard his annoyed bleating even before he kicked out the door. "What-" He trailed off and looked at the girl while she eyed him just as intently. "Mate," Ethan breathed unexpectedly and I just rolled my eyes in annoyance.
This may indeed be something ...
