Chapter Forty Three

"I have been waiting for you" Queen Jezebel said and he drop what she is doing

Without turning back she wave her hand and immediately wind hit Logan on the rock, Logan tried to stand upright, but something pin him down, it was like a heavy load was on his head, the next seconds Logan was floating on the air, he was now as light as a feather in the air, the same time the wind was hitting him at the rocks around

Logan tried and remove his bow, he set an Arrow and shot it with all his might, the Arrow hit Queen Jezebel in the hand, Queen Jezebel also scream in pain, she loose the focus of her magic and Logan also fell back to earth, quickly Logan pick up his Sword and stand, Queen Jezebel conjure fire and throw it at Logan.

Quickly Logan duck, the fire go past his head, the fire hit the cave, the rock tear down and fall on Logan spot, Logan roll off the spot, the same time he set his bow an arrow, he shot the arrow from the bow, he make a stand and shot another arrow again at Queen Jezebel, but Queen Jezebel conjure a shied using Magic, the Arrow hit her shield and they fall

Queen Jezebel was amuse, he expect much from the so call Heavenly Prince, funny enough Logan as well don’t understand how he become so fast and quick in combat, he felt his body lighter and all his senses are heighten. Queen conjure another fire and throw it at Logan again, Logan dodge again, before he stabilize himself, he was able to stabilize himself, he found himself floating in the air again

Logan understand that he can’t fight Queen Jezebel one on one, moreover he was not to fight Queen Jezebel to death, he only want to draw her away, Logan make up his mind, he find a knife and throw it against Queen Jezebel, but the knife stop mid air

“You are a fool to think you can defeat me just like that” Queen Jezebel said laughing

One of her hand was conjuring wind against Logan, his other hand he use to stop the knife midair, Logan laugh

“Yes, but watch out” Logan said still laughing

He fire an arrow again, Queen Jezebel conjure a shield, just when she was jubilant, Logan fire another towards her other hand, Queen Jezebel was hit and Logan fall back, without waiting, he run away to a direction out of the cave, Queen Jezebel also go after him

Seeing that the coast is clear, Jazz also come in and cut down all the shackles uses to tie Mira, without even caring about the knife, he take her away on his back, when he is out of the cave he whistle

Mac hear the whistle, he stop fighting the bandit and run away towards the Kings Cave, he met Jazz waiting in the cave,

"Remove the knives and take her to an healer" Jazz said

Mac nod his head and aim to remove the knife, he was surprise to be removing a live snake, Mira as well was screaming in pain, Mac leave the knife and the snake go back in

"This is Dark Magic" Mac said

"And it's beyond us" Jazz said

“Yea, let’s wait His Highness to join us” Mac said and Jazz nod his head

Meanwhile Logan and Queen Jezebel are still in serious combat, Logan no longer fight Queen Jezebel any longer, he only want to escape, he keep hiding and attacking from shadow, he heard Jazz whistle about a minute ago, but he have to shake off the Queen first.

Logan see another among the rock, he creep down and begin to crawl out of Queen Jezebel sight, he enter the opening and find himself in a dead end,, Logan turn to go back, but then he see Queen Jezebel standing behind them, she was conjuring Magic

"You should have stay hidden" she said in an anger voice

She throw the wind at Logan, but to his surprise Queen Jezebel was hit on the rock, wind carry Queen Jezebel again and she hit the rock again, within minute Queen Jezebel begun to vomit blood

Logan was shock at the turn of event, he expect death immediately he see the wind coming towards him, but then it was Queen Jezebel who was down, Logan look out and see the White Old Man standing

"You can go Your Highness" the White Old Man said

Logan nod his head, he run out to met the rest, he met them also waiting for him anxiously, laying down is half dead Mira

“Remove the knife” Logan said

“Your Highness we did, but it is a dark magic knife “ Jazz said

Logan frown “show me” Logan said

Jazz nod and want to pull out the knife, but Mac hold Jazz hand to stop him from pilling out the knife

“Your Highness, the Lady is in pain, the knife turn to snake and they are implanted deep into her body, so the snakes might bite her to death if we force it” Mac said

“Then we ride to Ernie Kingdom" Logan said

Jazz and Mac also agree with Logan, quickly they put Mira on a horse, they all mount their horse and ride towards Ernie Kingdom as quick as possible

Logan, Mac and Jazz rides very fast towards Ernie as fast as possible, they don’t even stop to rest, the journey take them just half a day, they make it to the Kingdom just in the evening, Logan don't even stop the horse, he ride directly to the High Priestess Palace, Jazz and Mac as well are running after him

He finally stop at the spot to the High Priestess palace, quickly he carry Mira and run into the Palace, he put her down and rush into the Palace, once he see the High Priestess, Logan beg to save Mira, the High Priestess as well see what's going on, even before they remove the knife he knows what it is

"This is dark Magic" she said

"She had just a day to live" Logan said

"The snake need to be killed first" the High Priestess said

“How did you know there are snake?” Jazz ask

“I practise Magic, I know one when I see one “ The High Priestess said

"How do we kill the snake?" Logan said

The High Priestess move closer, she also did something and he demarcate Mira hips and arms, immediately there is bulge in Mira hands and hips, the bulge begin to get bigger and bigger

"Get ready Your Highness, the snake are coming out" the High Priestess said
