Chapter 50: I Miss Her So Much

“Have you had enough?” I ask Omega Kelly when she looks up at me with my juices all over her face.

She nods and then starts to say something before I cut her off quickly, “You don’t get to say anything, unless I ask you a question. As far as I am concerned, you are done here and you are my play toy to be used as such, till I decide that you are no longer usable. Do you understand? I know what you have done, I just want to know one thing and one thing only. Who is in on it with you?”

I patiently wait till she clears her voice and then says something quietly, “Alpha Shawn.” She doesn’t say another thing, so I punish her some more. Knowing that this is the only way I may ever get Arabella back, I move away from her bottom and say softly in a whisper right next to her right ear. “I need you to go upstairs right now and tell Arabella that it was all a plot to tear us apart and that you lead me to do what I did. Nothing else, nothing more. Got it?” My voice fades off as I breath softly by her ear.

I smell sex on her when she gets dressed, so before going to talk with Arabella and confess what she did, I make her go to her room and wash off quickly. When she returns, I walk her up the stairs to my bedroom where Arabella is sleeping with one hand always on her arm to make sure she follows through with her promise.

When I look inside carefully, I see my beloved lying there as she looks like in angel. Her hair is spread across the pillow and her face is so peaceful that I almost don’t want to wake her, but I do. Omega Kelly shakes her awake, after I shut the door behind me as I cover my tracks.

I certainly don’t want Arabella knowing that I am the one who is making Kelly tell her the truth. Because if she did, she wouldn’t believe a word that she said. Not to mention, she wouldn’t ever talk to me again.

Now comes the hard part, I must wait for Arabella to come to me this time. In realizing this, I pick up a book in the study and start reading. Hopefully, sooner or later she will come to me and then I can ask for her forgiveness.

While I sit there, I hear a loud noise from the second floor. Jumping to my feet, I hurry to the door and open it. Only to see others running to the stairwell in front of me.

Worry begins to fill me as I remember that Kelly was talking with Arabella and I left them all alone. What if someone had other plans and they included killing off just Arabella before she has the pups? Rushing up the stairs while shoving everyone out of my way, I stop at the top where I see our room and what looks like damage from an explosion.

Panicking, I launch myself headfirst into the room and find no one there. I scan the room for Arabella at first, and then Kelly just in case. However, no one is to be seen.

I cry out with my hands in the air, “Where is she?”

Hearing a noise behind me, I turn around quickly to find Arabella standing there frightened and shaking. She runs into my open arms and then I embrace her tightly before picking her up and kissing her. I can’t believe that I almost lost her and now I have more than enough questions for the both of us.

Taking her down the stairs, I bring her to the study and then I lie her on the couch. The same couch that Kelly and I had been having sex on 30 minutes earlier. Feeling the guilt creep in, I start to scan the room for anything that would give me away. The last thing I need right now is for her to get mad at me again, I simply couldn’t handle it.

A few minutes later, after she seems to have stopped shaking, I ask her gently while still in my arms, “Baby, what happened?”

She looks up at me cautiously before answering, “I don’t know. One minute Kelly was confessing to me that she set you up and the next, the door blew clear off its hinges. I saw a burst of fire and then I fell to the floor behind the bed so the babies would be safe.”

Hesitant, I ask right after swallowing hard, “Where is Kelly?”

“She ran out right after the explosion and then I haven’t seen her since.” She says it, while her eyes are so wide, they look like saucers.

Worried now that there will be repercussions, I release her for a moment while I go to bolt the door.
