"Oh great so your sister is going to kill me. That's great." I stood up walking away and looking out the window.

"Why did you wait so long to tell me this?" I turned and ask my mom.

I then noticed that my dad was leaning on the door frame that led to the dining room. How long has he been there?

"Look, I know you are upset but we didn't want to worry you okay? And no one is killing you." My mom tried walking toward me but I stepped away.

"Rhen, I'm going to need you to grow up here and not get sensitive. This has been hard on you but especially on your mom. Now I know this a lot to take in but you need to calm down." My dad said as he walked over to my mom holding her.

"Grow up?! Calm down?!" I screamed and ran my hands down my face. And took a deep breath.

I had to fight back the tears. I took a moment to look at my moms face and there was so much anguish in them. They were hurting just as much as I was.

Even though I am upset, my dad was right. It must be torture for them knowing this about me.

"Okay. I'm sorry." I took a deep breath and started to rub my forehead. My head was hurting like crazy and I have no idea why.

"I need to sit down I am having a really bad headache." I went and sat on the couch next to Jedidiah. I leaned back and closed my eyes.

"Rhen honey are you okay?" My mom asked me worriedly.

"Yeah, my head hurts really bad." The pain got stronger and I wanted to cry.

It felt like my brain was being torn apart. I heard people calling my name but after while it started to fade out and I didn't hear anything.

Hello Rhen. It's me Leaves. Nice to finally meet you.

What are you doing to me?

Oh, don't worry sweet girl. I will take care of us. Let me let you in on a little secret. Did you know we are the most powerful Lycan in the world? My sister who you all call the moon goddess kept my locked away saying that I was evil. Well, the joke is on her. She had left me in a place of darkness. I couldn't get control back, she was too powerful. She was pushing me further into the back of her mind. This is it. This is all that is left. This is the end of me.

Leaves POV

Free at last. Being in the back of a mind for 19 years really makes you appreciate the beauty of life. Ha. Just kidding.

I hate everything that my sister created.

Except for this body, Rhen was hot.

I opened my eyes and blinked. There were many faces staring at me out of concern. Oh, these poor people have no idea what is coming to them. I couldn't help but laugh at them.

They all looked so pitiful.

"Why is everyone so sad? Cheer up buttercup." I said standing.

There was a big man next to me and he growled. Ahh, Jedidiah. His wolf is Alaric, him and I go way back.

"Oh, you must be Jedidiah. Nice to meet you. I'm Leaves, tell Alaric I said hello." He only growled at me again causing me to chuckle.

"What did you do with Rhen?" I looked at where the voice was coming from and it was Damon.

"Oh, Damon? I have heard so much about you. What you did to your brother is despicable. Don't worry your precious daughter is safe. For now." I said walking around the living room.

"This place is nice. Big, spacious, lots of natural light. Too bad I can't stay." I sighed and turned to look at every one.

"You're not going anywhere," Damon growled and lunged at me. I grabbed him by the throat and threw him into the wall breaking it.

I saw a couple of the other Lycans wind up to attack me but I put my hand up before they could.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you. I could kill you. All of you in a blink of an eye. Just let me go and none of you will die."

They all stood still.

"Good." I started walking toward the front door. "But seriously if you ever want to sell this place let me know and I will put in an offer."

With that, I walked out and closed the door. I saw a red 2020 jeep gladiator and the key was in the car. I huffed and got in.

"Idiots. Who leaves their key in the car."

Oh, Rhen, you are finally going to see the world. Just like you wanted.

Jedidiah

Leaves just left and the Luna went to help Alpha Damon up.

She was strong. Stronger than any of us thought.

"We need to call a meeting of the council immediately. And Jedidiah, find your sister." Alpha Damon spoked and walked out of the room. I pulled my phone and dialed my sisters' number. After the fourth ring, she answered.

"Kailani. It happened. You need to get here now." I said to her.

"I understand." She hung up the phone and I put it away in my pocket.

I have known for a while who Kailani's Lycan was. Though we were brother and sister I was born a werewolf. Her hair was a dead give away. And my parents knew that.

They abused her and almost killed her. I was 17 when she 14 and they had her locked up in the basement. They were whipping her and her back was all blood and you couldn't see her true skin color.

One night I came home from school and my mother was out getting drunk with friends and I heard Kailani screaming. I ran to the basement and saw my father forcing himself on her. At that moment I saw red and my wolf took over and killed him. That's when I found out how strong I was.

When my mother came back and found his body she blamed Kailani. She grabbed a knife and was about to stab her when my wolf Alaric killed her too. Alaric and I killed our parents.

Do I regret it? No, they were monsters. But if anyone knew I would become the monster. I heard the front door open and I looked up and it was Kailani. She was 5'5 and had fair skin. She had icy blue eyes and blonde eyelashes.

Her most distinguishing feature was, of course, her hair. It was long and reached her waist and it was silver. We made eye contact and she started following me through the castle to where the council was called.

We made it to the large ballroom and it was filled. There were warriors, elders, advisers, betas, and deltas. Kailani and I walked toward the front and there were two seats for us already.

"Leaves has taken over. Our worst nightmare has come true. According to the elders we have only 6 months to find her. And it won't be easy. Because we kept Rhen away from the world no one knows what she looks like. We have clothing of hers and we are going to need my best trackers to track her scent immediately. I have contacted the neighboring pack Alphas already and have them keep a lookout. I think I have a hunch where she is going. Argentina is the only country that is not in my jurisdiction. It is overrun by rogues and the Rogue King is there. Push comes to shove we will go to war." Alpha Damon spoke.

It has been years since the last time we had to go to war on anyone.

"This means intense training. Jedidiah will be over the training and it will take place every day for 5 hours. This is a priority."

I looked around and I saw many scared faces mainly from werewolves. "Alpha," Kailani said standing up.

"I think I can help. My Lycan is Athena, Leaves sister." Kailani looked around and I heard a couple of growls toward her.

"You are the one that is supposed to kill her?" Alpha Damon asked.

"Yes, Athena would like to speak if that is okay?" She asked bowing her head slightly.

"Yes, she may." Kailani walked on stage and stood at the microphone and closed her eyes.

The next time she opened them they were all black with purple specks showing it was Athena.

"Hello everyone. I am Athena. The sister to the Moon Goddess and Leaves. I was sent here to kill Leaves and bring her back to the Moon Goddess. She escaped the prison and plans on destroying the world as we know it. There is a potion and all I need is to make it. Unfortunately, it takes two weeks for it to be made perfectly and do its job. I know for a fact that Leaves is headed to Argentina, her lover Alexander escaped with her and he is the Rogue King. Anyways, I am the only one strong enough to kill Leaves and send her back. In order to make this happen, I need full cooperation. Do you all understand?"

Everyone said yes at the same time.

"Thank you." Kailani closed her eyes and her eyes went back to their icy blue ones. She walked off the stage and sat back down by me.

"Alright, now we have our assignments. The training starts tomorrow at 6 am. I need all the trackers out immediately and find my daughter."

Alpha Damon dismissed us and everyone walked out. The trackers met in the middle and were discussing tactics. I walked up over to Alpha Damon and Luna Charlotte as they talked to each other.

"Jedidiah I know I kind of brought it up but you are okay with training? I will have Robert work with you too." Alpha Damon said to me.

"Of course. I am okay with that. Anything to get Rhen back home." I said and nodded my head at them. I walked away toward Kailani and sat back down by her.

"What is going on? Why do you care about you so much?" She asked me.

"She is my mate," I said she made an oh with her mouth.

"Well, since we are on the subject of mates. I just met mine. I was walking around the castle grounds and I saw this really attractive guy and it was amazing. But I ran away and I don't know if I will ever see him again." She shrugged and looked away.

"You'll find him, or he'll find you." I stood up and started walking out of the ballroom with her following me.

"Don't worry J, we will find her." I sighed.

"Yeah."
