CHAPTER 84
ONE WEEK LATER
Casabella's POV
I have been persuading Rosy for the past one week into telling Mark what his ex-girlfriend had said about taking revenge on her but she just won’t give in and on the other hand Mark has been busy with work unlike before.
He doesn’t seem to really hang out with me like he used to do but nevertheless, I got the company of Mary and Rosy who hang out with me pretty fine.
“Why don’t you want to go shopping with us?” Mary asked Rosy who was scooping some ice cream on her bed.
“I’m tired and sleepy that’s all.”
“You have got to be kidding me!” I sighed.
“Nope, I am not. Once I am done with my ice cream, I’m really sleeping.”
“It's alright if you don’t want to go. Bella and I will go alone but we will get something for you.” Mary smiled.
“Yeah sure, thanks.” She mumbled.
I forgot to mention her hormones aren’t the way they used to be. Her pregnancy has really changed her a lot than I have.
“You’re really impossible Rosy. Let go Mary. We have a lot of shopping to do.” I stepped out of the room.
“Are I the only one who noticed how Rosy has been acting lately?”
“Not at all. It’s her pregnancy hormones at work, remember?”
“I knew it. But yours is really something else.”
“I know, right?”
“I guess I’m left behind then.” She chuckled as we walked out of the mansion.
We got into the car as the chauffeur started the engines before taking off to the mall along with some bodyguards as escorts.
In less than an hour we arrived at the city mall and stepped out of the car.
“Ma’am, sir asked us to keep an eye on you closely.”
“I don’t need escorts inside. I will be fine.” I uttered and urged Mary as we approached the entrance.
“Good morning madams” The two guards standing by the door greeted us.
“Good morning.” Mary replied with a smile while I just nodded in response as they opened the door for us.
Betty’s POV
“Is this the finest dress you guys have in this mall?” I snapped at one of the staff who was trembling in fear.
“I… will go check again ma’am.” She stammered and rushed away.
I have been searching for a pretty dress to wear for the dinner party I will be attending tonight and too bad this particular mall doesn’t seem to suit my taste.
They have kept me waiting here for the past one hour yet all they could bring to my front is some kind of ugly dress.
“Babe, how do you see this dress?” I heard a lady’s voice a few inches away from where I was seated.
“It’s sure going to look beautiful on you.” Another lady replied, who I think is her friend.
I turned around to see the lady holding a long red lace dress with fine lines at the knees which is perfectly the dress I have been looking for.
Exactly the dress the staff should have brought to me and had to let some kind of woman lay her hands on it. I need the dress by all means and I know how to get it from the woman.
I got on my feet and slowly walked towards them.
“The dress won’t look any good on you. It only looks good on models like me.”
“I beg your pardon? Who the hell are you?”
“I’m someone who got that dress before you.” I responded.
“Is this lady even serious or what? Look here, woman, I got this dress first and I’m taking it whether you like it or not.”
“What a bitch! I’m done talking nicely. The dress is mine and you must give it to me.”
“Can you believe this Mary? How dare this ugly looking thing call me a bitch?” She chuckled.
“Let it go Bella and hand it over to her. You can always get another one.” Her friend stated.
Her friend is really sensible unlike her. She should just quietly hand the dress to me and select another dress just as her friend said.
“Hell no Mary! You do know me better than anyone and what I want I must get it and it is final. Look here lady, it best you get out of my side this instance or you’re going to regret ever calling me a bitch.”
“I thought you would be really sensible like your friend but I guess you are so dumb.” I smiled.
“Did you just call me dumb?” She grumbled.
“Yes and that’s what you are.” I answered with a smile while she frowned and handed the dress to her friend and slapped me on the face.
I was lost for a minute and shocked she dared to lay her hands on me. No one has dared lay their hands on me but she just did and will regret ever doing such.
“First of all, I am not dumb and secondly, I am not a bitch, you are and lastly, never try to mess with anyone without knowing who they are.” She stated.
“You dare slap me?” I sneered and tried to slap her back but her friend held my hand.
“Isn’t the slap enough for you to stop all your drama and get out of here?”
“Let go of my hand, bitch.” I growled and broke free from her grip.
“She wants more, Mary and I will give it to her.”
“Just because you slapped me and your friend stood in my way, you think you’re a hero. Let me tell you something. You just messed with the wrong person because I will find you and make sure you pay more than the slap.”
“I would love to see you try.” She laughed.
“Then get ready. I hope you can handle what’s coming your way.” I bellowed and walked away.
This is really a great embarrassment the bitch caused for me and I must make sure she pays for it. I have captured her face along with her friend's face. Both of them will pay dearly for this.
I walked over to the sofa and picked my bag and left the mall in rage.
Casabella’s POV
“I would have broken her skinny bones if she had slapped me.” I grumbled stepping out of the car.
“And lucky enough I had to stop her to save her from you. Bella, sometimes you have to control your hormones, you know?” Mary replied and stepped out of the car as well.
“Didn’t you see the way she was acting to me? She still had the guts to threaten me, like for real, who the hell does she think she is anyway?”
“It’s alright Bella. Let's go in.” She uttered as we headed to the door.
We stepped inside the living room and found Rosy watching a movie and having pizza and ice cream.
“You guys are back. What did you get for me?” She asked.
“Yep! Here you go babe.” Mary replied and handed three shopping bags to her.
“I guess having a pizza will cool off the anger in me.” I mouthed and took a piece and began to devour it.
“What’s wrong with you Bella? It's my last bite.”
“Well, too bad I got it.”
“Let her be, Rosy. You wouldn’t want to know what went wrong at the mall.” Mary laughed.
“What happened?” She asked.
“Bella got this pretty dress and she was showing it to me when all of a sudden a lady showed up and demanded to take the dress.” Rosy uttered.
“What? That’s really crazy.”
“Yeah, I know. However, Bella refused to give it to her and the lady called Bella dumb which triggered her hormones and made her slap the lady.”
“Wow, way to go girl. I wish I was there, I would have made it more fun.”
“That’s not all, Rosy. Did you know the crazy lady threatened to get back at me?” I stated, wiping my hands with a handkerchief.
“You don’t mean it. Why do I have a bad feeling about the lady?”
“Well, I don’t because there’s nothing she can do for me.”
“Can you describe how the lady looks?”
“Who cares to know her looks? Mary can give you a description.” I puffed and picked the rest of the shopping bag and headed towards the stairs.
“Well, I really can’t say. She’s a blonde and has a mole between her nose and lips.” Mary uttered.
“Hold on. Is she skinny and of average height with me?” Rosy questioned.
“How did you know?” I asked, turning around to stare at her.
“You wouldn’t believe it if I told you who she is.” She frowned.
“Who is she?” Mary asked.
“As far as I know there’s only one person who has that kind of mole.”
“Then who is she?” I asked.
“She’s the lady I told you guys about.”
“You have told us so many people, babe. Who is she?” Mary questioned.
“She’s Mark’s ex girlfriend, Betty.”
“Is that a joke or something?” I yelled.
“I wish it was, Bella.” She sighed.
