Mark's POV
I wasn't expecting Betty to be at such parties but seeing she has met with Casabella even feared me the most.
"Is that true Mark?" She asked.
"Well, yes. Meet Madison C. Williams, my fiancee. Baby, meet Betty Louis, my ex girlfriend and business associate." I introduced them but they kept glaring at each other.
"We already meet each other, my love and I must say she's really sweet." Casabella explained.
"Excuse, I want to use the rest." Betty uttered and trooped away.
"So when did you plan on telling me about her?" She asked and took her hand off mine.
I know I should have told her about Betty but I just felt it best she doesn't know about her but I guessed wrong.
"Baby, I wanted to tell you about her earlier but for your own best interest I just let it be." I sighed, holding on to her hands but she broke free from my grip.
"And you missed out the part where she's the reason you don't have my time again."
"That's not true my love and Alex can testify to it. I admit I have been busy lately with deals and all that but believe me baby, I don't have anything to do with her."
"Whatever, I need some air." She objected and walked out on me.
I should have told her from the start and now, it's coming back to me. I do hope she finds a means to forgive me for keeping it away from her.
Betty's POV
"Damn it!" I cried out, hitting the mirror inside the bathroom.
I can't believe she's Mark's fiancee. I was thinking it was some kind of lady but it turned out to be an enemy I just made. Mark didn't really make a good choice and the way she said the words was so hurting.
There's no way I will allow her to take full control of Mark while I can still have him back. I need to do something really fast about her.
"There's no way I will let her win this battle." I started with rage and took out a handkerchief from my purse and wiped off my tears.
I can't let her see my pain by any means. I will have to do the needful by removing her out of the picture alongside Rosy and Alex.
The three of them are the obstacles on my way in getting Mark back into my life.
"How are you feeling Mary?" I heard the dreadful voice I never wish never to see or hear outside the door of the restroom.
She walked inside as we both made eye contact with each other. I don't know why she had to come this way at the wrong time.
"I'll call you back, Mary." She said and cut the call.
"We finally meet again, bitch or should I say destroyer of relationships." I bawled, staring at her in disgust.
“You can call me whatever you want but you and I know things were never meant to work for you both and thank goodness I see to it.”
“But still things were going great until you and your wretched father had to separate us. Do you think I can ever forgive you and your father?”
“The last time I checked, it was due to your ill manners that my dad had to disapprove of your relationship with my brother and I had to tell him that as well.”
“It was doing all along and you're going to pay for it, bitch. Soon enough you’ll be joining your father where you both belong.”
“Whatever you’re planning to do will never work and you’ll come to regret your actions. If you will excuse me, I need to take in some fresh air, this place is too stiff for my liking.” She smiled and walked out.
She just insulted me and walked out on me? Whoa! This is really getting out of hand. She thinks I am the same Betty who acted nice just to let her like me, well too bad, I am not nice at all.
I will make sure she regrets ever knowing me. All I want right now is to see her dead and gone for good.
Casabella's POV
I was standing at a corner far away from Mark when Rosy showed up with two glasses of wine in her hands.
"Hey Bella, here you go. How are you feeling now?" She asked, handing a glass to me.
"Thanks Rosy. I'm good I guess." I mouthed.
"Have you spoken to him?"
"Not yet. I'm really hurt, he wasn't even planning to tell me about her and if you hadn't told me about her, I wouldn't have known as well."
"I know but he did it for a good reason and you know that."
"I do Rosy. I'm just sad he had to introduce her like this to me."
"Come out of it. Did I tell you, your encounter with her really was a great storm?"
"Tell me about it."
"I met her in the restroom a while ago."
"Tell me about it."
"It looks like she was shedding tears and her ways haven't changed one bit. She did bring up the revenge issue again and vowed to have her payback."
"She's really sick in the head."
“She sure is but I am not afraid of her at all.”
“I am with you, Rosy but I still feel it's about time you tell your brother about her.”
“Bella, I just don’t want him knowing about it for now.”
“Who knows if she can really harm you like she said but I do hope you get to change your mind soon enough.”
“I am strong enough to fight her back and besides I’ve got you and Mary with it, isn’t that enough courage to fight her back?”

"Baby, your dad and I are leaving. Stay safe and take good care of yourself and also avoid that lady, okay?"

"Bye dad. I'll be home tomorrow." I assured them.
"Alright princess." He smiled as they both walked out of the hall while Mark and Alex approached Rosy and I.
"Can we leave ladies?" Alex
"Sure. Let go." Rosy replied and held on to Alex as they both strolled out leaving Mark and I.
"Let go, baby." He urged me, staring right to my face with a sad face.
I know he's feeling bad but I must punish him a bit so he won't try to hide things away from me again.
I didn't say a word to him but I locked hands with him as we trail behind Rosy and Alex.
Mark's POV
Throughout the ride back home, Casabella didn't say a word to me and each time I tried reaching out to her hand, she kept swapping my hand.
"Baby, why are you doing this to me?" I asked, the moment the driver pulled to a stop at the mansion.
She just kept quiet and got down from the car while I rushed out of the car as well to see Rosy and Alex watching us.
“Come on baby, what’s with the change of attitude?” I asked again but she just walked away.
“I’m sure she will be fine bro. Go talk to her in the room.” Alex assured me.
“Yes, who knows maybe she isn’t angry over the issue of Betty but something else.” Rosy suggested.
“I don’t know Rosy but I will keep trying to persuade her until she talks to me.”
“That’s the spirit man. Go make your buddy proud of you.” Alex affirmed with a smile.
“Thank you both for the words of courage.” I responded and headed inside the mansion.
I stepped inside the living room but she wasn’t in sight which made me head to my room.
I stood at the door and took a deep breath and tried to open the door but it was locked from the inside.
“Baby, it's me, please open the door. I’m really sorry for keeping you in the dark about my past relationship.” I uttered, knocking on the door but didn’t hear a word from her.
