CHAPTER 86

Casabella’s POV

“What do you think I should wear for the birthday party?” Rosy asked, checking her wardrobe.

We got an invitation card to attend Mr Noah's birthday party, and the men decided to take us along since everyone will be coming with their partners and Mr Noah wants me there as well.

Rosy has been searching for what to wear and insisted I check which dress will fit her. However, I wasn't really worried about what to wear because Mark got me a new dress for the occasion.

“I’m sure there’s something that’s classy and beautiful inside the wardrobe. Just keep searching until you find one.” I suggested enjoying my sandwich.

“I’m still searching, babe. I just don’t know which one will rock the event. Please, come help me out.” She cried out.

“Alright. Let me finish with my sandwich, okay?”

"But I don't have much time, Bella. I'm sure Alex will be really mad at me if I don't look for a good dress to wear."

"Okay." I sighed and dropped the sandwich to help her out.

"Come on Rosy. These dresses are so beautiful, I see no reason why you didn't see them earlier." I added, taking out a black long ball dress amidst her new dresses.

"It didn't get my attention. It is really beautiful and dashing. I can't believe I had this dress all along."

"Thank goodness I am here to help you." I chuckled and headed back to my sandwich.

"You know Alex is going to go wild on me when he sees me on the dress."

"He sure will." I smiled, taking a bite from the sandwich when we heard a knock on the door.

"Yes, come in." Rosy answered as a maid walked in and bowed.

"Ma'am Casabella, sir is back from the office and wants to see you in the room."

"Okay. Thank you." I responded as she took her leave.

"You had better go meet him. I'm sure he's hungry for something." Rosy grinned.

"Or maybe not." I smiled and took the sandwich with me.

Betty's POV

All my effort to get close to Mark just keeps failing due to his best friend, Alex who I have got to clear out of the way by all means.

He's really a pain in the ass but this time around I will make sure I cause a rift between him and Mark or my chances of getting Mark will be a total failure.

Less I forget I still haven't seen the lady who had the guts to snatch my man away and think she can get away with him.

"Ma'am, this invitation card just arrived." Fin's words disputed my thoughts and handed the card to me.

I opened up the invitation card to see it was from our biggest investor in our company. He has invited me over to his birthday party which is being held tonight. There's no way I will miss the party for anything.

"Alright. You can leave but hold on."

"Yes ma'am."

"How's your search for the women I asked you to find?" I roared.

"The lady isn't living in that mansion again but I will keep searching."

"You had better be fast with it."

"Sure ma'am." He responded and left.

I just don't know why the hell I can't find the bitches and have my revenge? I'm sure she must have told someone of Ronald which is why she's hiding somewhere but not for long.

Mark's POV

I was about to take off my shirt when I heard the door being opened as she walked in looking beautiful as always.

"Baby, where have you been?" I asked, taking off the shirt revealing my bare chest and abs.

"I was chatting with Rosy. Why didn't you tell me you'll be home early?" She answered and walked up to me.

"Would you believe it if I tell you the reason?" I said, holding her around the waist.

"Why won't I believe you, tell me?"

"I feel horny. You know we haven't done it in some days now and my body can't withstand the torture for long."

"Seriously?" She chuckled.

"Yes baby. I was hoping you're going to let us do it today."

"I also miss you down there, you know." She said, shyly hiding her face.

"Is that so?" I chuckled, pulling her face up.

"I want to take a shower, can we do it inside?" I added, making her blush more.

I picked her up from the floor and made for the shower while she kept smiling.

EVENING

Casabella's POV

"We're all done ma'am. You can have a look at your reflection." One of the makeover artists said.

"Whoa! You guys did a perfect job. You look really beautiful, Bella." Rosy uttered.

"The makeup is really beautiful. Thank you guys for a job well done."

"Thank you ma'am." They choired.

"I wonder how my brother is going to react when he sees you. Who knows he might probably lost his mind for a minute." She joked.

"I'm sure Alex will do the same when he sees you."

"They both will." She replied and we both chuckled before making our way out to join them in the living room.

We both held hands as we took the stairs making the men notice our presence through the sound of our heels.

"Holy moly! You both look so beautiful and hot!" Alex commented which made us chuckle while Mark was only mute and kept staring at us.

"What's wrong, my love? Don't you like what you see?" I whispered in his ear, placing my hands around his neck.

"You look edible like strawberries. I wish we still had more time, I would have devoured you." He whispered to my ear and pecked me on the cheek.

"Baby, have I ever told you, you're a rare gem?" Alex mentioned, staring right to Rosy in the eyes.

"Yes, you have."

"But this time around, you're the rarest of all things." He added and pulled her into a kiss which made Mark and I smile.

"If you both are done, can we leave?" Mark coughed, which made them pull away from each other.

"Sure. We can always continue in the car, baby." Alex said and held Rosy as we all made outside.

We got outside the mansion as the bodyguards were already waiting for us as we took different cars with Rosy and Alex before we made for the journey.

We arrived at the event as the media and reporters rushed towards us but the bodyguards stood in the way as Mark and I got out of the car before Alex and Rosy did the same before we all walked inside the event hall holding our presents for the celebrant.

We met Mr Noah and his family at the entrance as we

"I'm glad, you all made it." He smiled as Mark handed him a bouquet of rose flowers.

"Happy birthday sir." Mark and I said at the same time which made him laugh.

"Thank you Mark and Madison."

"Happy birthday sir." Alex and Rosy also wished him as well.

"Thank you Alex and Rosy. You're really beautiful Rosy just like your brother had said."

"Thank you sir." She smiled.

"You're welcome dear. Madison, your parents are also here."

"Really?" I asked in shock.

"Yes. Please, do enjoy the party." He urged us inside as we all walked in.

I can't believe mum and dad never told me they were also invited.

"Baby!" I heard mum's voice calling out to me from behind.

We all turned around to see her and dad walking up to us.

"Mum, dad." I called out and hugged mum.

"How are you doing princess?"

"I'm fine dad." I replied and pulled away from the hug.

I was standing all alone when I saw Betty approaching me with a frown on her face.

I can't believe the bitch was invited to such an event like this. Seeing her here makes me feel happy about our last encounter. She really had a good one with me back then which must have made her feel embarrassed.

"Look who we have here? The bitch who got away from me." She gritted her teeth.

"Too bad for you, my friend stood in the way that day. If it wasn't the case, you would have gotten toasted." I grinned.

"Mind your language bitch." She protested, raising her hand up.

"What's going on baby?" Mum walked up on us.

"Thank god you're here mum. Remember the lady I told you from the mall? Well, this is the same lady." I explained to her which made her glare hard at Betty.

"Don't you ever mess with my baby girl again." She whispered to her.

"What did we talk about mum?"

"I'm sorry baby but she has got to know her place."

"That's what I am trying to explain to her. May I have a word with her alone, please?"

"Sure baby but I'll be watching you both closely so she won't try anything funny with you."

"Thanks mum." I responded as she strolled away while Betty was fuming with anger.

"Did you see how my mum is so concerned about me? Just guess what's going to happen to you when you try anything funny with me? I'll make sure I embarrass you in front of all these guests which I know you wouldn't do."

"Luck just always seems to favour you. First, your friend got in the way and now your mum but don't worry, it's not for long because I know how to make you pay."

"Let's see about that." I smiled as she turned around to leave but Mark stood in the way.

"Mark, you are here?" She uttered as her voice sounded stiff.

I'm sure she has no idea who I am all alone. Let's see how she will take the news.

"Yes, we both came together, do you have a problem with that?" I questioned and strolled towards him and locked hands with him.

"Mark, I don't understand. What's she talking about and how did you know her?"

"Let me save you the stress, darling. I'm his fiancee, do you have a problem with that?" I revealed as her face turned pale instantly.

That was the look I wanted to see on her when I saw a while ago. Too bad for her, I am the new woman in Mark's life not her anymore.
