CHAPTER 92

Mark’s POV

“I have her in my custody and the best thing for you is to drop your gun along with your men or I will pull the trigger.” The bastard uttered, holding Casabella on the neck and pointing a gun to her head.

“Let go of her or you won’t leave to tell your encounter with me.” I demanded staring at Casabella in the eyes.

“What can you possibly do? You have always been a problem to me. Everything was going great in my life when you showed up and took the woman I loved and then broke her heart. Do you think I can forgive you for that?”

“She was a bitch and I regret ever having anything to do with her." I spat out furiously but Casabella winked at me trying to communicate with me.

I looked down to her hand and saw it was folded which I then understood and pointed my gun towards him.

"Shot baby." She screamed and bite Ronald on the hand making him let go of her as she rushed up to me.

I shot him on his right hand and instructed my men to hold him down.

"Are you alright?" I asked cupping her cheeks but she only smiled with tears in her eyes.

"What took you so long?" She uttered in a whisper holding on to her stomach. I looked down and saw a blood stain on her hand.

He must have shot her there. I should have come earlier, I just hope our baby is okay.

"You will be alright baby." I carried her up and instructed some of the men to pick Rosy and Leo's brother as well while the rest stayed behind holding the bastard.

I'm going to tear him up into different pieces for hurting them.

I rushed out of the mansion and instructed some men to take them to the hospital while I headed back to teach the bastard a lesson.

"You'll be fine, baby. Once I am done with that bastard, I will come for you." I uttered and kissed her forehead before handing her over to one of the men before heading back inside.

"I caught the bitch and there's one more thing, she has set a thirty minutes bomb. We have got to leave or we'll all die."

"Not until I kill that bastard and the bitch." I insisted and headed back to the room with him.

"Mark, please believe me, he was the one who manipulated me into kidnapping Madison and Rosy. I never wanted to do it, please forgive me. I love you so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." She pleaded, with tears in her eyes.

She's such a disgusting being. She doesn't deserve any pity or any remorse for killing my father and allowing those bastards rape my sister in my presence. What more does she deserve if it is not death.

"You're a big disgrace to womanhood. Do you think I don't know you were the one behind my father's death and the injustice done to my sister? You deserve nothing but death, bitch." I flared and shot her in the head twice and faced Ronald.

I will make sure I torture him before he dies. Nobody has ever messed with me like he did which is why I will make it a painful death for him.

"You shouldn't have messed with me if you knew I was the mafia king." I smiled as I saw his facial expression change to shock.

"You're the son of a bitch all along?" He gritted his teeth.

"Watch your words, bastard." Alex cautioned him.

"I should have known it all along. There's no way I will watch you get away with what you have done to me."

"There's obviously nothing you can do because I've you under my control."

"Fuck you!!!" He barked.

"It feels so great hearing your voice crack a bit." I laughed and instructed the men to release him and turned around staring at the door.

"Too bad you're wrong." He said, which made me turn around to see him pointing a gun at me.

"To hell with you." He added and pulled the trigger but Alex pushed me away taking the bullet for me.

The men began to fire at him as Alex smiled and fell to the floor. I took my gaze at Ronald who was breathing heavily and walked over to him and shot him on the head countless times before ripping the head off in rage.

I rushed up to Alex who was coughing out blood. He was shot in the back twice.

"Stay with me buddy." I picked him up and rushed out of the mansion with the men.

We were a distance away from the mansion when we heard the explosion of the mansion but I cared less as I rushed up towards the cars.

The men helped me in putting him inside the car while I joined him, holding his hand tightly.

"I don't know if I will make it but please tell Rosy I love her so much and our baby." He stammered, coughing out more blood.

"Don't you fucking die on me, man. Stay strong, you're almost to the hospital." I screamed, tapping him on the face as his eyes were slowly shutting off.

Casabella's POV

I slowly opened my eyes when I felt a sharp pain on my stomach recalling the whole incident of Ronald stabbing on the spot.

I just pray my baby is still safe and unharmed if not I won't forgive myself. I looked around to see myself on a bed in a room which looks like I'm in a hospital.

I tried to get up but I just couldn't due to the pain in my stomach and managed to rest my back on a pillow.

"You're awake. How do you feel now?" A middle aged doctor with light brown hair asked as he walked inside the room.

"I'm still feeling some pain in my stomach."

"Let me have a look." He uttered, checking my stomach which was already bandaged.

"It really hurts a lot."

"Don't worry, the pain will wear off in no time after I inject you with this medicine. I'm glad you and your baby are fine." He assured me and injected me.

"Thank god! I was worried about that." I sigh in relief.

"You don't have to worry anymore. Your husband was really worried about you."

"My husband?" I asked as my thought went to Mark.

"Mr Clinton, he was here a while ago but he went to check up on the other patient he brought last night." He said, which got me curious.

"Is the patient a woman or a man?"

"It's a man and it seems he's someone close to him."

That means Alex got hurt on the way. I hope he's really fine.

"What's the condition of the patient?"

"I really can't say because the bullets narrowly escaped his heart. At this moment, his condition is critical but let's hope for the best."

"God! That's really sad." I uttered with sadness.

"He will be fine. He's a strong man after all."

"Yes, he is. Can you please inform my husband I am awake?" I requested calling Mark my husband.

"Alright Mrs Clinton." He smiled and walked out.

I pray he gets well soon and I hope Mark isn't hurt as well.

Mark's POV

I was glad Rosy, Casabella and Leo's brother were out of danger but I was still worried about Alex.

He endangered his life to save me and now I can't even do a single thing to help me. The bullets were removed from his body but he wasn't responding to treatment.

It was as if he doesn't want to live and I can't live without that if he doesn't fight his way out of it.

Rosy has been crying all day and refuses to eat until Alex wakes up. I just hope he wakes up soon .

The doctor told me Casabella was awake which made me rush to meet her in her ward. I was glad our baby was in good shape.

"Hey baby." I called out, stepping inside the ward.

"Hi hubby." She smiled as I took a seat at the tip of the bed.

"How do you feel?"

"I feel much better. The doctor told me about Alex. How is he and what really happened to him?"

"He took a bullet for me and he's still unconscious. I just hope he wakes up soon for the sake of Rosy. She has been crying all day and has refused to take anything."

"I know how she feels. Are you the one who told the doctor we're married?"

"Yes, my love. You'll be my wife soon after all, is there something you don't like?" I croaked.

"That's right. Erhm... I never knew you had that part in you when you're angry."

"Well, that's when I get pissed off and moreover, he abducted the two most important people in my life."

"I must say, you were really cool." She chuckled.

"You wouldn't like that part, baby."

"No matter what you are or what you will be, my love for you will always remain the same."

"I love you so much." I cupped her face.

"I love you too." She responded and pulled my face closer to her face as I slowly captured her lips with mine.
