CHAPTER 94
ONE MONTH LATER
Casabella’s POV
Everything has been great in our lives as everything was back to normal with no mortal enemies. And also I quickly recovered from my wound and was preparing to spend some quality time with Mark in a peaceful environment.
We had planned to spend some quality time together at the pent house he got for our wedding.
Our wedding was around the corner and there’s still a lot of preparation to be made, one of which is shopping for our wedding dresses.
Rosy, Mary and I were all getting married on the same day and we’re so very excited about it. It was my idea for us all to get married the same day which the men also agreed to.
However, the men have been catching up with Mary’s fiance who is also her best friend. He’s also a billionaire like Alex and has been in love with Mary since childhood but never got the courage to express his feelings for her until Mary did the talking herself.
“Baby, are you all set?”
“Yeah, I just want to apply a little makeup.”
“But you’re beautiful with or without it.”
“Hell no, I totally feel like shit right now. Haven’t you seen how I look these past few days? It's like I’m adding a little bit of weight.”
“What’s the big deal, my love? We’ve got to hurry up, come on.”
“Did you just say that?” I frowned and folded my hands.
“Here we go again. What did I tell you about getting all worked up over little things?” He grumbled which made me more furious.
“Well, you just don’t seem to care now, right?” I screamed and rushed out of the room.
Everyone has been telling me to take things easy each time they piss me off and Mark happens to be doing that constantly.
Rosy and Alex already left to spend some time together as well as Mary and Nick. I was hoping Mark was going to run begging me but he seemed to care less about my feelings.
I walked out of the living room furiously and met the bodyguards waiting by the cars and without saying a word to them, I hopped inside the car waiting for him to join.
Few minutes later, he showed up and tried to apologise but I put up a straight face and said I wasn’t interested in whatever he had to say.
I will make sure I punish him a bit before speaking to him and will make sure he stays a week without having sex.
Mark’s POV
I really don’t mean to say those words to her but sometimes she has got to control how she takes everything in without really knowing what it means.
I know the change of attitude in her is as a result of the pregnancy and I have been trying every means not to get on her bad side but I just did and will have to surprise her with something she loves.
Throughout our journey to our penthouse, I kept staring at her but she never seemed to look at me and kept streaming through her phone but I have got a plan to change her mood back. I took out my phone and called Thomas.
“Good morning sir.” He said, on the other side.
“Good morning. Do you remember the stuff I asked you to handle tonight?” I asked.
“Yes sir. I’ll handle it tonight.”
“Well, there’s a change of plan. I don’t want stuff to take place there, change the venue.”
“Okay sir, I’ll do just as you have said. Is there something else you want me to do?”
“Yes, I will send you a message on that.”
“Okay sir.” He replied before ending the call only to see her staring at me.
I was hoping she was going to say before taking her face off which made me only smile at her before.
Just wait until you see the surprise, I have for you, my love. You will totally love and forgive me instantly.
After the long drive, we finally arrived at the penthouse. She was about to step out of the car when I pulled her by the hand and drew her close to my body.
“I’m really sorry, baby. I know I shouldn’t have said those words to you but your silence is really killing me.”
“Well, you should have thought about my feelings in the first place.”
“I’m so sorry. What can I do to prove how sorry I am?”
“A lot and I hope you’re ready for it?”
“I’m totally ready as long as it will make you happy.”
“Hmmm… very well then but I’ve some conditions if you’re going to abide by it.”
“Alright, I am ready.”
“Interesting!” She paused with a smile and continued.
“First, I want a separate room with you and secondly, no sexual attraction for a week and lastly, I want ice cream and fruit every single day. Can you withstand the first and second conditions really well?”
“That’s a lot, baby. You do know I can’t let the first one happen and for the second one, I can’t handle the urge and you simply know that.”
I can’t believe she wants to punish me this much. There’s no way I will accept to share separate rooms with her, not to talk of going a week without making love to her.
“That’s the conditions Mr Mark Clinton and if you’re ready to abide by them then we’re cool.” She smiled, moving her face closer to mine.
“Baby, come on. You don’t have to do that.”
“Actually, I do and you’ve got to decide.” She pecked my cheek and pulled away from me before stepping out of the car.
Casabella’s POV
I smiled broadly when I stepped out of the car and walked towards the penthouse. I really don’t have the intention of doing any of the conditions I laid out to him but I want him to know how hurt I felt with his words.
I also want to see how much he really cares about me. If it turns out he accepts the condition then I really know he’s sad and doesn't know what to do and if he disagrees with the conditions then I am sure he knows I am only putting up an act.
I stepped inside the living room looking around when I heard him from the door. I turned around to see him approaching me with a straight face.
I guess he’s really pissed off with my words but I pray he disagrees with the condition and hugs me tightly to himself.
I really hate to stress him too much with everything. I want him back to me.
“I’ve made my decision.” He uttered, standing close to me with his breath fanning my face.
His cologne alone was already getting the better of him from hugging him to myself but I had to control myself.
“Tell me.” I gulped down my saliva in anticipation of his answer.
He pulled me by the waist and moved his lips close to mine before saying the words.
“I refuse to accept your conditions, Mrs Casabella Clinton.” He smiled and slammed our lips together.
I didn’t reciprocate at first but when he bite my bottom lip, I found myself slightly parting my lips apart which made him get his way through my mouth.
I tried to fight the urge to kiss him back but he kept touching every inch of my mouth.
He just seems to know how to tempt me so much. I found myself kissing him hungrily.
After long minutes of devouring each other’s mouth, we pulled away catching our breath and staring right into each other’s eyes with so much love and affection.
“I’m terribly sorry for saying those words to you earlier.” He apologised, breathing faintly.
“I’m so sorry as well for acting that way to you.” I apologised as well.
“It’s alright baby. I shouldn’t have complained in the first place so let's forget about everything and have fun.”
“Do you mean the real fun or just the normal fun?” I grinned, sounding naughty.
“The one you’re thinking about right now.” He smiled and picked me up in a bridal style.
“You’re so naughty, my love.” He added, which made me shy.
“You taught me that after all.” I murmured to his hearing causing him to laugh.
We headed inside our bedroom where we’ll have our first night together as married couple and placed me on the bed.
“I can’t imagine how beautiful you will look on our wedding night. I’m sure I won’t be able to recognize you.”
“That’s a surprise for you till the night but right now, let’s enjoy a little bit before the wedding night.” I smirked and moved his face closer to my face.
“Are you ready to take me inside of you?”
“Try me. You never know what this pregnant lady is really capable of doing?” I challenged him and slowly captured his lips in a steady kiss.
