Truth
Finding information about Evander was also not easy. Barry suggested Luther hire a reliable informant, so he could only agree and fork out more money. Even with reliable informants, it took two weeks to find even a small amount of information.
But even the slightest bit of information is still useful to him.
It is said that Evander Zamiel was the second of the three Zamiel siblings. His family is the second richest in their country. There are many big businesses that his family runs; one of them is the aviation business, resort and real estate development, foreign hotels, oil palm plantations and even state-owned businesses such as oil, natural gas and gold mining. It could be said that this family was the Strongest Business King.
'So that's why I feel familiar with the name.'
"But why do we have someone like that as an assistant? Our company isn't too big for the second young master of the big family to visit, let alone be an assistant. Does this make sense?" Luther was confused.
"It says here that Evander and the young master were close friends as teenagers, sir." Barry replied.
As a teenager? When does this take place? Was it when Arthur ran away from home?
"He's got powerfull people behind him, it's only natural that he'd be so bold. I've wanted to try my luck many times to get to know the first born of this family, but never had the chance." Luther sneered.
The first child of that family or Evander's older brother was named Kylan Zamiel. After his father retired, the entire company was handled by him. He was only thirty-five years old, and he could take care of all the business in the palm of his hand easily. A terrible person and also difficult to reach.
"Any other information?"
This time the informant beside Barry shook his head. "Could not be accessed."
"I see. It's possible that this Kylan Zamiel has stepped in to help Arthur. I'll find a chance to make an appointment with him."
On the other hand, if they can discuss business at the same time, this might be a good opportunity for his company.
In the end, it was very difficult to make an appointment with the very busy King of Business. After waiting a week, Luther only got approval to meet with him. Kylan was very strict and didn't want meetings outside the company, for that Luther came to Kylan's company.
He was herded to the top floor of the company, to be precise in a luxury penthouse owned by Kylan, which was also his resting place at lunchtime.
A beautiful young maid pushed open the door for him. "Mr. Zamiel is waiting inside."
Luther entered the door and met an empty hallway and there was an open door. The maid just walked up to the door and Kylan was sitting on the couch closing his eyes.
"Come in," said the man.
Luther entered. He came alone this time without anyone's assistance. He was deliberately lowering himself to curry favor with this business magnate.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Zamiel. I am Luther Finnegan."
Kylan opened his eyes and asked Luther to sit down.
"I've heard from my secretary and I've also known you for quite a while. But maybe you don't know me," Kylan said, his voice surprisingly calm.
Who doesn't know him?
Luther smiled while watching Kylan twist his neck several times, looking exhausted.
"Am I bothering you?"
"Not really. Since you always propose meetings for no apparent reason, I can only agree this time. I'm currently free due to my break time."
Luther laughed awkwardly. These words were spoken as if he was indeed a stubborn bully. He really wanted to curse inside.
"Let's get back to business. So why did the owner of the property company come in person to see me?" Kylan's eyes turned sharp and he sat down with his legs folded. "I remember that my brother works in your company. Did he make trouble?"
Luther looked up in surprise. "So you know about this, and didn't prevent him? I mean, your brother can work wherever he wants, but why is he working as an assistant to the CEO of my company?"
The maid came after Luther had finished this sentence. Kylan took his own cup and drank it slowly. "Drink first, Mr. Finnegan."
Luther took the cup and drank.
"My brother really likes to play games, you don't need to think about it," Kylan continued.
Luther only responded with a smile.
"CEO of your company now, isn't that Arthur? How is he now? I haven't seen him in a long time," Kylan asked then.
"You even know my son?"
As soon as Luther said the word 'son', Kylan's eyes flashed slightly, not taking his eyes off Luther. But those stares meant nothing.
"Arthur has saved my brother's life in the past. Our family owes him one," Kylan answered honestly.
Luther didn't expect this situation.
"My brother really likes to go around, but he doesn't have bad intentions. If he proves to be a problem for you at the company, you can tell me, I will compensate for all losses," Kylan continued.
Luther put down his glass. "Wait a minute, you said your brother was saved by my son. When exactly was that?"
After all, Luther felt that this was pretty good, if Kylan felt he owed something, Luther could take advantage of this to initiate cooperation. He thinks Arthur can be relied upon this time.
Why did he only find out now?
"You say it like this, meaning you already know the truth?" Kylan looked at him curiously. What he meant was because Luther always referred to Arthur as his son with proud eyes.
"Truth?" Luther was confused.
Even if he didn't know the truth yet, Kylan didn't want to cover it up. He didn't want to play with his little brother anymore.
He said calmly but provocatively, "Yeah. The truth is that Arthur is your biological son."

'I was the one who covered up all that information. Since you want to know, I can't hide it anymore now. You can see for yourself.'
Luther stamped his feet firmly in his steps down the hospital hallway. All of Kylan's words sounded so loud in his head.
'I'm sorry, Mr. Finnegan. I don't mean to hide all the truth, but your son asked for it.'
Why?
Why is Arthur doing all this?
Luther still felt how his hands were shaking when Kylan's assistant came and told him all the real data about Arthur. On it the original DNA test results stated that Arthur was his legitimate biological child with his first wife.
'Arthur said sooner or later he would leave you. He doesn't want anything to do with you. But even if he hid it, it was your young wife who faked the DNA test in the first place.'
If Luther couldn't hold on, he might have a heart attack right then and there.
He saw the door of the ward he was headed for and pushed it open roughly. His eyes reddened, he was ready to throw a tantrum as soon as he saw Nancy.
"I want to talk to you," Luther said through gritted teeth.
Nancy immediately rose up nervously. Approaching her husband. "H-Honey, don't talk here. Come on, get out."
Luther shook off her hand and left first, leaving Matthew confused in the room.
The two of them then went to a quieter place. On the right and left there is a garden with many flowers blooming. Even that beautiful place didn't dampen Luther's anger at all. He threw the paper he was carrying into Nancy's face hard.
"What is this? Tell me the truth, is this true?!"
Nancy was scared to see her husband angry and picked up the fallen paper. Her eyes widened.
It was the real Arthur's DNA test. And there is another paper that did not have time to read.
"Judging from your reaction, it looks like it's true. Everything here is the truth!" Luther's tone rose, no matter how his throat hurt from continuing to scream, he continued, "Why did you do all this? Why did you falsify his DNA test results?!"
Nancy staggered backwards. Couldn't say anything.
"Answer me!"
Nancy was shocked. Then she looked up with teary eyes. "Then what if that's the truth? Then what if he's your son?! It won't change anything! He has hurt Matthew! And I'll pay him back even if you forbid me!"
"I'm not talking about Matthew, I'm asking what your purpose is in doing all this!" said Luther no less annoyed. "Because of the results of your actions, I hated my own wife and son for many years! Do you know that?!"
Nancy laughed loudly, so loudly that she looked down clutching her stomach in amusement.
"You hating your first wife is your business, it has nothing to do with me!" Nancy didn't know why she dared to say this, she continued to add fuel to the fire, "After all that woman is dead and your illegitimate son will soon catch up with her! Why? Because I will kill him with my own hands!"
Luther raised his hand and slapped her.
Silence for a moment, her face turned to the side because of the hard slap. It's hot and sore.
"Don't you think you can do it!"
Luther's breath heaved with anger.
Nancy wept silently, not resisting.
After a while, Luther's anger melted away a bit and he calmed down as he said, "I'll take care of our divorce."
Nancy looked up in surprise. "W-W-Wait Honey. D-Divorced? What do you mean divorced? I-I just got carried away for a moment, I-I'm not going to kill Arthur. I wouldn't even dare to do such a heinous thing. You know how I do, don't you?"
Luther brushed off her hand that was trying to touch him. He closed his eyes to quell some anger, but the flames that had subsided slowly flared up again.
"Nancy, don't think I don't know that you killed Rose. Also about you taking one of Arthur's kidneys to give to Matthew without me knowing." As angry as the fire in his heart was, Luther didn't have the energy to even scream anymore.
What was in his heart was anger for himself. If he was mad at her, he was also mad at himself for allowing this to happen.
The world was about to collapse when he learned all the truth. Why could such suffering be experienced by his wife and biological son whom he abandoned?
Even if he had to die, he couldn't pay for this mistake.
God will curse him.
He didn't want to see her face, he looked away. "I will not send you to the police, this is tolerance from me as your ex-husband, but get out of my life now."
"But, H-Honey—"
"Go away!"
Nancy frantically grabbed her husband's arm. "No! I'm not going! At least let Matthew recover first and then we'll talk about this again, ok? I-I'm guilty. I was wrong. Please give me a chance. Matthew has suffered a lot, he's your son too. He's your biological son that I give birth. Don't you want to think about him?"
This time Luther didn't brush off Nancy's hands. He closed his eyes tightly and countless bad memories swirled in his head.
He had never mentioned his first wife's name for dozens of years. This was the first time he had mentioned it again.
Rose.
When Luther divorced Rose back then, she'd begged like this for Arthur. Rose doesn't care how she is torn to pieces because of the betrayal, but she still wants Arthur to live his life well.
But what is a loser like him to do?
He just kept on hurting this poor woman.
If he did the same thing this time, would there be any other regrets in his heart?
Luther heard Nancy's loud cry and slowly the front of his clothes got wet as the tears soaked him. He didn't know since when she hugged him and soon the feelings of disgust and anger returned. He pushed her away.
"I'll give you three months. The divorce will go ahead. After three months, go and pack your things."
No matter how she called him behind, Luther would not back down. After all this all he wanted was to see his wife and son he had abandoned and ask for forgiveness.
Even if it cost him his life.

"Okay."
At the German General Hospital, in one of the treatment rooms, Evander turned off the phone and his eyes darkened.
"What is it?" Dave, who was eating the food, looked at him.
"Nothing. My brother sent money and asked me to spend it in one day."
"Shit! Can he be my brother?"
Evander shrugged. "Just take it. Having a brother like him is boring. He is too strict and can't take a joke."
Dave put down the empty plate, whispering, "Geez! I'm used to living in such a strict family. I guess as long as I get money, I'll be happy."
"Then deal!"
"Huh?"
"My brother told me to go home after I ran out of money. You have to replace me. I'll go first." Evander said indifferently.
After saying that, he actually left. Outside Arthur's ward, he saw Livy who looked tired, but at least her face looked better than a few days ago.
This is a month after Arthur had surgery on his eyes and in fact he underwent another neurosurgery operations and is still unconscious. The doctor said that his condition is currently stable. The reason why he fell into a coma was because his consciousness had weakened due to the last relapse plus he almost lost a lot of blood. It's just that the doctor made sure that he made it past his critical period and will have a long recovery from his surgeries.
During that time, Livy barely slept to accompany Arthur by his side. The fact that she was pregnant worried him but persuading her to rest was very difficult. After several times assuring her that Arthur was fine, they were finally able to persuade her to rest and sleep at home.
She had only rested for about three hours, why did she come back so soon?
"You want to go?" asked Livy a bit nervous.
Evander found this somewhat amusing. Since Dave snapped at her in the hospital that night, she has been very cautious around them. She still feels a bit scared and sometimes still feels guilty about what she did.
"I'm going to have a smoke. There's Dave in there." Evander answered.
Livy nodded.
Evander looked at Livy's pale face and said, "Now that things are under control, shouldn't you do what you should do?"
Livy was confused. "What do you mean?"
Evander pushed up his glasses. "After I go smoking, how about I accompany you to check your pregnancy?"
