Loose character
Tears lingered in Shania's eyes as she stayed put and listened to all that her so-called mother had to say. Her chest tightened so much that she felt her heart painting with every vile word from her mother.
“You should be ashamed…is this to get back at me…” Madeline said angrily that has had enough. She couldn't hold back tears any longer.
“Sleeping with him…what will your little sisters think, huh!” Madeline shouted again before Shania could say anything. Again, a sharp pain pierced through Shania's heart.
“Stop it now!” Shania yelled, shocking Madeline, whose expression darkened even more. “You don't know anything, what's wrong with you!” Shania yelled again, and this time her face was flooded with tears. The salty taste lingers at the tip of the tongue.
“You said I'm loose…my actions were like that of a prostitute?” Shania scoffed while wiping tears with the back of her hands. She took a step back and let out a sarcastic laugh.
“What do you know about me, Madeline? Your daughter…the girl you gave birth to” Shania said more coldly, her expression turned sour as she fixed her sharp eyes on her mother.
“Don't you dare change the subject… I want whatever you have with Christian to end now,” Madeline said, averting her eyes from Shania. But she knew the topic she was bringing up was undoubtedly the truth Madeline hated hearing.
“You know nothing about me…you have no right to judge me…you failed your duties as a mother,” Shania spoke with disdain in her tone. Madeline glanced up and found nothing but anger flashing in Shania's eyes.
“You think I'm loose…but what about you…you couldn't even wait for Dad's body to get cold in the grave when you jumped into another man's bed!” Shania shouted only to get a surprise of a lifetime when a heavy slap landed across her face. Her heart raced as she held her face and slowly tilted her head to look at the woman standing before her raging.
“I'm disappointed in you…it was a mistake letting you stay with your grandparents…this is how ill-mannered you have become,” Madeline said, regretting her decision of letting Shania stay with her grandparents. She had become disrespectful.
“Hahaha, of course…you've never been a good mother…you abandoned your child…to raise another woman's children," Shania remarked, feeling her face burning from the slap. “My dad never raised his hands on me…my grandparents never did… I hate you, Madeline… I hate you!” Shania said with hatred and ran out of the room. She bumped into someone in the passageway. However, her eyes had become blurry from tears. She couldn't stand it any longer. All she wanted was to run. Run far away and never see Madeline's face again.
“Shania, get back here!” Madeline shouted after Shania but stopped when she met Christian in the hallway.
“What's going on…she seems upset?” Christian asked, seeing how Shania bumped into him, she was crying, and she didn't stop when he called her.
“Nothing,” Madeline said with a death glare and hurried down the passageway to get to her daughter. Christian was surprised by how Madeline looked at him. He didn't bother but decided to see Shania. As soon as the whole family reached outside, Shania's car was already out of sight.
“What's going on…did you two fight?” George said as the entire family gathered outside, noticing how the mother and daughter duo were behaving.
“She left rushing…is everything okay?” Evans asked as his gaze shifted to Madeline. Christian didn't waste time but grabbed his car keys and rushed to his car. He had no time to waste.
“It's nothing you should worry about,” Madeline said coldly and walked back inside. George and Evan exchanged questionable glances, still wondering why people were acting strange.
“She's not a queen… I mean why ruin our night,” it was Emily, Evan's twin sister, who said disdainfully and walked back inside. She didn't know her cousin cared about that woman so much.
“That slut, just you wait…foolish woman…you dared sleep with Ace," Emily muttered angrily as she proceeded to the stairs. She should have known her cousin was having an affair with Shania. It was good that Christian told her. Which was why she made sure Madeline found out about the little secret.

Christian was going crazy as he drove at full speed without worrying about any traffic rules. He lost Shania. He didn't know how he lost her, but it seemed as if the woman's car just disappeared into thin air.
“Are you certain?” Christian asked while running his hands through his hair. A half-naked Danny nodded in frustration.
“Yes…now run along,” Danny said, making his point known to Christian. He was naked because Christian came knocking at his door when he was having a wild time with his women.
“Where else can she be…damn it, Danny!” Christian was frustrated. He had never been so restless in his entire life, and not knowing Shania's whereabouts made him angry.
“Hey man, look here…it's late, okay…why don't you…go to her friend…her old apartment… I'm sure she's there” Danny said with irritation and tried certainly to cover his lower part. Christian glanced up and frowned.
“I'm going crazy here…and all you can think about is fucking?” Christian asked disdainfully, and Danny chuckled.
“Ha! I can't deny my body that right…now run along, go and look for your love” Danny smirked mischievously, but Christian couldn't stay there. He left right away and drove straight to Shania's old apartment. Maybe she had gone to her friend.
“Damn, I should have gone there,” he said in frustration, and knew going to the club was a bad idea. He thought Shania would be there, but unfortunately, she was not.
When Christian reached Isabella's apartment. He was damned to find what he wasn't expecting. His friend Kenny was having sex with the woman
“What happened…is she okay…she isn't here?” Isabella asked with desperation. She was wearing Kenny's coat which barely covered her legs while Kenny kept his eyes down.
“Isa, think… I'm sure she can't be for…what places do you think she might go to” Kenny chimed in for the first time.
“Tell me…does she have her favorite place to go to…” Christian said, looking at Isabella who sat down and made a thinking face. After a while, Isabella's eyes widened in amusement.
“Grandparents…with what you said… I'm certain she went to her grandparents' house… I don't know but…” Isabella said hesitantly, but Christian was already out the door. He was a fool not to think that far. Shania was there. Just to be sure. He asked Travis and his team to keep searching for Shania. Her grandparents' house was his last hope.
