Chapter 10

The next day was the primordials meeting and it was to be held at Vince home although Gwen was happy with the familiar environment, she was still a little fearful of the primordials, James had made one small mistake about why she was present and she nearly paid for it with her life, all she needed was to show her sassy self if Vince was not there and he would come back to see her broken body on the floor.

" Gwen, it is too early for you to be awake. Go back to sleep and stop worrying. " Vince sleepy voice said from behind her as the arm that was wrapped around her drew her even closer to the bare chest that her back was resting against.

" how did you know that I was worried. " Gwen asked as her body melted against Vince own as she shifted around to find a comfortable space.

" I could sense it from the bond. It was what woke me up. " Vince told her as he adjusted his posture to make her more comfortable.

" I can't help it. Jake just mistook my identity yesterday and look at what happened. And there is a chance that the same thing might happen again today. " Gwen said as she bit her lower lip in worry

" stop that. " Vince orders as his throat suddenly went dry.

Gwen realised that Vince was getting turning by her actions and stopped it. " Sorry. "

" it is okay but I would prefer not to have you sleepy when the others start arriving and that is exactly what will happen if you keep tempting me. "

" it wasn't on purpose. " Gwen said as she hits Vince playfully.

" I know, I know. " Vince said with a laugh.

" when do you think that me falling asleep, will stop. " Gwen asked Vince quietly.

" well, it was a minimum of thirty minutes before and now it is fifteen and you don't fall asleep immediately so I think within two more months of a lot of sex. That will do the trick. " Vince said as he rolled Gwen beneath him.

" I thought you said that you don't want me drowsy when they do come. " Gwen said with out thinking a raised eyebrow.

" I didn't but then again, all this talks of sex got to me. I am a male after all. " Vince said as he nibbles on her neck.

" they will start arriving soon. " Gwen pointed out.

" and Jessica will keep them busy. I don't care, I just have to have you. " Vince said as he bit into her neck.

Gwen let's out a moan at the burst of ecstasy she was feeling. " not fair. "

Vince raised his head with his eyes shinning in mischief. " want me to stop. "

" you have already started. " Gwen said drawing Vince to her again. " just continue. "

Vince chuckled at his mate response, he was so lucky to have seen Gwen. The feeling of happiness she brings into his day is immeasurable.

Gwen woke up and didn't see Vince around her so that will only mean one thing, that the others were around. She got out of the bed as she went to shower and then got dressed in her house clothes, although she was nervous about the primordials, she wasn't going to act like she thrilled or nervous at the meeting. She would act like it is every day normal for her. She snorted as she wore her sandals.

Does she even know what normal is for her anymore. All she knew and reveled in was Vince and only him. She walked out of the room and used her nose to trace, where Vince is so that she can meet him.

" hey Gwen. " Jessica greeted with a smile.

Gwen smiles back at Jessica, she liked the girl enough to be comfortable around her but most times she forget that Jessica was older enough to be her great grand mother of couple of times over. Jessica don't mind when she talks with her informally though, she even encouraged it but Gwen wasn't too thrilled about it. Just because she was mated to Vince, that doesn't mean that she get to treat other primordials that they were equals when they are not. In fact she was nothing to them and Jake cleared that up when he quickly cornered her. Twice. She needed to get training from Vince about how to defend herself from other primordials and although Vince would not be happy about that because he would think that she should trust all of them but right now and for the nearest future, Jake showed her how she should not hope that they will all protect her.

" hello Jessica. " Gwen greeted as Jessica drew her into a hug.

" stop being so formal with me. " Jessica complains as she glares at Gwen. " we are practically family now so I don't see the need for all this formalities. "

" I do, you are a primordial. " Gwen argues

" so is Vincent. " Jessica pointed out.

" he is also my mate. " Gwen said dryly.

" and I am family since I am his younger sister but don't worry, the others will make you feel comfortable so fast that you wouldn't know what hit you. " Jessica said as she led Gwen through the castle and more closer to Vince scent so Gwen didn't complain that Jessica was holding onto her hand and leading her like a child. She suppose that is what she is to Jessica though.

" if you say so. " Gwen said willing to let the issue die. Jessica shot her a look that said that she knew what Gwen was doing but she was going to allow it.

When they got to a blank wall in the study before Gwen could complain about it. Jessica put her hand on the wall and it opened. " wow. That looks cool. " Gwen said.

" I know and that was the reason why I was waiting for you. You couldn't have done it yet since I am sure that Vince had not let you come up for air not to talk about getting your prints to give you access to everywhere in this castle. Like other primordials have. " Jessica said as they bent around a corner and Gwen came to a stop. In a rectangular table, with his back turned facing her but his body twisted to look at her, Vince sat at the head while five other pairs of eyes locked on her.

" hello. " Gwen said as she wet her mouth and managed to voice out after a couple of tries.

" hello. " voices greeted her back. She went closer to Vince because she felt like he would be the only one that will protect her and as soon as she came close to him, he wrapped his hands around her and pulled her to him.

" ladies. Gents. This is my mate Gwen and Gwen, this is the primordials. " Vince said as he introduced them to her one after the other. When he was done, he cleared his throat. " well, then let's get the meeting started. "

" what is our first agenda today. " Celeb asked removing his eye from Gwen to look at Vince who was glaring at him for looking at his mate for too long.

" boss you know that I am just curious about her. Nothing more. " Celeb said as he raised his hands as a sign of surrender.

" why did he call you boss. " Gwen asked Vince.

" wait he didn't tell you. This is juicy " Jessica said as she leaned forward and press her weight against the table.

" Jessica. " Vince said in a warning tone.

" tell me what. " Gwen asked, her gaze moving between Vince and his sister.

" he is the leader of the primordials. " Jessica said after a staring contest with her brother.
