Chapter 12

Heather almost caught her breath when she saw how Blake’s face darkened when he heard Kevin. The latter on one hand had his brows knitted as he looked at Blake's hand on her forearm.

"Kevin.." She murmured.

She didn’t call him hon like she got used to because she felt that if she did that, Blake might do something bad to the other man. It seemed like he was just waiting for an opportunity to smack Kevin. They were already drawing attention. People in the lobby were eyeing them.

"Are you sure you want to intervene?" Blake asked Kevin in a spine-tingling tone.

Her heart skipped a beat when looked like he didn’t want to leave. She needed to say something to lessen the tension.

"Please Blake people are staring. Kevin is here. Let him take drive me.” She pleaded.

This wasn’t the time to be feisty though she wanted to yell at him. He was acting as if he has the right to meddle with her business. She was sure that Stacey would never ask him to watch over her. He just wanted to piss her all the time. His expression became more steely when Kevin took her hand. Blake gritted his teeth and tightened his hold on her arm and she almost winced in pain.

"Uncle Blake!"

When she heard Hanna's voice she closed her eyes in relief.

Oh thank you! She thought.

She could now get away from Blake but she would make sure that she won’t take this sitting down. She would wait for the perfect time to get her revenge on him somehow. She would put him in his place but she couldn’t do that right here and right now.

"Hannah!" Called the mother.

The little girl looked so excited to see Blake that she ran to him. The latter had no choice but to release her arm.He changed his expression before lifting Hanna. His lips broke in a smile.

The little girl kissed him on the cheek. Heather took the chance to split. She touched Kevin's arm and nodded at him as a sign that they needed to go.

"Bye Miss Pretty!" She heard Hannah say but she didn’t turn her head.

She dare not look at Blake. She knew that he was really boiling with anger. She and Kevin hurriedly went out of the building. When they were out, he took hold of her hand.

"Hon! Where are you going? I'll drop you off wherever it is." he said.

She smiled at him. "You are really my life saver!" she said as she gave him a peck on the cheek and he just grinned.

As she expected Vanessa told Carla about what happened. The older woman talked to her but fortunately, she didn’t sound angry.

"Heather I don’t want you ang my daughter to fight over a man. I don’t him personally because Vanessa hasn’t introduced him to me. She just said that they are already a couple. Sadly my daughter does what she wants and I can’t seem to stop her.." Her voice sounded gloomy and regretful.

Heather looked down on her shoes. She bit her lower lip. She was like Vanessa before. She did whatever her heart desired regardless of who she hurt along the way.

"I am not in a relationship with that man." she said in a quiet voice.

Carla sighed. She couldn't fathom why young women including her daughter and her friend's daughter were so liberated. Heather said she wasn’t in a relationship with that man but Vanessa told her that she saw them making out. She might need to tell Sophia about Heather.

"You are like a daughter to me too so please take care of yourself. You are very beautiful and you live alone. Beware of men who might take advantage of you Promise me that you will be extra careful okay?" Carla’s voice sounded really concerned.

She was really in a bad mood. Her life had been in a mess and all because of Blake. It was time to talk to him. Actually she didn’t have any plan of coming to the gym but she knew that he would be there now since it’s late in the afternoon.

With a sweet smile she smiled at the receptionist where he was. She told her that he was at his office. She was given directions by her. She thanked her and walked to where the receptionist told her to go to. She was about to knock but she noticed that the door was slightly open. She slowly pushed the door only to be dumbfounded with what she saw.

A woman is straddling Blake who was sitting on his office chair and it looked like they were kissing passionately. The woman's back was facing the door. Blake’s hand were on the woman’s shoulder. She stepped back from the door. She had difficulty breathing. She hurriedly went to the women's restroom.

Blake checked his other bars last night and also had some booze because he was so pissed since Heather was with that Kevin again. He even had to take the cab because he had too much alcohol. Heather was haunting his mind. He couldn’t even focus on other women he was with because of Stacey’s sister. He was annoyed with her but he badly wanted her too. He might be a real jerk because he used Sam to distract himself. She was pretty and sexy too but Heather's face, body and smell had never left his mind. Now he regretted calling Sam yesterday to go to his unit because that got him in trouble actually. He never brought his women to his place but he was so desperate. He wanted to prove to himself that what he felt for Heather was normal. He could take any woman to fulfill his sexual desire. Yesterday morning, Sam did everything to arouse him but his body didn’t cooperate. He just told her that he was tired. And since he had given Samantha the impression that he was really interested in her she went in his office now. The woman was willing to have sex with him and he should be elated. But the problem is Heather was occupying his mind almost all the time and today was not an exemption. He firmly took hold of Sam's shoulder to push her from him. He was very surprised when she just barged in his office. Maybe she wanted to do it with him since they didn’t do it yesterday.

This was all his fault anyway.

"Babe.." Sam tried to kiss his neck.

His eyes went to the door and saw that it was ajar.

He cursed silently thinking that someone might see them.

"Sam wait!" he said .

He lifted her by her waist and he walked to the door. He saw a glimpse of his receptionist. She seemed to be looking for something or someone. He got out of the office and caller her.

“Sir! Is Miss Heather in your office already?”

His face broke into a frown. "She's here?"

"Yes sir! I told her where your office is. Maybe she is in the restroom.”

Blake brushed his hair with his hand.

SHIT! She probably saw us! He told himself. He didn't like the thought.

"I am looking for her to tell her that Miss Pauline is waiting for her in the gym. I thought she is here. Anyway I will just wait for her in my desk. Bye sir!”.

Blake hurriedly went back to his office.

"Sam you gotta leave! We’ll talk later!”

Heather washed her face since she was about to cry. She didn’t know what was happening with her. She was aware that Blake was a pervert and she hated him. But why was she feeling this pain after seeing that scene in his office? He was already with Sam at his unit and now even in his office they were making out.

"You perv!” She angrily murmured.

She inhaled and exhaled. She needed to compose herself.

She would definitely talk to him today. She didn’t want to wait until tomorrow to tell him what she thought of him. She fixed herself. She was a rose with a lot of thorns. She shouldn't show any trace of weakness especially where Blake was concerned.

When she was satisfied with how she looked, she smiled to herself.

Be bad to people who are bad to you and that includes that manwhore! She told herself.

She would show him who the old Heather Williams was

With her head held high, she opened the bathroom door.

Blake his right shoulder on the wall as he waited for Heather His eyes turned dark when he saw her come out of the restroom.

She looked so fucking lovely. She seemed to become prettier each time he saw her. He was aware of her beauty before but he wasn't attracted to her. Maybe because he was still committed to Kristel that time.

He had been attracted to Stacey too but the attraction was purely admiration. Stacey was also very pretty and she was really selfless. What he felt for Heather now was very different. He hadn’t been attracted to any female as now with her. He wanted her and her body. He wanted to fuck her roughly and wildly. His libido was at its peak because of her. Now he was sure that no other woman could sexually satisfy him but her. He started having restless nights since he saw her again at the bar. Her soft body and delicious smell never left his mind. He felt the front of his jeans tightened.

He made a promise to himself.

If he needed to pretend that he was softening to her, he would. Women like to be wooed. Heather was worth it.

"Looking for me sweetheart?" He asked while he flashed his clit-tingling smile.

Heather’s eyes narrowed. Blake’s biceps with their tattoos were visible as he had his arms crossed on his chest. He was grinning while he lustfully looked at her face then her boobs.

All the blood in her body seemed to came up her head. She didn’t even care if she was using one of her most expensive luxury bags. She aimed at his member. She threw her bag at him with a lot of force.

"FUCK!" Blake cursed when her purse hit is bulge.
