Chapter 28

She was tracing his cheek with her forefinger but he suddenly gripped her wrist when he heard what she said. She winced. He pulled her towards him. Their faces were just an inch apart.

"We have only been together for two days and now you are already thinking of going out with dickheads? That is just bull!”

She bit her bottom lip and said, "Sweetheart, I was just joking. Don’t be mad."

She moved so she could kiss him on the lips. She let her tongue do the trick. She perfectly knew his weaknesses. Number one is sex and number two is Heather Williams. She suppressed a smile when she felt him loosen his grip on her wrist. He laid on his back and she continued kissing him. She was on top of him. He took hold of her nape as she kissed his lips then his neck. He gave her hickeys so she would retaliate. She sucked and nipped the skin of his neck.

"Shit sweetheart.." he moaned.

She raised her head to seductively look at him." Can we have one more round sweetheart?" she asked him as she straddled him.

His eyes turned molten again. "Go get me a rubber in that drawer princess." he said hoarsely.

She had noticed that Blake was in a black mood. They had dinner but he hardly touched his food. It was probably because of her looks. At the restaurant he glared at the waiter because the poor young man seemed to have a crush on her. The server went back to their table several times, asking if they needed anything while his eyes were on her. It wasn’t her fault that men find her attractive so Blake had to live with that.

She was still able to curl the tip of her short hair which looked good on her. She had minimal make-up which enhanced her natural loveliness. She was in a black dress. It hugged her body like a glove but at least it went a little below her knees. It matched her white high heels. She wanted to wear an off-the- shoulder dress but she had hickeys which she was sure that Blake really planned putting on her neck and shoulders. He didn’t like her showing her cleavage. She also left a lot of kiss marks on him so it was just fair.

"Sweetheart? Stop scowling." She rested the side of her head on his shoulders while he was driving.

He cursed and she sighed .She straightened then look at his right profile. "I am not showing any cleavage and my make-up is very light. My dress is knee-length what more do you want?" she pretended to sound sad but deep inside, she was secretly smiling.

He was really something else. People believed that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach but not for this man. The way to Blake’s heart is through his dick. Sad but true. And for a man like him to realize that a woman should be more than just a sex partner, he should from time to time witness how other men find her desirable. That way he would know that anytime , she could be snatched away from him. He was very possessive but was afraid of commitments. She was annoyed with herself because she ate her words. She told herself before that she would never let this man use her for sex but looked at her now. She sighed. At least she enjoyed what they did. And she was really confident by the way he was acting now, before one month was over, he would be crazy for her and she would be official girlfriend. It's the same in business. She needed to take a risk to gain success. She should always act carefree though she was also very scared that other women would want to steal him from her. But she would rather die than show him how she craved to be his real girlfriend. It should come from him. She was unlike Vanessa. She would never beg him to stay with her if he ever lost interest in her already. She was telling herself that would never happen. He would not get tired of her. She would think of cunning ways to make him obsessed with her and he would never want to leave her and would finally commit to her.

"I hope you behave later and stay away from alcohol!" he said in a harsh tone.

She sulkily leaned her back on the seat, "What do you think I am? Mischievous? I am not a kid okay?" She said in an irritated voice as she looked outside the window.

"You know what the fuck I mean! I will have my eyes on you even when I am on the stage later! " he said gritting his teeth. She rolled her eyes but she just zipped it.

Hector beamed when Blake introduced them. They were near the bar counter. Hector was attractive too. Like Blake, he also had tatooes though Blake’s were bigger. The older man shook hands with her. She flashed her sexy smile which showed her pearly white and almost perfect set of teeth.

"Now I know why...." Hector looked at Blake and winked.

She frowned." Why what?" she asked in an innocent but sweet voice.

Hector didn’t let go of her hand. Blake was just looking at his friend. Hector transferred his eyes back to her "Oh don’t mind it. It was nothing." He said with a chuckle.

Blake got her hand from Hector’s and the latter just shook his head while still grinning. "Your wife Elaine is coming. She might get angry seeing you holding Heather’s hand. You know how jealous she could get. " he said while his eyes were on a woman who was coming to them.

The other man threw his wife a glance. "Yeah. My wife is your female version." He joked and released a quiet laugh.

His wife was tall and slim. She had straight black hair. She was looking daggers at Hector and her. Blake pulled her to his side by her waist. He kissed the top of her head then whispered. "Don't chat with Hector too much. His wife is very possessive." He then straightened and readied a smile for Hector’s wife. "Hello Elaine." He greeted.

"Nice to see you Blake.” Elaine nodded.

"Hi honey.” Hector kissed her on the cheek.

Elaine frowned and glowered at her. She didn’t seem to care that Blake was with her.

"Elaine, I would like you to meet Heather. Sweetheart, Elaine is Hector's wife." Blake introduced them.

The woman raised a brow as she looked at her from head to toe. "Is she Kristel’s replacement? "Her voice had a tint of sarcasm.

Hector cleared his throat while Blake’s hand tightened around her. She sensed that Elaine was talking about his ex. She stopped herself from gritting her teeth. She was feeling jealous again. Before Blake could answer her, she said, “ No. Blake and I are just dating.” She almost winced when she felt his fingers almost dug her side.

Elaine's smile looked superficial. "I thought so."

"Err honey, let’s go eat first. Excuse us. “ Hector said to them.

They knew he wanted Elaine far from them. His wife could be bitchier to Heather if he didn’t take her away. He smiled apologetically at her which deepened Elaine’s frown. Blake just sighed and shook his head.

So Hector’s wife know this perv’s ex huh? And her name is Kristel! Heather angrily thought.

Blake took hold of her elbow and led her to a table. Jealousy was eating her but she was controlling her emotions. Elaine’s reaction and what she said when she told her they were just dating was unforgettable. She seemed to indirectly tell her that Blake had no plans of replacing Kristel yet. She heard Blake tell her he would rehearse with the band. She just nodded. He ordered a glass of orange juice for her before leaving her at the table.

"No alcohol!" He said then he kissed her on the lips quickly before going to the stage where the other band members were.

She was watching him as he hit the drums. She remembered what Pauline said when they first saw him playing the drums. He was not only very hot looking he was also talented. He looked even hotter when he performed. They only practiced for fifteen minutes and now the show started. Her eyes narrowed when saw how the women in the audience looked at him.

You can look but you can never have him! She murmured to herself.

She was surprised when someone touched her shoulder. It was Elaine. She motioned for her to follow her. Although puzzled, she stood up. Blake didn’t notice she went with Hector’s wife. Elaine led her outside.

“Don’t be surprised if I wanted to talk to you in private. I didn't like the way you were talking to my husband." She said directly.

She frowned. "I don’t know what you are talking about. Blake just introduced us."

"I am sorry for saying this but I don’t trust Blake’s bitches. There won’t be any problem if you were his real girlfriend but I know that he hasn’t gotten over my friend yet so that is impossible now. I just don’t want a repeat of what happened before. One of Blake’s whores seduced my husband.” She said in a very hostile tone.

Heather clenched her fists. "I am not one of his bitches." she said trying to control her anger.

Elaine sneered." Really? What’s different about you then? You and Kristel are polar opposites. She was the only woman Blake was really serious about. It was just so unfortunate that they broke up. You said you are just dating but look at your neck. I saw Blake's too. Do you think I could trust you? I don’t think my husband is safe from you. I can smell a flirt when I see one." She said gritting her teeth.

Heather slapped her. Due to shock, Elaine didn’t react immediately.

"You can keep your husband inside your panty for all I care! I am not interested in him! FYI! I don’t want to be a mistress of anyone! If you think Blake wants to get back with your friend then don’t just stand there you stupid bitch! Do something so they could be together again!” She angrily said before walking out.

She decided to call Pauline but she was with her sister and they went to a party. Her other friend Rica was with her boyfriend. That left her only one choice. Kevin. They decided to meet at a café and she couldn’t help sobbing on his shoulder when she saw him.

"Hon.." he whispered when he saw the state she was in. " Let’s go somewhere where we can have more privacy.” He suggested.

Blake cursed repeatedly when they couldn’t find Heather. “Where the fuck did she go?!” He asked Hector.

"Just call her. Did you two argue when Elaine and I left you?”

He shook his head as he brushed his hair with his hand. He had been calling her but she wasn’t answering. He was at the middle of their performance when he noticed that she wasn’t at the table where he left her. Immediately after the show, he looked for her everywhere. Hector even helped him but she was nowhere to be found.

"The guard said he saw her left!" he rasped.

"Maybe she met a friend. I saw her talking to someone on the phone.” Elaine lied.

She told the guard on duty to not say anything about her talking to Heather. She ordered him to just tell Blake that Heather left in a hurry.

Blake’s brows knitted when he heard his message alert tone. He got a message from Heather.

Go find yourself a new sex mate. I am backing out of our deal.

"BULLSHIT!!" he cursed furiously.

Hector forehead creased while Elaine’s eyes glinted and she swallowed a smile.
