”What did you say?” she asked because she couldn't believe her ears. He seemed to be in deep thought as he cradled her face.

She is really fucking beautiful! Blake told himself. "Will you be my official girlfriend sweetheart?" he asked huskily.

She felt her mouth went dry. "A-Are you serious? Does it mean that we are not just going to be sex mates?"

He flashed his clit-tingling smile then nodded. He pulled the back of her head for a French kiss. She smiled against his lips.

Well done Heather Williams! She congratulated herself.

Blake dropped Heather at work. She had to go because Carla called. He told her to talk to Vanessa’s mother about quitting. He would pick her up from the shop after two hours. She said she needed to finish some tasks. Blake didn’t want to continue there so he told her about the job Roel’s girlfriend mentioned. Roel used to be in the same band as his. Alicia, his fiancée said that she would recommend Heather. He went to Hector’s house after dropping Heather off. Elaine was out of the country since she had an international a flight. He didn’t feel comfortable when she was around so he took the chance to visit his friend while she was not home. He would be more uncomfortable especially if he and Hector would be talking about Heather. He told him what Elaine said to Heather and he was very apologetic. His ex and Elaine were of the same feather that’s why they were best of friends.

“Are you fucking serious dude?! Who are you and what have you done to my friend? Why did you tell her that you are ready to commit yourself to her?! Have you gone crazy?” Hector asked in disbelief.

He was playing with his beer can as he stared at it. "That's the only way I can make her stay with me. There is an asshole around her promising her a fucking commitment! No other man can have her! She belongs to me!" he said angrily.

Hector heaved a sigh. "You are going to be in deep shit dude once Heather found out! She seemed feisty!”

"She won’t find out.” He commented as he gulped his beer.

"Why not go serious with her? She is gorgeous and smart. What else can you ask for? You are lucky to have her you know.”

He shook his head. “ I still don’t trust women.”

"Look, not all women are the same. I guess it’s high time you change your ways and mindset. We are not getting any younger.”

"Heather is very attractive and she knows it." Blake said as if to himself.

"That’s why you’re afraid of getting serious with her? You think that like Kristel, she will also cheat on you? Dude, why not give it a try? From what I’ve witnessed what you feel for her is not just physical attraction. Your feelings are too intense. You are not like this before. You might regret it if she decided to be with another man. As you said someone is pursuing her at the moment. I am sure plenty of guys would want to be her man.”

He crushed his beer can with his right hand. "I can easily wipe them out!" he said menacingly.

Hector just shook his head.

Carla just left the office. Heather told her that she was quitting after finishing the designs for one of their clients. She didn’t want her to quit at first but eventually gave in when she told her what Vanessa did to her. She apologized in behalf of her daughter. She was gathering her things when Vanessa came in.

"Hmm… mom said that you are quitting. Why? I am asking because I am curious. Don't get me wrong .My mother's shop is better off without your cheap designs." She said insultingly.

Heather stopped what she was doing and looked daggers at the other woman. "Well my boyfriend doesn't want me to work here anymore." she said tonelessly.

Vanessa sneered. " I have a feeling that you are with a dirty old man. No man in his right mind would want a woman who is after another woman’s man. How pathetic!”

" Are you talking about Blake? And are you saying that he is yours?" she asked sarcastically.

Vanessa’s eyes narrowed. "He is mine! I am just giving him space .In a few days time we will talk. I know he can't say no to me. I make him happy in and out of bed. We shared so many intimate moments and we have done almost all the sex positions." she said with a smirk.

Inhale...exhale.....don't let this bitch have the last say! Heather advised herself.

What Vanessa said about having done almost all sex positions made her see red but she had to compose herself. She would deal with her pervert man later. She had to be calm so she could think of a good way to put the woman in her place.

She sighed. "It's no longer possible for you to talk to him." She said in a cool voice she got her phone and dialed.

"And why the hell not”

She just let out a sugary smile without answering her. She put her phone on her left ear. "Sweetheart? Where are you? Can you come inside please? I need help with my stuff...thanks." She said huskily.

"You are so extra! You only have very few things. Well, that is fine though. I want to see your man so I can give him a warning about you being a whore. He probably doesn’t have any idea what kind of woman you are." Vanessa said insultingly.

"You call me a whore? Have you looked at yourself in the mirror lately? I remember Blake said he saw you making out with Axel and you have been with other men while you were his bed warmer. If those don't make you a whore then I don't know what to call you." she retaliated.

"You bitch!" Vanessa was about to attack her when they heard a knock. With a frown, the other woman opened the door only to be surprised.

Blake looked so hot. He had a leather jacket on and a white t-shirt inside. He was in a pair of faded jeans .

"Cupcake! I knew it! I was sure that sooner or later you will come and see me!” Vanessa happily said. She ran to him and hugged him which made Heather grit her teeth.

Blake was taken aback but after a while, he removed the woman’s arm which were around his nape. He threw Heather a glance. She looked pissed and it showed on her face. Vanessa let him go but she was beaming as she looked at him adoringly.

"You really surprised me cupcake! Wait! I'll go get my bag. Let's get out of here." She said excited as she went to the table where her purse was.

Blake walked to where Heather was. When Vanessa turned and saw them standing next to each other she glowered at Heather.

"Cupcake?" She called Blake with a light frown.

She sighed and shook her head. “ You are not just a whore Vanessa but an assuming whore.” She then turned to Blake and place her hands on his muscular arms. She raised her face for a kiss. "You're just in time sweetheart." she told him huskily.

Blake obliged. He kissed her on the lips as Vanessa watched with her eyes wide.

After getting in Blake’s car, Heather sulked on her seat. When he reached for her for a kiss, she pushed him.

Frowning he asked, "Sweetheart? What's wrong?" He missed her a lot. The kiss they shared inside the office of Vanessa’s mother wasn’t enough. He knew that she wanted him to kiss her to show Vanessa that they were officially a couple already. That was fine with him. He would do anything for her.

"Are you really sure that we are really a couple now?” She asked sounding doubtful as she looked at him sharply.

His frown deepened. He started the engine. From the looks of it, he wasn’t going to get another kiss right now. His tigress looked angry. "What kind of a question is that sweetheart?” he asked while maneuvering the car.

"I have a feeling that you only said that so I will stop seeing Kevin.”

He cursed. Heather hit the nail on the head but he would never admit that she was right. "What the fuck are you saying?!" he rasped.

She was fuming. She couldn’t forget what Vanessa said that they had done a lot of sex positions already and she made him happy in and out of the bed. Could she really change this womanizer? She was now looking at his right profile. No woman could resist him. She only met two of his whores but she was already jealous as hell. What more if she met the others especially Kristel? What if he saw a prettier and sexier female? He had been used to his ways for so long. Women came to him willingly asking nothing from him. Not forcing him for any commitment. She was slowly losing her confidence. She knew he was only forced into this situation. Blake glanced at her. He narrowed his eyes when he saw her looking at him intently.

"What’s bothering you sweetheart? We are already a couple so stop overthinking okay?" he said.

She looked out the window. "I guess the old set-up is better. No strings attached. After a month you go your way I go my way.” She said as if to herself.

It was a good thing that the light was red, if not, Blake probably would have pressed on the break abruptly. "WHAT?!" His angry voice echoed in the car.

Heather remained looking out the window. Blake’s face turned red. He turned left when the traffic light changed to green. He parked his pick up in front of a convenience store.

"What the fuck did you just say? We talked about this already didn’t we? I thought everything was okay!" he swore angrily as he hit the steering wheel with his hands. "Did Vanessa say anything to you? Is that why you are acting and talking like that?”

He was well aware that she was possessive and jealous . But she was better than Kristel. Heather never made a scene and became violent unlike his ex. When Kristel was jealous, she would either physically hurt the woman she was jealous with or she would take her anger out on her. She would hit his chest and cursed at him repeatedly. Heather could handle her jealousy in public. But the problem was when they were alone that was when her tigress side came out. She never hit him but she had a very sharp tongue.

"That bitch told me that you have done all the sex positions with her, you womanizing pervert!! " She hissed.

He sighed heavily. "For Pete's sake sweetheart! That was in the past and you know everything about us right? So why make a big deal out of it?" He raked his hair with his hand.

Heather’s face on the other hand was crimson. It took all her willpower not to hit Vanessa because she was thinking of Carla who was her mother’s friend. If not for that she would have slapped Vanesa multiple times. She also had the desire to hit Blake but she wouldn’t do any of those. Those were too cheap and barbaric. She had other ways to get back at him.

" You have had a lot of women before me! I have only been with you and I don't consider Harvey as my first anyway!"

Gritting his teeth, he asked, "So what do you mean?"

She jutted her chin." Maybe I should try being with other men...Blake!"

He felt heat came up his neck to his head . He pulled her to him. "Don't make me lose it sweetheart! You will regret it next time you say something like that! When I say that we are a couple then that’s it!! Don’t even think about cheating on me! I won't regret what I will do if you did!"

For a second or two Heather felt a bit scared but she soon recovered. " And as for you my perv boyfriend, if you ever cheat on me I will leave you for good!” she said.

Blake frowned. He should really be extra careful. Heather shouldn’t know the truth. Hector was right, his tigress was really something else. Then he remembered what his cousin Eve said before.

"You two will have one hell of a relationship if you become a couple. A good boy turned bad and a bad girl trying to be good...a recipe for disaster..."
