Chapter 31
She closed the door quickly. She knew Blake and his temper. One thing was for sure, Kevin would be hurt.
Blake frowned. "Who is on the door sweetheart?" he asked, cocking his left brow.
She just shook her head from side to side as she leaned on the door, her eyes were wide. But then, Kevin knocked again.
"HON?!" he called which distorted her face.
She swallowed a groan when she saw the reaction of Blake. His handsome face became grim and then he said in a very cold voice, "Move away from the fucking door sweetheart..."
"B-Blake please. Don’t..." she pleaded.
"Hon? Open up!"
She yelped when Blake all of a sudden lifted her and moved her away from the door. She covered her mouth with her hand when he angrily opened it. The minute the it was opened, he punched Kevin on the face.
From the impact, Kevin's body flew back. The bags he was holding fell on the ground. He received another punch from Blake before he pushed him against the wall of her aunt’s small garage then smacked him again on the face and the stomach.
" STOP!!" She ran towards them. She wrapped her arms around him so he would stop hitting Kevin. "Please stop!” She pleaded.
He stopped hitting Kevin but he took hold of his collar. "You fucking dickhead! Didn’t I tell you stay away from her?!"
"Oh my God what is happening?!"
They all turned to look at Heather’s aunt.

They were all in the living room. Blake was standing near the door with a scowl on his face. His arms were crossed on his chest as he glared at Kevin. Heather’s aunt was tending to Kevin’s minor injury while reprimanding Blake. The former's lips were bleeding. Blake was quiet but grim faced.
"It was a good thing that I arrived in time if not I couldn’t imagine what else could have happened.!” Amor straightened after putting some medicine on Kevin’s lips. "We should all talk!" She turned to look at Blake, "You sit there!"
She pointed at the left side of the long sofa where Kevin was sitting on the other end. Blake looked as if he wanted to refuse. "What? Don’t you want to?” Heather’s aunt asked with a scowl.
Blake uncrossed his arms then sat down.
Now the older woman looked at Heather. “Sit at the middle!” Heather did as she was told. She sat between the two men.
Amor pulled a chair and sat across from them. "What’s your name?” She asked Kevin and he answered politely. “Why are you he and why do you know my house?”
Heather tensed with her aunt’s question. Blake would find out that she was with Kevin last night.
"I drove Heather here ma'm." he said.
Blake cursed and Amor’s eyes went to him for a second while Heather lowered hers.
“Going back to you Kevin! What is your relationship with my niece? Why did you drive her here?”
Oh dear! I hope Kevin won't say anything to fuel Blake's anger more! Heather wished.
"I am planning to woo her ma’m." Kevin said honestly.
Blake cursed and furiously stood up. Heather nipped her lower lip.
Amor looked at him angrily but Blake said, “I am sorry Amor but can Heather and I go now? I am afraid I am about to do something again and this time it is going to be worse.” he said in a controlled voice.
The older woman also got up." Okay I understand why you are furious. You and Heather are a couple and this man wants to woo her." She then moved her eyes to Kevin.” Don’t you know that my niece already has a boyfriend? Why do you still want to court her?”
“I know I can take her of her much better.” Kevin replied.
Heather gasped when Blake angrily ran to Kevin and took hold of his collar. "Bullshit!!" he cursed then threw the other man to the other side of the living room.
"BLATE!" exclaimed Amor.
"Blake!!" called Heather.

Amor asked the the two men to go out because she wanted to talk to Heather in private. Kevin went to his car and drove away while Blake was in his car waiting for her.
“What’s wrong with you? You know how jealous and violent your boyfriend is why do you still let that Gavin near you?"
Heather lowered her eyes. "His name is Kevin auntie.” She said in a small voice.
"They sound almost the same!"
"I was just so confused and angry last night so I called Kevin. My friends weren’t available.”
"Why? Did you have a fight with Blate?"
"It’s Blake auntie. No not really. His friend’s wife and I had a misunderstanding. Blake was performing on the stage and I didn’t want to disturb him so I left without telling him”
Amor sat next to her. "Well next time don’t call other men! If you don’t stop doing that your boyfriend would continue smacking faces! Oh dear! Look what happened here today! I hope this would be the last okay?”
She just nodded after apologizing to her aunt.

Blake couldn’t contain his anger. He couldn’t just sit in the car. He got off then let out his anger on a tree near Amor’s house. He repeatedly kicked it while cursing. After releasing some of his rage, he leaned his back on the poor tree and put his hands on his nape as he looked up. He was right all along. Heather was with an asshole last night and that shit admitted he wanted to woo her. He murmured a bad word again. He wanted to badly injure Kevin but Heather’s aunt came.
Heather had a heavy frown when she got in the vehicle.
"Why are you so violent? You hit Kevin just like that and what’s worse is it was in my aunt’s living room and she was there to witness everything!”
She was afraid of him but what he did was too much.
"We'll talk later sweetheart. I want to focus on driving. At this point you probably know how pissed I am." he said coldly without looking at her.
She just sighed. It wasn’t a part of her plan to call Kevin last night but she had no choice. She didn’t expect that he would confess his real feelings to her. If she knew how he felt about her, she would have never asked any favor from him. Unfortunately Blake found out where she was and Kevin came too. She didn’t want Kevin to get hurt but it did happen. She and Blake really need a serious talk. A part of her wanted to be with him but another part wanted out. She had no complaints about the physical part of their relationship. But after discovering that she loved him she didn’t want to risk her heart. He was a certified womanizer and wasn’t over his ex yet.

They decided to eat lunch first. Maybe they both knew that if they went straight to any of their units, they would end up in bed instead of having a serious talk.
"Can you just stop smacking people when you want to? It is so barbaric!" She said with a frown after the waiter got their orders.
Blake had his lips set in a thin line. He crossed his arms on his chest and leaned on his chair.
"You fucking know that I hate dickheads going near you especially that asshole! And you had to call him to pick you up last night? He knew where you were while I was going crazy worrying about you? Do you know that I have been to Pauline's place last night to look for you? If I didn’t see Amy this morning you were probably still with that asshole now!" he said through gritted teeth.
She shook her head. When he was in a foul mood like now, she still feel a bit scared. She was lucky they were in a public place.
"You are over-reacting sweetheart." She calmly said.
He cursed and the other diners looked at them.
"Don’t curse again and keep it low!" she hissed.
She was now ready to be feisty again. She couldn’t let this certified womanizer who was scared of commitments but utterly possessive, have his way all the time. She loved him but she would never tell him. If she won’t stand up for herself from time to time he would make her his slave in and out of bed. She was not Heather Williams if she couldn't wrap him around her little finger. He was obviously into her too but hadn’t yet realized or accepted it yet. She had to do everything she could to make him realize that she was for keeps so he must get rid of his hang-ups. Soon she would find out what really happened between him and his ex.
He leaned on the table and through gritted teeth asked," Why do you still let him near you? Doesn’t he know that you are with me already? And that fucking son of a bitch still wants to woo you?! That asshole is being disrespectful!”
She sighed heavily. She also leaned forward on the table.
In a low voice she said," Correction. We are just fucking mates. He can woo me now if he wants to because I am basically single..." She wasn't able to finish what she was about to say when Blake stood up and grabbed her hand. "Hey! Where are we going?” she asked.
He led her to the side door of the restaurant where there was a small garden and a gazebo. The diners inside could see them but at least couldn’t hear them.
Without releasing her arm he said in a grating tone, "Must I remind you of our rule?! I won't have other women and you can't go out with other men, dammit! We have talked about this plenty of time already didn’t we? Do you want it in black and white so you don’t fucking forget it?”
"Let me go!”
He didn't release her but he loosened his hold.
"He will just woo me for Pete’s sake. At least after a month someone out there will be waiting for me! Besides I don’t have to go out on a date with him at the moment!”
He pulled her to him. His eyes were sparkling from rage. His mouth had a white ring around it. "No fucking way!!" he rasped.
"You are so selfish! You want to have your cake and eat it too!"
"YOU ARE MINE!!" his hold tightened.
"You womanizing beast! You are so unfair! I don't want to be your toy anymore! Kevin's offer is way much better! He wants to be committed to me not just fuck me..."
He stopped her from finishing her sentence by kissing her roughly. She protested against his mouth. She tried her best to not open her mouth but that didn’t seem to bother him. He continued kissing her for several more seconds. She was sure they already have an audience but Blake didn’t seem to care as usual.
When he released her he asked in a very cold voice, "Is that what you want? Commitment?"
She gaped because of his unexpected question.
"Answer me!" he asked in a controlled voice.
She jutted her chin. "Yes!"
His eyes narrowed as he stared at her lovely face. His hands on either side of her face tightened.
"Then I will give it to you sweetheart.." he said all of a sudden.
